Stopped in for lunch with my crew today and we enjoyed it. The restaurant is clean and well decorated, not overly done but simple and neat. The service was pretty good our waitress explained the menu and offered a couple suggestions that were on point. We ordered 5 different rolls because there all half off during the week for lunch, which was super dope. All the rolls were good and it was plenty of food. I recommend coming for lunch so that you can try different rolls at a decent price point. Firefly Roll 8.5/10 Kamakazi Roll 8/10 Stuffed Crunch Roll 7.5/10 Sukara Roll 8/10

My partner and I went to Arigato Sushi for dinner on a Sunday night, and unfortunately, it was not a great experience--one we won't be repeating. We ordered a 3-item combo bento and a spicy tuna roll. The meal started off okay with the miso soup and salad. The miso soup was actually good, but the salad was absolutely drenched in dressing. After eating it, both my partner and I started experiencing stomach aches. I initially brushed it off, hoping it was nothing. Then came the spicy tuna roll, which lacked flavor and tasted like plain tuna mixed with chili pepper--no depth, no balance. Almost immediately after eating it, I had to rush to the restroom. When my bento arrived, the quality issues became even more obvious. The tuna was clearly frozen at some point and wasn't cold, but room temperature, which was extremely concerning. The teriyaki salmon was just okay but heavily sauced, and the chicken katsu was dry. I can see why this place might appeal to some, especially with their "half off" rolls, which looked generously covered in unagi sauce. However, it felt like sauce was being used to mask a lack of quality rather than enhance the food. Overall, between the questionable food handling, lack of flavor, and how we felt afterward, this was a disappointing and uncomfortable dining experience. Sadly, Arigato Sushi is not somewhere we'll be returning to.

I have been here several times over the years and the food is consistently good. I usually get a couple of rolls but today I felt like a bento box. The three item bento is definitely worth it since it's only a couple bucks more than a single item bento. I love their spicy edamame. It's the best one imo compared to other sushi places. The bento box comes with my favorite salad and a miso soup (although I don't think it comes with it if you order for Togo). I wish I could drink this dressing on this salad. Service was good. The servers came by a couple of times to check to see if I needed anything. They have "half off" rolls! Price is not bad for what you get!

Ordered a to go order - it was just okay - maybe better if in the restaurant- rolls were small, one roll looked like we only got half a roll - we also got edamame and miso soup which were good, not sure we will be back.

We went around 2pm & this place was hopping!!! We were greeted & seated pretty fast. We wanted ice water & they added lemon 2 it-delish!!! We each ordered 1 roll since it was in the middle of the day. I got the Golden Gate roll & Neenee got the Dragon roll. Love the little red beads (don't know what they r called) on top as well as the 2 sauces. My daughter really enjoys the Dragon roll. This spot has a cool vibe w/o being fancy or a dive!!! Great job 2day!!!

Great drinks and vibes. You can watch the chefs make the sushi, which is already high quality. We ordered a lot and had a large party, and the service was still spot on.

Came here on a Saturday with wife. She wanted a bento box and she likes the one a here. This spot gets pretty busy on the weekends so sometimes there's a little wait. This time we were seated super quick. Order was taken pretty fast too. The folks are pretty efficient. We both got bentos but with different protein. I got the tempura and sashimi. We both liked what we had right down to the miso soup. Took our time but the folks here are attentive and checked on us just in case. It was all pretty good. We'll definitely be back for more.

Bento box with gyoza, teriyaki chicken, and tempura mix. Also Maui and spicy Johnny roll.

This place is delicious, affordable, never a long wait, and such a lovely place to have a meal. I come here a lot with my best friend and we are never disappointed. We usually get a bento box and two rolls to share and end up having a small box of leftovers to came home. I especially love the Maui and Spicy Johnny roll, but never disappointed with the bento box either!

Food is fresh, lots of seating but depends what time you get there (lunch or dinner rush), lots of parking since it's near the mall.

So much better than delta shores location! The nigiri was BOMB! Yuzu yellowtail, super white tuna,…read more& paprika seared salmon were all so good! Also tried their mushroom bomb (it was more crab meat than mushroom), shrimp lollipops (worth it), & yellowtail hand roll. Service is super quick and every server was so kind and attentive to refills! We would order and not even 5 min later our food arrived. It's smaller than delta shores but so much better overall!

