The service was great, we sat at the bar and got front row seats to the head chef making so many beautiful and delicious rolls. I would recommend making a reservation it seems to get very busy on weekends, but we were a walk in on a Saturday during rush hour and we got sat within 30 min of arriving (because we asked if we could sit at the bar & the party before us wanted a table). The ambiance was perfect. Not too formal but not too casual. Will definitely be coming back whenever I'm in town.

Our server was attentive and checked in regularly to see if we needed drink refills. For an appetizer, we ordered the deep-fried gyoza. It came out fresh and hot from the fryer. My only gripe was that it seemed like it may have been double fried. it was definitely darker in color than I expected. That did add to the crispiness factor so still a win in my book. I ordered the spicy chirashi. The portion was massive with a good fish-to-rice-to-veggie ratio. The fish was nicely cubed, although I wish the pieces were slightly bigger. Smart move providing a spoon because I definitely ended up using it! I also really appreciated that the spicy sauce came on the side. It had a nice kick to help control the flavor of each bite. Overall, it was a quick and satisfying lunch that hit the sushi craving. My colleague ordered the salmon chirashi, and that looked like a generous portion as well. I'll definitely be trying that next time.

Our server greeted us right away and was very sweet and attentive. You could tell she was still in training, but everything went smoothly. The only small thing I would suggest is having more napkins at the table, since we were only given one per plate and ended up needing a few more during the meal. We had originally reserved a tatami table, but quickly realized it wasn't the best fit for our group since we had some older people with knee pain. Just a heads up, the tatami seating does not have recessed flooring. Luckily, we were able to adjust to a regular table. Once we were settled, we looked through the menu and ordered a double toro roll, a wagyu roll, and a dinner bento with unagi-don. Happy to report everything we ordered was delicious! The double toro was very fresh and refreshing, and the wagyu roll had a rich, savory flavor that reminded us of a yummy steak. We enjoyed every bite. I was especially impressed with my bento box. The presentation was beautiful and the portions were very generous. The bento came with steamed egg, a fresh garden salad, assorted tempura, and unagi-don. Everything in the box tasted great. The tempura was light and crispy, and the unagi was savory and satisfying with egg ribbons in the rice. I think it might be one of the best bento boxes I've had in a long time. Overall, we had a great experience at Azayaka Japanese Fusion. The food was delicious, the service was warm, and we would definitely come back to try more dishes.

Service 0/5, Ambience 5/5, Food 4/5…read more We came on a Thursday evening around 5 pm on 6/4 and it wasn't busy. First, I want to say the chef was younger, but he put alot of care and effort into each dish, so he should definitely be acknowledged. However, as soon as we walked in, there was no greeting from both of the female servers, only cold stares. Many servers do not give great service to younger tables and assume they won't tip. This occurred throughout our dining experience and we didn't feel welcomed at all. Our table also wasn't the biggest and there was no pre-bussing done to clear our dining space. Also, as a recent graduate, I brought my cap to receive a $15 gift card for their promotion. Instead, she gave a "neighborhood" discount (10% off which made it $10 off). I didn't mention anything since I did not feel like coming back to this location. Then I looked at the receipt, wrote a 20% tip, but this was where I felt scammed. It's difficult to explain and I wish I took a picture, but please check your math on the suggested tip. Total with discount: $98 Previous Total: $108 Suggested Tip: 20% = $20 and Suggested Total: $128 I don't mind tipping $20, but the suggested total would include a $30 tip? I don't know if it's intentional and the server wanted to pocket the discount as her tip, but it did not feel fair. We had two younger kids with us and I didn't want them to notice, so we just left after paying. We been to the Sacramento location many times, but their Roseville location was disappointing. Horrible service.

