I am super happy with the results of the new oil, brake fluid replacement, and repair of the front end area of my Honda Element. I came in for an overdue oil change (per normal) but I knew (as well as anyone who was near my car) I was getting close to my breaks needing to be done. They were able to get them both done same day but it took a while. Nothing wrong with that, it's a more extensive service. They had a Keurig in the lobby with a few choices to pick from. Thankfully they also had a phone charger because I came in with less than 20%. All the above stuff is great but what brought me to write the review was Gene! He hasn't even interacted with me yet but his guest service is great! A woman came in to redeem a coupon on an earlier service, he handled it no problem and like a pro! He also made sure everyone he's checked out has the option to pick out an air freshener, knows about the $25 gift card offer, and he asked everyone out to their card. ** Visited on Sunday, June 23rd '24 Did my oil change and called in ahead of time to see the waiting time. Once I got there, there was an open port and got my car in right away. The entire service took about 30 minutes, and I was out of the door. The oil change and vehicle inspection costed about $130 total and was super quick. Although I live less than two miles from the Paso location, I'd been using the A-town location for two years for oil changes, because it had more positive reviews. No more. My last oil change at this location included a cabin air filter they tore, telling me I needed a new one, and they insisted Hyundai recommends changing the fuel filter at 40k miles. I checked my owners manual and maintenance log: they make no such recommendation. They also tried to sell me tires, but I found a set at Walmart that saved me $200. In the tire replacement process, they promised to call me back in a few minutes three different times, with no follow up calls. Watch out for up-sells here! read more

I went here for an Uber Vehicle Inspection. They gave me false results claiming that both of my front tires were bad, trying to convince me to buy new tires from them, so that I wouldn't have to pay for the Uber Vehicle Inspection again. My tires were under warranty, so I went to America's Tire, where they had different findings, far from Atascadero Jiffy Lube "test results". I could claim warranty for one tire, but not both. I went to Paso Robles Jiffy Lube and their results were the same as America's Tire (see pictures), so I replaced one tire and finished Uber Vehicle Inspection with them. I then went to Atascadero Jiffy Lube, asking for a refund for them trying to scam me into buying two new tires from them by presenting false results on my Uber Vehicle Inspection, but they refused. I contacted SLO County Jiffy Lube Franchisee, Sean Porcher, and he promised a refund, but then ignored any further communication and never refunded me. read more

Wow ! These guys are bad. When I checked out they told me all my tires checked out at 35 psi. When I pulled out I noticed the low pressure sensor was the same. When I got home I noticed the oil filter I bought to have them install was still in the car. Also after a few hundred miles the oil filter was so loose that it was spewing out oil all over the driveway. I am lucky to have caught it when I did. They cost me a lot of money, and time because of their incompetence. Do not trust these people with your car. read more

The WORST place I have ever been to. Gave me the completely wrong battery for my car and now it's been months of me asking for a refund. Don't take your car here, these people have no clue what they're doing when it comes to mechanical work. A girl named Casey was the one who put in the wrong battery and she still works there. I finally contacted corporate jiffy lube and they escalated the situation and now I'm supposed to receive a call from the Atascadero store within 72 hours. The store told my boyfriend that the battery wasn't under warranty anymore. That shouldn't matter because #1 I gave the battery back to them and #2 IT WAS THE WRONG BATTERY IN THE FIRST PLACE. I got an oil change and tire rotation on Saturday and on Sunday my tire light came on and my tires pressure was 24 psi on all tires, my receipt said they had reset all tires to 35psi. I guess I need to check to see if any work got done. read more

I ordered my tires online and got them sent to the establishment. They were supposed to call me to notify me they came in and did not. I called to confirm and I was told to come in at 11. The technician that was supposed to put on the tires was at lunch and cited "a miscommunication" so another one stepped in. It took them 2hrs and 40 minutes to do the job. There were 4 employees working and the one that was putting on my tires was doing everything from my tires to checking out other customers. There were only 2 positive comments I can make. My tech was very nice with a positive disposition and the business took off 20% of my cost because of the time my daughter and I spent waiting. read more

