I had issues with my car for awhile , just couldn't quite fix it our selfs ( is the newer diesel technology in it) we were referred by my mother in law , who happened to know the owner from her college days and spoke highly of him. We called made an appointment, was able to drop the car off days prior to the appointment in case they could to it sooner ( since it had to be trailed ) very nice front desk guy upon drop off! Within 2 days we got a call, they had it fixed, and they wanted to drive it some more so they felt 100% it was going home perfect! Long story short, when picking up car , very nice gentleman at the front desk ( different one from before). I'm so beyond thankful for a shop and crew that is confident in their work! They are very fair with their prices to their customers, for the price we paid to fix my car I would have paid that over and over again! I live on a limited income and feared that it was going to be a major repair. When I got there, the owner used a computer device that could diagnose the problem and discovered that it was not a major problem so I drove it down to LA and back without any problems. I had an appointment the morning after I returned and he had it fixed 90 minutes after my appointment. To my surprise, he charged me his regular hourly labor fee and the cost of the part that was $2.50. He even repaired the clock on my dashboard that hasn't worked since I bought it. Not only is he a knowledgeable mechanic but is honest and that is a rare quality with auto mechanics in Atascadero.
