What a gem I found! I was at cedar point and refused to get Starbucks, so this was 10 mins out and it was a lifesaver. It was so delicious, the service was great, I had a great conversation with Mads while waiting on my coffee. This will now be my coffee spot every time I go to cedar point!

Pleasant place to peruse a book and have a coffee.

Come on down and get your coffee. (Or a good Bloody Mary). Bring your laptop for work or just grab a book of the shelf for a good read. ( Didn't get it finished? Ah well you can buy it for a song!) Definitely try a specialty coffee for a welcomed treat.

The Sandusky book bar is awesome! Their coffee quality is very consistent and it's hard to beat the relaxing and spacious atmosphere. It's a balanced place with alcohol, coffee & eats. They also support local authors and local businesses which I really love. The owner is down to earth as well! The Sandusky Book Bar is a must go location for locals and tourists alike! My go to is the Golden Hour iced with Oatmilk

What an oasis with coffee, blooms and books. A must stop for refreshments and a pursue through the stacks.

Great coffee, yummy bagel that was shared with my son. It was nice to browse through your book collection.

Service and ambiance are great! A really good vibe. Coffee smells great, but I was there for the bourbon tasting. Highly recommend.

The location has a cool, eclectic vibe thanks to the owners' creative touch; they specialize in refurbishing materials into one-of-a-kind furniture and decor. While the food menu is limited, we have enjoyed everything we tried. Outside there is a piano on the patio and live music often fills the air. Overall it is a great hangout that will surround you with creativity.

My husband, who is extremely picky about meat quality, declared it the best burger he's ever had. Stuffed burgers are notoriously tricky to cook to a preferred well-done without drying out, but the kitchen nailed it! My only minor critique--and this is just personal preference as a bit of a seasoning buff--is the perch. The fish itself was amazingly fresh, which is the most important detail, but the fried batter was a little plain for my taste. I would've loved a kick of Old Bay or extra seasoning in the batter, similar to how amazingly seasoned the fries were! All in all, this spot is a great hidden gem in Sandusky. Highly recommend stopping in!

The food was great, waiting for it... Not so good…read more To be fair, it was packed on a Friday night. We waited 45 minutes to get a salad, it was a Caesar salad salad and they were already out of Romain dressing at 7 PM on a Friday night. We had a Caesar salad salad with spring mix instead... No big deal. The portions were huge, but our dinner came in an hour and 15 minutes after we sat down. It was painfully slow, I will say our waitress was apologetic and helpful. And I know that it was busy, but it's really no excuse for it to look so dirty. It only takes a minute to sweep under a table after a party leaves. The bathroom was deplorable, there was water on the floor and muddy footprints everywhere. The napkins on the ground around the tables along with discarded french fries and shrimp tails were a bit gross. The food is five star, the rest... ehhhhh
