Kidding aside, I absolutely love this place. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and if they are able to, they order the books that I request, no problem. Their selection of books is fantastic as well, and the way they've separated the books by genre is a great way to keep things fresh and interesting as well as help me discover new books in my favorite genres. They also do monthly book boxes that I have never been disappointed in. Yes, the books are not as cheap as you'd find them on Amazon. But Jeff Bezos sucks and underpays his workers and treats them terribly, so maybe there's a reason why everything on that site is so cheap. On the other hand, at this store, you get to take a look at the book, especially if it's a different edition (some with sprayed edges, variant covers, or signed by the author), which offers a better, more personable experience at the end of the day. Besides, people complain about how there are no third spaces for people to go to anymore. The place has an array of beverages to purchase as well as seating where you can just settle down with whatever you've purchased and just read. I've also stumbled upon a few book clubs through the store hosting some of them, and met authors through the store's hosted events. This is the kind of business we need more of in Medina: community-minded, passionate, personable, and fun.

While some of the items are a few dollars more than what you would pay on amazon, the experience and the atmosphere are more than worth the spend. If you wanted to put together a bookshelf full of classics that actually look like classics in worn, brown leather binding you could definitely get your start here. There is every section you expect from a book store. An extensive collection of fiction starting at the front of the store, with classics and nonfiction in the back and upstairs. The children's section is also upstairs. There are a few places where you can sit and read. This being a primarily used book store, you can sell and trade too. Highest dollar is given for nonfiction, with hardbacks being at the top of that list. You can sell your books outright with no obligation to use the money as credit only. However, like with most trade-in places, you will typically get more value if you apply it in credit than if you take it in cash. Absolutely worth a visit, even if you're just looking to browse the day away in town.
