Amazing place great service and AMAZING MUSIC!!!!!!!been going since they opened. They amazing

From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed by the most warm and inviting ambiance this sushi restaurant truly feels like a hidden gem. The atmosphere is cozy, relaxing, and perfectly set for an unforgettable dining experience. The service is absolutely top-tier, and Eddie, the owner, goes above and beyond to make every guest feel genuinely appreciated. His passion and attention to detail shine through in every aspect of the restaurant. The sushi is incredibly fresh, beautifully crafted, and full of flavor hands down some of the best I've had. If you're looking for exceptional food, outstanding service, and a place that makes you feel right at home, this spot is a must-visit.

One of best sushi spots I've been to! They have such a nice ambiance and amazing service. Positives: - fair pricing - amazing service - beautiful place - fresh sashimi & nigiri - flavorful rolls - perfect portioning Negatives: - to be honest, I don't have any negatives.

Amazing service, delicious fresh sushi. The rolls are a great size and they have an amazing buy 2 rolls get 1 free special. So we got six rolls for the price of four. Spent less than we would have at Mikuni for more rolls! We got the Oh Yes, Half & Half, Happy Day, Lucky 7 and Ichiban. We also had their Soju flight. All for under $100. Highly recommend!

I rarely give a 5 star review, but this place deserves it. Service was prompt and courteous. The server clearly knew the menu well and she made recommendations to us and accommodations for us. We were in a group, but she provided separate tickets. She didn't hover, but was watchful when we needed refills of their truly delicious green tea and boxes at the end of our meal. There is a wide variety of dishes on the menu. The lunch special is chicken teriyaki. A large serving of grilled chicken comes with white rice, a green salad, and your choice of potstickers or sushi roll. The chicken was grilled and served without sauce. Bottles of teriyaki, soy and sriracha were on the table so we could season our plate as we liked. Everyone was pleased with their choice and there were three clean plates at our table. Though this place is in a small strip mall across from Sierra College, it was very quiet inside. An absolute must for us aging diners! My ticket was $20, which is about in line with lunch specials these days and considering the generosity of the servings. Planning to return to try the fish!

Great food and great server Amanda! We ordered The Lion King roll, California roll, and golden California roll. It was amazing and delicious. We also got Bulgogi fries which were way better than we expected.

The freshest sashimi we've had on the mainland and we loved their rolls too. Excellent service. We want to take all our friends and family here

The sashimi is always delicious and fresh. The Aloha rolls, pepper fin tuna, Korean Beef, and kimchi are some of my go to dishes.

Love this sushi restaurant. The ambiance and service are perfect, and the sushi is delectable! Our favorites are the Tokyo Dori, Popcorn and Highway 65 rolls.

From top to bottom: Sex in the city, red hot roll and Mt. Fuji roll.

We have been going to this establishment for over 20 years. When we heard that the place had been sold, we were a little nervous at first. But the new owners have done such a great job with updating the decor. The service staff stayed on and they are wonderful. The menu is pretty much the same but they added some new items to the menu. They also run some good specials which is nice since things are getting so expensive. If you love sushi rolls, buy two rolls and get one free. It's a great deal.

My fellow Yelpers led me to Naruto since we were less than a few miles away. Upon entering the restaurant, a kind young man sat us immediately and provided menus and iced waters. Both Udon Noodles that my nieces chose had excellent broth and the kitchen did not skimp on the toppings. The restaurant is a bit dark inside but it's probably to create a more romantic date night vibe. Our server was attentive and assisted with additional requests as we worked our way through our dinner. Quality of sushi definitely meets with the competition. Our server greeted us right away and was very sweet and attentive. You could tell she was still in training, but everything went smoothly. The only small thing I would suggest is having more napkins at the table, since we were only given one per plate and ended up needing a few more during the meal. We had originally reserved a tatami table, but quickly realized it wasn't the best fit for our group since we had some older people with knee pain. Just a heads up, the tatami seating does not have recessed flooring. Luckily, we were able to adjust to a regular table. Once we were settled, we looked through the menu and ordered a double toro roll, a wagyu roll, and a dinner bento with unagi-don. Happy to report everything we ordered was delicious! The double toro was very fresh and refreshing, and the wagyu roll had a rich, savory flavor that reminded us of a yummy steak. We enjoyed every bite. I was especially impressed with my bento box. The presentation was beautiful and the portions were very generous. The bento came with steamed egg, a fresh garden salad, assorted tempura, and unagi-don. Everything in the box tasted great. The tempura was light and crispy, and the unagi was savory and satisfying with egg ribbons in the rice. I think it might be one of the best bento boxes I've had in a long time. Overall, we had a great experience at Azayaka Japanese Fusion. The food was delicious, the service was warm, and we would definitely come back to try more dishes.