Finally came in on a Sunday during lunch time shortly after they opened and we got seated right away. Their concept is fresh AYCE sushi for decent pricing. Although limited menu options, it was still pretty good. Raku serves fresh, delicious sushi including rolls and nigiri, salad bar with edamame and cucumbers. The space is very clean and inviting. Staff are efficient, attentive and friendly. Reservations are available through Yelp but better to arrive early while it's not packed. We had edamame, spicy cucumber and seaweed from the salad bar. Our server took our 1st round of orders and so on. We had deep fried oysters, katsu, tempura. Rolls like the spider, volcano, capitol, dragon, rainbow and crazy. Helped ourselves with more rainbow and spider roll as both were good. We also hd a sampling of fried bananas (this 1 I liked) and donuts (I didn't care for this). It was a pretty good experience for the price. Definitely not the best that we had but it was ok for the price. June 2026

Helped ourselves to the salad bar with the edamame, cucumber and seaweed. Came back to our table with our first round of food ready for feasting. Started with deep fried items like the katsu, oysters and tempura then went to consuming rolls like the volcano, spider, capitol, crazy, dragon and rainbow. I had an order of the hamachi nigiri and a sampling of deep fried bananas and a donut for dessert but we didn't care for them. Servers were fast and very attentive. The price point is decent. Definitely worth what you pay for.

4.5 STARS its sushi…read moreis very popular, so the wait can be long during peak times - around 90 minutes to 2 hours. there are three options for ayce, with different dishes included in each option. my boyfriend and i like course B because we think it's the best value, and it includes all of the nigiri, which is mostly what we like to order. we don't think course C includes enough additional items to be worth the increase in price. service is friendly, and we're always checked on often! they offered a wide selection of appetizers and hot dishes. the seafood dynamite included baby scallops and mushrooms in a mayo and sweet eel sauce mixture. i thought it was a little too heavy and wish it included other seafood besides scallops. the tako wasabi was one of the best versions of this dish i've tried, and i'm usually not a huge fan of this dish! the wasabi wasn't too strong, and the sesame seeds added such a nice flavor and texture. the sesame flavor complemented the wasabi and made it easier to eat. the monkey brain was a fried crab mix and mushrooms with spicy mayo and eel sauce. the portion was pretty big, so it was filling and heavy. the baked green mussels were very yummy! the white sauce gave it a creaminess and sweetness, and it came out super hot. the yellowtail collar was very juicy! it came with a slightly sweet soy-based sauce, and it was overall a light app. the spicy garlic edamame had a great garlicky flavor with a small kick. i liked that it came out hot, and it was a good portion! the sauce pooled at the bottom, and it was very oily, although the edamame at the bottom also had more flavor. i enjoyed the coconut flakes in the batter for the coconut shrimp tempura, which provided most of the flavor. the sauce was the same as the one served with the soft shell crab. the corn cheese was slightly sweet and cheesy, which i liked. the cheese was a little too liquidy but otherwise solid. the quality of the soft shell crab varied between different visits. i wasn't a fan of the chewy shell when it came out lukewarm, but when it came out fresh and hot, the texture was much better - crunchy and easy to eat. overall, it was seasoned well, and the lemon added freshness. the sauce was very light and thin, so i couldn't place the exact flavor. there were lots of options for sushi rolls, and they allowed half-size rolls, except for baked or 6-pc rolls. the lemon x salmon roll was one of my favorites! the lemon was thinly sliced, and the salmon was soft. it was very fresh and light. the washington roll was similar to the lemon x salmon roll in terms of brightness from the ponzu. the salmon was so soft, and there was salmon on top and inside of the roll, which i loved. it was also one of my favorite rolls, maybe more so than the lemon x salmon. the sauce on the henry roll was a little too much for me, but the lemon helped cut through it a bit. it had the typical combo of spicy mayo and eel sauce. the shrimp tempura was so crunchy! the sexy bomb roll was a regular shrimp tempura roll topped with salmon, spicy mayo, and eel sauce, but with the addition of cream cheese. again, the shrimp was crunchy, but the cream cheese was too overwhelming for me. the flavor was otherwise standard. the something wrong roll included shrimp tempura and spicy seafood mixes, including spicy soft shell crab, spicy tuna, and spicy crab mix, topped with more seafood. i liked the idea of the roll, but together, the spicy and tangy flavors were overwhelming. since it had so many components, it was also very filling! the nigiri was as good as ayce nigiri gets! we tried the tuna, garlic tuna, cajun tuna, super white tuna, salmon, xxx salmon, cajun salmon, smoked salmon, garlic salmon, salmon belly, paprika seared salmon, yuzu yellowtail, squid, spicy octopus, freshwater eel, and mayo scallop. the fish was soft and didn't taste too fishy. the fish to rice ratio was great! there was a tiny amount of rice for each nigiri, so we didn't get full on just rice. i wasn't a fan of the xxx nigiri, which came with a dollop of spicy sauce and thickly sliced jalapeno on top. i liked the seared flavor of the cajun tuna and cajun salmon, and all of the regular fish were good too. for ~$40 per person, the menu is very extensive, and we feel like it's really worth it! they offer a wide variety of appetizers and lots of great options for nigiri and rolls. we also appreciate the portion size of the dishes, which allows us to try more menu items. although a lot of the menu is tasty, the nigiri makes the price worth it alone, and we will definitely come back to its sushi whenever we're in the area!

