Additionally, the prices you see on the menu don't reflect the price you'll pay as there is an additional charge for the ahi (based on market price which was about $2.75 a scoop). Only if you're taking your food to go, would I ever suggest this place because the price was good for the food in the center of the high history but it's off of back alley and you're looking at a parking garage if you need to sit down and eat right then. Also, they were out of salmon "for the rest of the month". Bizarre. The worst part... An unpleasant surprise awaits you when you approach the counter to order your food: a ~$2.50 charge PER SCOOP of poke on top of the already aggressive displayed price on the menu! You've already waited 20+ minutes, so walking away doesn't feel right. This feels borderline unethical and leaves a very bad taste in the mouth, metaphorically speaking. Given all this, I would recommend just going to Foodland to get poke. You'll get similar quality at much more reasonable prices. read more