First, I want to say the chef was younger, but he put alot of care and effort into each dish, so he should definitely be acknowledged. However, as soon as we walked in, there was no greeting from both of the female servers, only cold stares. Many servers do not give great service to younger tables and assume they won't tip. This occurred throughout our dining experience and we didn't feel welcomed at all. Our table also wasn't the biggest and there was no pre-bussing done to clear our dining space. Also, as a recent graduate, I brought my cap to receive a $15 gift card for their promotion. Instead, she gave a "neighborhood" discount (10% off which made it $10 off). I didn't mention anything since I did not feel like coming back to this location. Then I looked at the receipt, wrote a 20% tip, but this was where I felt scammed. It's difficult to explain and I wish I took a picture, but please check your math on the suggested tip. Total with discount: $98 Previous Total: $108 Suggested Tip: 20% = $20 and Suggested Total: $128 I don't mind tipping $20, but the suggested total would include a $30 tip? I don't know if it's intentional and the server wanted to pocket the discount as her tip, but it did not feel fair. We had two younger kids with us and I didn't want them to notice, so we just left after paying. We been to the Sacramento location many times, but their Roseville location was disappointing. Horrible service.

First off, PK Sushi is a family-owned gem, and you can feel that the moment you walk in. The vibe is casual, welcoming, and perfect for family dining--but it's also polished enough that we've happily chosen it for date nights too. Whether you're rolling in with a small group or hosting a very large party, they somehow make it all feel effortless. The staff and owners are truly amazing. Warm, attentive, and genuinely kind--they remember you, take care of you, and make you feel like more than just another table. That kind of hospitality is rare and it keeps us coming back. Now let's talk about the food--because wow. Our go-to favorites (and honestly, you can't go wrong with any of these): * BBQ Albacore - That sauce is absolutely insane. We crave it. * Monkey Eyes - Always a must-order. * Rainbow Roll - Fresh, balanced, and beautifully done. * PK Roll - A house classic for a reason. * Thomas Train - Fun, flavorful, and memorable. * Ninja Roll - A straight 10/10, no notes. If I had to make one complaint--and this is really reaching--it's that they aren't open for lunch on Mondays. That's it. That's the only downside. PK Sushi nails the trifecta: great food, incredible service, and a welcoming atmosphere. It's the kind of place you recommend confidently and bring people you care about. We're proud to call ourselves regulars and will happily keep coming back. I love that they know my daughter's order, but they still help us find new menu items each trip. The presentation was nice and everything looked fresh, but the overall experience was pretty underwhelming for the price. We ordered the Rainbow Roll and they forgot the onions, which was disappointing since it's a basic component of the roll, had avocado and a crab stick wrapped inside and it was just very off. Flavor wise, most of the rolls were very bland and lacked complexity. A lot of the menu feels repetitive, like the same ingredients are just rearranged into different rolls without much creativity. I was especially looking forward to something with hamachi, but they didn't have any options on the menu. I asked for a custom roll, and while they were able to make one, it was just okay and didn't stand out. For the price point, I expected more depth of flavor and more unique combinations. There are quite a few sushi spots nearby that offer more interesting rolls and better overall value. I'd probably choose places like BF Miyabi, Tang's, or Roku over this next time. Not terrible, but not somewhere I'd go out of my way to return to, when I was eating this, I kept thinking to myself something just tastes off like it's missing something

The cucumber salad was very good, the edamane looked like they had been frozen then defrosted and served, and the stuffed jalapeños tasted off, we ate them, 4 total. My wife ordered a spider roll, it had a strong gamy taste like a lower grade fish that was used. My wife tried two pieces, swallowed the first and spit the second into her napkin, to her it was awful. I ordered the Shashimi Regular, that came with a small salad and miso soup, they were both good, I received the shashimi last, long after the spider roll; it was interesting, but the fish was more of a class C instead of a class A. Their prices were class A and the fish didn't meet that expectation. It was an $84.50 meal but didn't meet the expectations of a class A sushi meal. The waitress was very professional and asked us about the meal, we were honest and she took the spider roll off the bill. She offered an other roll but by then my wife was done.