4.5 STARS its sushi…read moreis very popular, so the wait can be long during peak times - around 90 minutes to 2 hours. there are three options for ayce, with different dishes included in each option. my boyfriend and i like course B because we think it's the best value, and it includes all of the nigiri, which is mostly what we like to order. we don't think course C includes enough additional items to be worth the increase in price. service is friendly, and we're always checked on often! they offered a wide selection of appetizers and hot dishes. the seafood dynamite included baby scallops and mushrooms in a mayo and sweet eel sauce mixture. i thought it was a little too heavy and wish it included other seafood besides scallops. the tako wasabi was one of the best versions of this dish i've tried, and i'm usually not a huge fan of this dish! the wasabi wasn't too strong, and the sesame seeds added such a nice flavor and texture. the sesame flavor complemented the wasabi and made it easier to eat. the monkey brain was a fried crab mix and mushrooms with spicy mayo and eel sauce. the portion was pretty big, so it was filling and heavy. the baked green mussels were very yummy! the white sauce gave it a creaminess and sweetness, and it came out super hot. the yellowtail collar was very juicy! it came with a slightly sweet soy-based sauce, and it was overall a light app. the spicy garlic edamame had a great garlicky flavor with a small kick. i liked that it came out hot, and it was a good portion! the sauce pooled at the bottom, and it was very oily, although the edamame at the bottom also had more flavor. i enjoyed the coconut flakes in the batter for the coconut shrimp tempura, which provided most of the flavor. the sauce was the same as the one served with the soft shell crab. the corn cheese was slightly sweet and cheesy, which i liked. the cheese was a little too liquidy but otherwise solid. the quality of the soft shell crab varied between different visits. i wasn't a fan of the chewy shell when it came out lukewarm, but when it came out fresh and hot, the texture was much better - crunchy and easy to eat. overall, it was seasoned well, and the lemon added freshness. the sauce was very light and thin, so i couldn't place the exact flavor. there were lots of options for sushi rolls, and they allowed half-size rolls, except for baked or 6-pc rolls. the lemon x salmon roll was one of my favorites! the lemon was thinly sliced, and the salmon was soft. it was very fresh and light. the washington roll was similar to the lemon x salmon roll in terms of brightness from the ponzu. the salmon was so soft, and there was salmon on top and inside of the roll, which i loved. it was also one of my favorite rolls, maybe more so than the lemon x salmon. the sauce on the henry roll was a little too much for me, but the lemon helped cut through it a bit. it had the typical combo of spicy mayo and eel sauce. the shrimp tempura was so crunchy! the sexy bomb roll was a regular shrimp tempura roll topped with salmon, spicy mayo, and eel sauce, but with the addition of cream cheese. again, the shrimp was crunchy, but the cream cheese was too overwhelming for me. the flavor was otherwise standard. the something wrong roll included shrimp tempura and spicy seafood mixes, including spicy soft shell crab, spicy tuna, and spicy crab mix, topped with more seafood. i liked the idea of the roll, but together, the spicy and tangy flavors were overwhelming. since it had so many components, it was also very filling! the nigiri was as good as ayce nigiri gets! we tried the tuna, garlic tuna, cajun tuna, super white tuna, salmon, xxx salmon, cajun salmon, smoked salmon, garlic salmon, salmon belly, paprika seared salmon, yuzu yellowtail, squid, spicy octopus, freshwater eel, and mayo scallop. the fish was soft and didn't taste too fishy. the fish to rice ratio was great! there was a tiny amount of rice for each nigiri, so we didn't get full on just rice. i wasn't a fan of the xxx nigiri, which came with a dollop of spicy sauce and thickly sliced jalapeno on top. i liked the seared flavor of the cajun tuna and cajun salmon, and all of the regular fish were good too. for ~$40 per person, the menu is very extensive, and we feel like it's really worth it! they offer a wide variety of appetizers and lots of great options for nigiri and rolls. we also appreciate the portion size of the dishes, which allows us to try more menu items. although a lot of the menu is tasty, the nigiri makes the price worth it alone, and we will definitely come back to its sushi whenever we're in the area!

