BEST poke I've ever had. Sooo incredibly fresh and tasty and at a great price point. Don't let its location fool you. This was soo good and i will absolutely be returning before the end of my trip

Shared dining area with the other businesses in the food court

Fresh poke! You have a selection of poke style; poke bowls are customizable: you can choose a base of sushi rice, sushi rice + salad, or salad. You also have sauces to choose from and you can ask to have the sauce on the side for an additional 25 cents. Poke bowls are made to order. I ordered the Hawaiian style poke ($15) with Spicy Mayo and Unagi sauces on the side (additional 25¢) and sushi rice as a base. Rice was perfectly cooked. The place is located in a food court in the second floor of McCully Shopping Center. Dining tables are shared with the other businesses in the food court. I went in on a Wednesday noon in July and the place was not busy at all. There were two other parties/individuals that were there when I was.

Super fresh poke, good quality fish that melts in your mouth, and buttery soft. Good portion size and everything was delicious.

Best poke on the island. Still. Been a customer for years and she is still the best. Consistently.

Hawaiian style ahi

Found this recommendation on Yelp and so glad I did! The ahi melts in your mouth and the rice is seasoned to perfection. The portion size is appropriate and the price is reasonable. The only thing I would change if I was ordering again would be to ask for more cucumbers. The crunch is fantastic next to the smoothness of the ahi

Amazing quality poke. Their combo is a must. Everything is always fresh and is too good. Yum!!

Great Poke and always fresh every time we come here. Get their combo you can't go wrong with it. Yum!!!

Amazing! The reviews did not disappoint. I am writing this review as I eat my bowl. I deliberately passed several other poke spots on the mile long journey here. Raw fish needs to be fresh, and Ohana Poke House delivers on that guiding principle. The food is seasoned immaculately as well. Overall, just a tasty bowl of better. Far better than I had on Maui and anywhere in California. Would recommend. Know that sauces are extra. You likely spend around $20/bowl. Expect to spend upwards of $25 if you want extra toppings such as avocado, seaweed salad, and so on.

Masago ahi (left), spicy shoyu salmon (top), wasabi salmon (right) -- all with all complimentary toppings

Tasty, well seasoned poke. Sushi rice was perfectly cooked (not mushy) and they have complimentary toppings like limu and sea asparagus - spicy shoyu salmon: seasoned well - wasabi salmon: we liked the kick of wasabi and it was not overwhelming - masago ahi: nice change from all the shoyu based seasoning to have the salt seasoning - Hawaiian salmon: slightly sweet to add to the savory. We understand why it's the most popular here Portions are on the smaller side but you get fresh, tasty fish! Casual sit down

They occasionally offer salmon as well! Obviously the dining ambiance is prolly the downside as it's a simple outdoor patio in front of the venue, but hey it does the job! We got their combo of Wasabi Ahi and Spicy Salmon, both of which we really love. I might like the sauce from the other well known place tad better, but would say this one was certainly delectable!

On this latest visit we decided to get the wasabi ahi and the spicy ahi. Both were really good but the wasabi was the one for me. We got the two selection combo, which we shared, but honestly I could've eaten this whole thing on my own no problem. The ahi tasted super fresh and since we got there right when they opened, it was even better. They have a small parking lot with just a handful of spots. Getting there early, parking wasn't a problem at all. They have some tables outside so we were able to eat it there before taking off for the airport. Definitely more of a takeout spot. We didn't spend much time in the area, so it was the last meal we had before taking off to the airport and I couldn't think of a better meal to end an amazing trip. If I was staying nearby, I definitely would've come here more than once!

However, the flavors were balanced, and the freshness was evident from the non-slimy texture and meatiness of the ahi. The salad was a refreshing complement to the poke. The optional toppings (I said yes to all) added more crunch and flavor without overwhelming the star of the dish, aka the lovely tuna. The shop seemed tiny. You order at the front door/window where you can see the menu and the display case of the very few poke options offered. Staff worked quickly, as my order was basically ready after paying. Only outdoor seating directly in front of the shop was provided, but luckily we beat the lunch rush and got two tables for our group. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. I'd definitely come back for the poke. Location was in a quiet part of Honolulu that seemed to have some small-town vibes. We parked in the free lot across the street where the McD's was.

Large Poke Bowl with Hawaiian and Creamy Sesame Sauce and Large Poke Bowl with Spicy Mayo (4/5): The tuna was the absolute standout and tasted incredibly fresh, pairing beautifully with the mix of Hawaiian and Creamy Sesame sauces that soaked perfectly into the rice. While the spicy mayo bowl offered a solid, comforting option with a great kick, the locally caught blue marlin didn't carry much flavor on its own and relied heavily on the sauce. The shrimp was a great addition for variety. Logistics Tip: Don't let the line intimidate you, as it moves incredibly fast and your food is ready in minutes. Just keep in mind that seating is limited to a few outdoor spots, so you may need to take it to go. Note that toppings are priced a la carte unless you go with one of their prebuilt signature bowls.

For the poke bowls, we got the Spicy Shoyu Ahi, Furikake Salmon, and Ultimate. Overall, they were pretty good and decent bowls. I liked that there was a condiment bar at the end to add any toppings you wanted. The fish was fresh and well seasoned, with no fishiness at all. I just wished there was a bit more white onion for crunch, but it was good regardless. The Fish and Chips were really good. The fish was super crispy, the meat was firm, and the fries were nicely fried. The tartar sauce or maybe more of a lemony aioli, was the star. It wasn't your usual tartar sauce; it had a homemade lemony sweetness that made it delicious. My only complaint was that the batter came off the fish pretty easily, which made it a bit tricky to eat at times.
