This is not the best taco joint in which I've ever eaten. In fact, it may not even be the best taco joint in downtown Sandusky. BUT... This place is cool, fun, has a great drink selection, has great atmosphere and has great views of Sandusky bay. AND... The food and service are pretty good too. I, personally, would skip the carne asada taco, but EVERY other taco was, yeah, you guessed it, pretty good. If I gave OH Taco less than 5 stars, my kids would disown me.

Thank you so much for being open on Thanksgiving. We decided to spend the holiday at a local water park and needed to get away for some food. We came into town and saw this cute , fun place was open. They had beer specials and we were able to get a great meal for a decent price. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. It is somewhat confusing, is it a hotel, is it a bar, so they have food - the answers are yes! We loved the way the place was laid out and they had a ton of liquor to choose from. I would love to come back and sit on their patio to watch the boats come in.

We had dinner here this evening and it was great. Last time we wanted tacos In Sandusky we tried Barra and Oh Taco was so much better!! Our server Gabby was fun and attentive, my sons adored her. We had fiesta fries, chicken tortilla soup, chicken and chorizo mulitas. We also tried the gringo, barbacoa, and chorizo tacos. Their salsa verde is fresh and delicious.

Nachos with pico really good

We were on a bar crawl in Sandusky this was one of the bars on the route. The bartenders were super friendly and with it being crazy busy on a Saturday night we got our drinks and food pretty quick. I ordered some nachos with pico the pico was really good. Another person at our table ordered the queso chips the queso was really good as well. After while we decided to grab some tacos. I tried the carnitas, would recommend. So, so good and they come with coleslaw on top. The price point isn't bad and they have tons of tables as well as bar seating. If I'm ever in Sandusky I'm definitely coming back for some tacos. They have a really cute little shop up front as well.

Besides all the sketchy bars, Sandusky has a few good food options downtown. It actually has a few Mexican restaurants here. OH Taco is another one of these places. Food is fresh. They have some great drinks to go with these fresh tacos. I was out taking a stroll and just came in. It's located in the one building. You go through the lobby to get there. It has a few daily specials. Of course there's Taco Tuesday. I'm required to have a drink with Mexican food. They have a range of cheaper to more expensive stuff. I had a tequila and mango. The taco menu is simple. I got the Poblano Y Portobello. It's $4, which is kind of much for a small one like this. There wasn't that much toppings. It's $8 for a tostada, which is bigger. This is on a full tortilla. I would like to try more of the other items. Maybe they're even better than the signature tacos. They certainly may get you more of a value.

Yesterday I went to OH Taco and I have a few issues about it. I had asked for the smoothest salsa with our chips and it was the chunkiest Salsa I have ever seen.My taco meat was good but the shell was bad and it was very below what I expected. One thing that was very good was the guacamole it tasted so good. I got churros for dessert and they were not coated with enough cinnamon sugar so all I could taste was the dough. Overall this is why I give this place 3 stars.

Tacos are something that's near and dear to my heart as I've grown up with many taqueria's that I would frequent on a weekly basis because Mexican food is life when your from Orange County. Coming here I was like they have a Taco Tuesday that's what's up as it's like not a thing in Ohio mostly because it seems people don't know about it or something but that's not the case here as they are turning out $1 tacos on Tuesday with the choice of either chicken or ground beef to make it all good! Of the taco Tuesday tacos I went with ground beef and the chicken ones just to see what was better the ground beef one not so much as I didn't really dig the flavor of it the chicken one however was much better and more like a taco I would be into and it's also the reason we came back for another week of tacos because it just kinda reminds me of home in a way. The margaritas here are decent they are a bit pricey for what you can find for taco Tuesday but if you wanna have a drink then I'm sure it won't stop you! The other tacos we ordered was the 3 taco combo that came with a carne asada, pollo, & carnitas of these i again enjoyed the chicken one as it was just the better of all of them the carnitas was kinda blah and just boring the asada one was like a slab of meat which I haven't seen done before so I was like okay but hey it's Ohio and they aren't doing that bad of a job for it. The chips and salsa were decent the pico salsa was not spicy at all being it was mostly tomatoes the chips were good when they came together with the salsa either way it was kinda whack we had to order this as I really don't think I've ever been to a Mexican restaurant where they just don't give it to you! They have a check-in offer so don't forget to check-in so you can get a free goodie! Overall decent tacos for Ohio would this place last in Cali I'm definitely going to say no it wouldn't as them being here in the upper part of middle America is basically why I'm saying what I have said! Either way I'm sure we might come back again for another taco Tuesday as there just really isn't many places around here doing it!

If tequila is your thing; Oh Taco is your place.

This review is for cocktails and snacks at the bar on Saturday night over Thanksgiving weekend. service: Our server was Precious, if I got that right. She was knowledgeable and helpful. Food runners and other bar staff were professional, if somewhat busy. bar: Nice draft list. Lots of regional choices. Ithica's Cousin Eddie IPA was solid. My wife drank their Volstead Traditional Margarita, which is now highly recommended. Check out the tequila list. If tequila is your thing; Oh Taco is your place. But, remember what Tom Robbins wrote in "Still Life with Woodpecker", "Tequila, scorpion honey, harsh dew of the doglands, essence of Aztec, crema de cacti; tequila, oily and thermal like the sun in solution; tequila, liquid geometry of passion; Tequila, the buzzard God who copulates in midair with the ascending souls of dying virgins; tequila, firebug in the house of good taste; O tequila, savage water of sorcery, what confusion and mischief your sly, rebellious drops do generate!" You've been warned. food: Chips and salsa for $4, ground beef gringo taco for $3, and chorizo specialty taco for $4 were our choices. Enough for snacking. You can have corn or flour tortilla for your tortillas. Pro tip is flour, they hold up better. details: Boisterous is correct adjective for the crowd. It was the first snow of the season. Maybe that contributed to the lively mood? Lots of patrons seemed to know each other and the staff. Sometimes this can be a good thing, but was not exactly our vibe so we decided to push on to Moseley's upstairs.

Avocado toast

Visiting Ohio from Miami, we had low expectations for a good Mexican brunch. We were surprisingly very wrong. $2 mimosas on Sunday with a huge variety of flavors. The grapefruit was my favorite and the glasses were super cute. I got the avocado toast with chipotle sauce which was very good but SUPER spicy. I love spicy and thought it was pretty hot. We sat out on the patio for a lake view and there were bees EVERYWHERE. I guess it's an Ohio thing but they really loved mimosas so be warned lol. Worth checking out if you're in the area.

Don't go here with a family. We thought it would be family friendly but was just a bar. Walked in and walked back out on a Monday night

Absolutely incredible location and facility. The food is phenomenal and the service matches. Not…read moresure why some imbicile left a 3 star review for slow service, but in every town you'll find at least one unpleasant keyboard warrior. Do yourself a favor and take a detour from route 250 and dine at this family owned I dependent restaurant. I have a background in the business and can very clearly see the owners dedication to the quality of his ingredients. As a huge bonus, the service is far superior to anything you might find on 250. Everyone is friendly from the Owner to the Sushi Chef to the servers even the behind the scenes staff. Their menu will please any diet from meat eater to vegan and from carb lover to gluten free. The sushi chefs are not pretentious and this would be a great place to try sushi fir the first time and ask questions if you're not familiar. Joe is one of the Chefs and he very patiently answered several of my ingredient questions. . While the outdoor dining is preferable, my visit in today showed some off season deals for the holidays. Not sure how they are doing deals like that but I'm all about it. A sincere thank you to the owner for investing in downtown Sandusky and for offering a diverse menu which is not easily found here.
