Lunch special
Jane H.

A bit of a bizarre dining experience. The interior decor was pretty with light wood paneling and ocean wall art. Small sushi bar at the back. No tap water was available for drinking- you had to buy their bottled water which was 50 cents. The miso soup for dine in came in the styrofoam takeout cup. Sushi plates were made out of plastic. The trio of rolls I got- spicy salmon, alaska, and eel- were good though. They had some nice lunch specials on the menu. Not sure if I'd come back due to the overall dining experience.

Maki Combo Any 3 Rolls Lunch Special; NY Steak Hibachi

We stumbled upon this place when our initial option was too full, and after our experience I can't believe how empty this place was. Firstly, this is a byob establishment so one of us stayed back to order while the other stopped by at a close by store to get some beers and seltzers. There's a very nice lunch menu with a variety of options (i think it's until 3pm) so we ordered from it. I also noticed that there were a lot of take out orders during our stay so that's an option if you don't want to make the trip. We started with the maki combo rolls any 3 special sushi and it tasted great and fresh! I especially enjoyed the spicy tuna and eel rolls. Next, we got the NY steak hibachi, which came with some vegetables and rice on the side. Then we tried the tatsusa-age which tasted like nuggets but slightly crunchier. We enjoyed all our orders and left very satisfied. Our waiter was super fast with all our orders and was very attentive. There was also a lot more on the menu that we didn't even get to, the options are very wide here! Definitely stop by for some amazing and affordable lunch options if you're in the area!

Yessssssss, they've been open about a month so far and I have nothing but good things to say! They have a giant menu online if you are looking to eat. The doordash/grubhub menu is a short version of all their options. I've ordered the same thing twice now because it was so good the first time. The first time we doordashed and the sushi was great. The second time we ordered I went and picked it up because I wanted to see this place for myself. It was super cute and clean inside! Ps: if you call and order the prices are much better than what is on grubhub/doordash. I saved $10 before the delivery fee by picking it up myself!.. Doordash costs upwards of $17 more dollars.

Sashimi Lunch Special

Great fresh sushi. Started with the takoyaki, and got the sashimi sampler. Friends got the ramen, which was also good. Overall, fresh ingredients and nice chill environment. The pricing is also fair for what you are getting. About $15 for the sashimi and $15 for a bowl or ramen. Love tax free Delaware! If I was craving sushi and was on Delaware campus, this is the place I'd go.

Spring rolls

The three of us got a roll, spring rolls, and a Cajun combo with shrimp and scallops with the restaurant's house sauce to split. We were HUNGRY and thought we'd be good with just this but after the 1 bag of seafood that came with 0.5 pounds of sausage, two corn cobs, and two potatoes, we were still hungry and ordered another Cajun combo with mussels and shrimp (we also asked for more potato and corn). Altogether, the price was still very affordable for all that food, and the sauce was so flavorful! I would highly recommend coming here with a friend or family or even date outing!

I ordered the chicken fajitas with no peppers, only to be told that they coudn't accomodate that request. Apparently they don't cut their own onions & peppers anymore, it comes in as a mix. I'm sorry, but if someone orders no peppers, accomodate them. The fajitas came out not sizzling and stuck to the cast iron skillet. Chicken was lukewarm so it was sitting in the kitchen for a bit. The tortillas used to be in a basket wrapped in a napkin to keep them warm & soft. Not anymore. They came on the skillet with the lukewarm chicken & they were hard around the edges. More evidence of food just sitting around. I loved the chicken fajitas there, that place was what made me even like fajitas. Unfortunately, they have lost me as a customer. They've even changed the way the do the tortilla chips. I don't think they're homemade anymore. They taste like they were dumped out of a bag into a basket. I'm sure these decisions were made to save money. Well, in an attempt to save money, you have sacrificed the quality of the food. Horrible!!!!!

We wanted seafood for lunch and found this place pretty easily after a quick search. Entered the…read morerestaurant and it was empty, however it was a bit of a wait before we were greeted as there was no one at the hostess stand or on the floor. We had to wave down the chef in the kitchen and she was able to alert someone that we were there! Happy that we stayed because the peek in the kitchen we were able to see fresh bread being made and food being prepared that I wanted to eat! After this experience in the beginning, it was all uphill from there from the service of our waitress the big booth seats to the food experience. The only thing we did not enjoy was the French onion soup, which was kind of flavorless, but we took it to go, and I will definitely doctor it up and eat it later for sure. Go here!

The last time, and I mean the last time, I went alone. The place was empty, only a few seniors there eating. my server was slow, and my food was the worse. I spent a small fortune with an appetizer and main entree... I left so disappointed that I spent about $75 was charged a service fee for using my debt card, and I did not enjoy any of my food.
