I cam with my gf car today. I usually take mine to my mechanic since they know my vehicle inside and out. I sit outside with the umbrellas they provide at the tables. Read a book or two and relax. Look at the cars or motorcycles going 90 mph getting on the freeway. Staff was very friendly today. read more

During a rode trip I had to stop for a quick oil change and I stopped in Salinas CA, there I made it to a Jiffy Lube where they left a bottom flap unscrewed and it continued to make noise until I was on the way back from Buellton CA, when I was on the rode driving around Atascadero CA a very generous man named Jaines Colona flagged me down on the freeway and convinced me to go to a body shop he worked at so he could put the screws back on the bottom flap of my car. Everyone was so helpful and they checked that all my cars necessary functions were operational and when I asked for how much it was Jaines said he didn't want to charge me. I want to thank Jaines and everyone on the crew for being so generous and professional. read more

The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Drive through service is quick and convenient

Went for a oil change, and of coarse they try to sell you everything they do. Told me air filter needed to be replaced there was a nest in there, told him no, tried to sell me oil additive I told him no. The girl comes up for me to pay, then guides me out. she then gives me the receipt, I get home read the bill it says high mileage additive 22.00. Called and told them I will never go back. What a way to do business, It used to be cabin filters now its oil additive. read more

A new experience for me to sit in my car, no need to exit the vehicle which was a good way to see how well they work as a team. Caleb was so professional and courteous there's no reason I wouldn't be back. Thank you all for the great work. read more

After jiffy lube in SLO left the oil pan screw loose--lots of garage oil to clean up the next day--I swore off these budget mechanics. But this place is professional, clean, no contact, no upsell on the extras (who knew there were so many air filters?) and they seem to be good at this car stuff. read more

Kevin, The guy who checks you in, manager, is very helpful. I come here often with a couple vehicles for oil changes. I bring my own oil & filter and pay $50.00 for labor. Today Kevin helped find the oil leak on our Jetta. He steered me in the right direction to get it repaired. Thank you ! read more

Got a great 2nd opinion from Jaines and discovered another local business was trying to rip me off. He demonstrated how the issue was being overblown and waited while I took a quick drive to test his theory. He was right and I didn't need to cancel a trip or spend anything close to the $600 the other national brand store estimated. I'll definitely be coming here again since they've proven to be trustworthy and willing to take the time with you. Priceless! read more

the employees were great. I had no wait time for them to get going on the oil change and smog check. They had me going with 45 minute.

Ben and the guys at the Paso Robles shop have been very responsive to my needs.....fast, professional and take time to listen and explain services....prices are comparable to the area ....and the service is a step above..... read more

The managers goal is to charge you as much as possible. I called in advance to get a quote and upon checkout, they have now started charging for the removal of a stock skid plate which takes 10 seconds. Upon questioning the charges, the manager did not provide any good reasoning for the new add on charges. He is not a people person and would not even entertain my questions. This place is a scam under their leadership. Taking my business, 4 cars, elsewhere. read more

As others have noted, be prepared for a bunch of upcharges resulting in a crazy expensive oil change. I brought my sedan in for a routine oil change, and was quoted ~$60. They ended up charging me $100 total due to various upcharges for synthetic oil. They weren't up-front about any of this. The next time my car was due, I took it to Jiffy Lube & paid $50 for the same service. Lesson learned. read more

CUSTOMERS BEWARE: After utilizing this facility for years for our work truck and our family services our daughters car began leaking oil after being serviced here. We brought it back in and was told it was the oil pan. We took our car to the dealership and low and behold it was the oil filter that was not installed correctly. Lube n go refused any responsibility. They are incapable of providing quality services. Our son brought his car here and left with the oil light still on and dirty oil. If you want A reliable service this is NOT the business you want to deal with! POOR BUSINESS ETHICS, don't waste your money and save your cars life by taking your vehicle anywhere else but here!!! read more

I have been coming here for 12 years, and I just had an unexpected gross experience. I took my car in because my oil reminder came on , the man came out and tried to upswell me and was beyond rude when I declined ( unfortunately this happens to women all the time). The manager came out and questioned me about my car, I thought this was odd. He asked where I had other services done and badgered me as to why I didn't have them done with them ??? WTH They didn't reset my service light to boot So I am giving them the boot do better treat women with respect read more

I brought my 2500 GMC to get an oil change. As I pulled into the bay I was told to stay in my truck because there were new owners and that was their policy. He said he wouldn't take more than 20 min. Very odd start! He asked me my mileage and I told him 225000. He said he needed the exact mileage, so I read to him 225,224. A few minutes later he gave me a sticker that read 300,000. I brought it to his attention and he made me a new one. They finally finished and I proceeded to go gas it up for the week. Something seemed strange, so I popped the hood and checked my power steering fluid as well as my coolant level. They were both extremely low. I checked my paper work to see if they addressed those issues. And it said they had. I drove my truck back and showed the manager. He said he would take care of it. Then he proceeded to tell me the gentleman that took care of me was new. Needless to say to say it could have created a more serious problem if gone unnoticed. I would definitely not recommend them! Nice but incompetent. read more