First off, PK Sushi is a family-owned gem, and you can feel that the moment you walk in. The vibe is casual, welcoming, and perfect for family dining--but it's also polished enough that we've happily chosen it for date nights too. Whether you're rolling in with a small group or hosting a very large party, they somehow make it all feel effortless. The staff and owners are truly amazing. Warm, attentive, and genuinely kind--they remember you, take care of you, and make you feel like more than just another table. That kind of hospitality is rare and it keeps us coming back. Now let's talk about the food--because wow. Our go-to favorites (and honestly, you can't go wrong with any of these): * BBQ Albacore - That sauce is absolutely insane. We crave it. * Monkey Eyes - Always a must-order. * Rainbow Roll - Fresh, balanced, and beautifully done. * PK Roll - A house classic for a reason. * Thomas Train - Fun, flavorful, and memorable. * Ninja Roll - A straight 10/10, no notes. If I had to make one complaint--and this is really reaching--it's that they aren't open for lunch on Mondays. That's it. That's the only downside. PK Sushi nails the trifecta: great food, incredible service, and a welcoming atmosphere. It's the kind of place you recommend confidently and bring people you care about. We're proud to call ourselves regulars and will happily keep coming back. I love that they know my daughter's order, but they still help us find new menu items each trip. If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor--go.

The cucumber salad was very good, the edamane looked like they had been frozen then defrosted and served, and the stuffed jalapeños tasted off, we ate them, 4 total. My wife ordered a spider roll, it had a strong gamy taste like a lower grade fish that was used. My wife tried two pieces, swallowed the first and spit the second into her napkin, to her it was awful. I ordered the Shashimi Regular, that came with a small salad and miso soup, they were both good, I received the shashimi last, long after the spider roll; it was interesting, but the fish was more of a class C instead of a class A. Their prices were class A and the fish didn't meet that expectation. It was an $84.50 meal but didn't meet the expectations of a class A sushi meal. The waitress was very professional and asked us about the meal, we were honest and she took the spider roll off the bill. She offered an other roll but by then my wife was done. My wife declined the offer. The restaurant's ambiance was modern and very nice. I would not recommend eating here to my friends.

The order arrived quick but the tuna and salmon nigiri was not great, didn't taste very fresh, and they drop off the order without saying anything like they're super busy. The ambiance is odd, you can hear a lot of noise from the kitchen area, and even when they're clearing dishes off the table, it was very loud, like they were closed and no customers were around. The music is barely audible, they use harsh lighting that makes the restaurant feel even less hospitable.