This was a nice convenient and good spot for an oil change. They didn't give me a hard time up a lot of upsell options and didn't push anything on me with much effort. I came in for an oil change, there was an open bay. I was in and out in about 20 minutes, which is just what I needed. No hassle or fuss. Can't complain and until I start changing my oil again I would come back here in the future. The inside seating area was a bit drafty and cold, but there was coffee, a TV (playing TV too loud), and bathrooms. It's fine for s short stop and a simple procedure. Horrible! First off too expensive. Main guy told me I needed four new brake pads and that they were at a 3mm which is bad and even gave me a quote. I told him that's crazy I just got new pads on the back axil not even a year ago.. Anyways I went to Anthony's tire shop is Paso Robles ( they are the best and are very honest). And made an appointment with them for my brakes... they told me that I did not need them and my back brakes were still new and front were still good for another 20,000 miles! Jiffy lube are scammers and are not honest and try to sell you things you don't need. I will never go there again. Oh yeah, they also forgot my windshield wiper fluid. I just left there. Went for an oil change and tire rotation. I always go to Jiffy lube in different locations. In San Bernardino at Jiffy lube the oil change cost $59.99. In Atascadero it cost $99.99 the oil cost more here? They said that I needed an air filter. It cost $26.00 plus an undisclosed install fee of $14.99 they opened the air filter cavity to inspect the old filter and it cost extra $14.99 to put a filter back in? The worker told me that it was a franchise and this one charges more. And then Carlos mentioned minimum wage and that the consumer needs to pay for this by charging undisclosed cost. First let me tell you that I took my car in for a service and about a month later my engine light came on and my oil pressure was low. I checked the oil and it was empty!! I brought it back to Jiffy and explained what happened ! The young man said they would check it out. So apparently the oil filter had a defective casket and oil was leaking out of it. I went into Jiffy Lube yesterday 11/25/2019 for an oil change. They said my back breaks needed immediate attention and let me know that they change brakes. I declined wanting to have our regular Mechanic Ernie at Tire King take a look thinking they definitely needed to be changed before our out of town trip. They told me my break fluid was fine, my tire psa was set at 33, factory recommended setting. Today I visited Ernie at Tire King and was told I still have 25% on my back brakes and 70% in the front. He also topped of my my brake fluid, Jiffy Lube said I didn't need it and set my tires at the proper psa of 33. Jiffy Lube set it all around 25 psa. Being a woman, they really tried to mess with me. I find it unacceptable to take my car in for service and find out they were incorrect in too many areas. Not To Be Trusted Thank You Ernie at Tire King, integrity means a lot to me-and many others. I came in on my lunch hour to get my oil changed as I'm heading down to LA this weekend. I chose Jiffy Lube since it was right down street and I was expecting that I might have to walk back to work after dropping my car off. When I drove up one of the workers immediately greeted me and took my car into the shop. He went through all of what they would do during the service (oil change and tire rotation). He was very informative. With my Groupon it wasn't very expensive at all, maybe $50. They also vacuumed the carpets, cleaned the windshield, checked all my fluids and filled up my tires. This was all done in about 30 minutes! Much faster than I expected. They were very efficient and friendly, and made sure to let me know where the restroom is and that there was free coffee and water. I went to the Jiffy Lube in Atascadero last week for an oil change. I watched the 3 people working there closely this time. The one who was assigned to do the oil change seemed to work the computer OK so I was not worried about that. The one assigned to vacuum the inside took the hose close to the car but nothing was done inside the car. I don't know which one checked the tire pressure but when I left I felt like I was driving on old fashion hard tires. This week I went into a tire store and had them check the pressure. All tires were over filled and each had a different reading. Please folks watch this un-trained crew very closely. I will never return to a Jiffy Lube again. Don't assume the people know what they are doing. Question everything before you leave. I was not feeling well and I ended up with a mess. They also left a mess of greasy hands on the door opening. STORY: I just came for an oil change and was told to put my car keys on my car seat...so I did. Unfortunately...I also locked the car and shut my door all in one quick motion, I just wasn't thinking. The employees face was priceless! He was in awe of what just happened...as was I. They helped me out by calling a company to open my window and retrieve my keys.