My sister said they just had been to this location a few weeks ago. It was our first time at this restaurant. It was a different sushi restaurant after Islands restaurant closed. I see mixed reviews now that I have gone, I don't get the bad reviews. I know restaurants, service business and people can have off days. But we really enjoyed the food, the restaurant and everyone we enteracted with was very helpful. Our server was amazing and all the food runners brought out or dishes as soon as they could. Sometimes it felt like we waited awhile for different items. But some are made at the sushi station and some are made back in the kitchen. We are happy everything is made fresh. Not an all you can eat buffet where everything is pre-made and sitting out. I have noticed at other Asian type restaurants.. the staff is no-nonsense they are there to do a job. At a Very busy restaurant some smile some don't. Or server was very nice we ended up talking to her for a bit. They only offered ice cream type items for dessert. I can't have dairy. It's ok everyone else loved the ice cream. Everything tasted so very good! We are already talking about going back.

Only a few tables were occupied during my visit and they still took a few minutes to take my order. The order arrived quick but the tuna and salmon nigiri was not great, didn't taste very fresh, and they drop off the order without saying anything like they're super busy. The ambiance is odd, you can hear a lot of noise from the kitchen area, and even when they're clearing dishes off the table, it was very loud, like they were closed and no customers were around. The music is barely audible, they use harsh lighting that makes the restaurant feel even less hospitable. There's a reason why "It's Sushi" is always packed and people will wait over an hour while this place is dead on a Friday night.

I've been to a few of their other establishments years ago but it was my first time in the Roseville location. As expected around 4PM, there were quite a bit of patrons in line. Somehow since we had a smaller group, we were able to be seated immediately. The establishment itself was fairly large and fit quite a bit of people - but at this time of day it was definitely packed. I ordered the Incredible roll. Yep, lives up to it's name. Had a bit of spice to it and was very tasty. What did catch me off guard though was the pricing. Wasn't accustomed to ordering one roll that was inching toward the $30 range. Oh, how times have changed. Overall, the servers were great and food was great. I'll be back!

When our server, Mason, was made aware of the missing cream cheese, he simply asked if I wanted a side of it rather than apologizing or offering to have the roll remade. I felt like the issue was brushed off instead of properly addressed. We also ordered a bento box with sesame chicken, but the breading was excessively thick, with very little actual chicken. For the price, I expected much better food quality and portions. On top of that, our drinks weren't refilled, and the service overall felt unfriendly and inattentive. The lack of hospitality made the entire dining experience even more disappointing. Given the restaurant's prices and reputation, I expected much better food and customer service. Unfortunately, this experience fell far below my expectations, and I will not be returning to this location.

If you're looking for seriously top-tier sushi in Placer County, this is it. We've had sushi all…read moreover the area and the sashimi here is in a league of its own. The most "popular" chain doesn't even touch it. Fresh, beautifully prepared, and just so good. But, honestly? The food is only a part of the reason we keep coming back, the service is what drives it home. We got to see Tae tonight (and I say that like it's a privilege, because it is). Whether she's our actual server or just making sure our meal gets to us in a timely fashion, she is a phenomenal human, truly. The best. We love talking to her, picking her brain about the menu, and simply just being around her. She knows exactly what the jackpot menu items are and somehow has a gift for putting together a meal that feels completely fit for royalty. My advice? Live a little, you deserve this.

Part of me didn't want to write this review because I didn't want this place to get even more busy…read more But this place is the best sushi you will get in Sacramento/Placer county! I, honestly, think the sushi and sashimi are better than Kru. The fish is so tender, buttery, and will melt in your mouth. The appetizers and rolls are SUPER yummy, with good flavor combinations. And the sushi chefs, servers, and staff are friendly and professional. They really know their fish, and are happy to explain the different cuts to you. They treat their customers well, and as a result, it is obvious that they get a lot of regulars. The one down side is that they don't take reservations, and depending on the day, it can be a long wait to be seated. So, I recommend that you don't come starving. But they are good about taking down your phone number and calling you when a table is ready. When it is a long wait, we usually go to the brewery across the street to hang out, and that works well for us. The ambiance is casual, so if you are looking for a fancy dining experience, this might not be the place for you. But the food is first rate! I highly recommend!