This is one of those places where you have to be careful with the upsells. I had literally changed my air filter 1 day earlier, TOLD them I changed my air filter, and they still tried to sell me an air filter. I haven't been back since. When I changed my oil myself the next time, they had gone to absolute town on the drain plug. better than too loose I guess, but come on. Are they using an impact to put the drain plug back on? It's not particularly cheap, nor fast. So I guess, if I had to get my oil changed, I wouldn't refuse to go there, but they won't be earning any gold stars from the teacher. read more

Kudos to Joe and his team!! There was an issue with my wife's brakes that wasn't resolved properly however Joe, the owner a nice guy came down and talk to us in person and resolved the problem. I was so happy with these guys! They went above and beyond the call of duty. My car had rodents climbing up into the engine at night time and when I went to get the oil changed the engine compartment was disaster. They made it looks great when they were done at no extra charge. They were courteous, very efficient, and knowledgeable and very professional unlike the other oil change place down the street who could not take the time to make sure my car even had coolant in it! I will always go to lube n go from now on. Thank you guys for doing such an amazing job! read more

My wife took her car in and got the oil changed. The next day there was oil all over the driveway. She called and Bud, who I think is the manager, came and worked on her car from 4ish until 8pm trying to figure out what was up. Turns out it was not their fault. The dipstick holder became unseated and caused oil to leak. It was only when they pulled the dipstick that it became unseated. I came home ready to rain hellfire on these guys but it wasn't their fault. He refilled the oil, fixed the dipstick holder, gave us some extra oil, sprayed degreaser on the driveway and offered to come back Saturday and pressure wash the driveway. Hell of a good guy. I'll be a customer for life because of his generosity and kindness. Highly recommend! read more

My husband and I recently moved our vehicles over to this location after the Toyota service center closed in Paso. These guys have been awesome. Their honest, do great work, don't try to bs for extras and are super nice. Not to mention the car wash with a service is such a nice addition. Aside from above, I even had a technician walk across the driveway to help me with groceries when I was heading back from Vons with arms loaded up. Thank you! read more

I'd bet the Atascadero owners read these even though they lack the courage to claim this Yelp space. All patrons want is an oil & filter change yet what we get is up sold on shit we don't need and due to this the staff forgets to fill fluids making the patron come back to get done what we pay for. This place was great when it started. read more

This is the first time I've ventured from the dealer for an oil change for my newer Volvo. Admittedly, I was unsure, but I know they are locally owned and wanted to give them a try. I was happy on how they were so quick and inexpensive my oil change was. Very professional and kind staff men

I cannot say enough positive things about Tim at Lube n' Go in Atascadero. I took my truck for an oil change, he greeted me immediately, was very pleasant and respectful. He consulted CarFax and found that it was due a few other services. He did not try to sell me those services just advised that they were due, and answered my questions. I opted to have them performed also. I felt pricing for everything done was appropriate. I told Tim to tell his Mom that she did a good job raising him! read more

So I get a dash message on Cuesta Grade that my trailer is disconnected! Pulled into Lube N Go off the freeway and the Manager Kevin said it was a wire that came loose. I waited for 2 hours for a smog check for them to tell me that they can't get their equipment to communicate to the state for my smog. 2 HOURS. Nobody has time to wait 2 hours to be told that their equipment doesn't work. And to top it off they offered me a free car wash for the inconvenience. After charging me $80 for an oil change and tire rotation. SO UNHAPPY!! Edit: the owner called me and explained the situation to me more thoroughly. Super nice and professional I like them again! read more

Excellent service and friendly staff. + locally owned and you can tell they care about their clients.

Have been going to Lube N Go off and on, but lousy service today. I specifically asked them to fill my tires and they did not. They also didn't vacuum either. Super expensive and you'd think they'd do everything they promise with their service. Won't go back read more

I have used this Lube N Go over the years whenever I need a quick oil change on the weekend and it was always hit or miss on service. But I struck the A-team yesterday when I came back a couple days after an oil change because there was a coolant leak. They quickly found the problem (that was not related to the oil change) got me a quick and competitive quote to replace my radiator and had it done in a couple hours. I did not get the name of the manager but he was fantastic. I also want to highlight Ben as a technician that exemplifies friendly customer care, hard work ethic and a lot of pride about his work. read more

They made a mistake and did a great job in making things right. Doing what is best for the customer, well done!

I brought my truck in for a tire rotation, and they informed me of brake pad wear and rotor damage. This was near closing time, but Miguel hooked me up! He ordered the parts, he and his coworker stayed late, and they fixed it right up for a fair price. Gave me a free car wash pass, too. All with a good demeanor and a smile on his face! Thanks Miguel! P.S. Miguel and his staff deserve praise and a raise (or at least a bonus!) read more

I have always had great experience with this Lube N Go. The staff treats me like family and has all my records up to date. Since I service 4 vehicles, it's easy to know where to go for honest service. They not only do all fluid changes (much less than the dealers on my newer vehicles) but also smog and brakes. They also have great coffee and a lounge which is quite comfortable, with a big TV, video game and massage chair. There's a Von's grocery store nearby for doing a quick run to the store if needed while having the oil changed. Best reason why I switched to this company from the name brand one down the street is: They are not pushy salesmen. They give you recommendations on service and don't push you into service without your ok. 5 stars from Phish. read more
