Great used book store!…read more My son is just starting to read, he loves books. Even though we have tons at home I like to keep his motivation going by buying new books for him to read. He loved looking through the books to find something he would enjoy. The lady at the front desk was also very helpful helping us navigate the store and sections. Kids books were about $2 and other books varied in price but all seemed reasonable for good condition books.

Walls of Books is an amazing bookish vibe! I love everything about it. It's a locally owned, small…read morescale equivalent of your big box book retailers - BAM or B&N. It has everything you need and more than enough impulse buys! During fall it smells pleasantly like the loveliest fall scents! I loved everything about! I visited during a book crawl (ah yes, it's a thing and I loved everything about it too!!!) INVENTORY: There are plenty of categories at this store that you'd normally find at corporate book stores. Some categories really impressed me. There is a shelf of foreign language books. There is a kids section with books and plushies. There are plenty of souvenirs that I really appreciated. Especially loved Freida McFadden game and book nook! There are multiple shelf of used book with pretty good finds. The associates at the store shared that they tend to look at local book clubs' reads and stock the books. I easily found a book that I couldn't find anywhere locally (indie store or large retailers). MY BUYS: My friend and I browsed this store for awhile. I wish that I had hours to browse that day. We both purchased a popular thriller at full price (market price). We felt really good about supporting local. SERVICE: The service was really amazing! My friend and I asked about potential international reads for our international book club. It was a very obscure question. Within minutes the associates provided us with a huge list of potential books. I've never seen such accommodation and efficiency! We were able to also ask a lot about the store and inventory. We were treated so nicely. The service is simply incredible! MEMBERSHIPS: There are a few memberships and savings available at this store. Free membership allows you to sign up for free, then you get $5 off when you spend $100. The paid membership is $20 for one year. You will get 10% during every purchase. I'll look into memberships during my next visit. I really loved The Walls of Books! Love the selection! Love the service! Love that I can find local book club reads! I will be back to shop here for book club finds and winter book hoarding. I very highly recommend visiting this store!

Kidding aside, I absolutely love this place. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and if they are able to, they order the books that I request, no problem. Their selection of books is fantastic as well, and the way they've separated the books by genre is a great way to keep things fresh and interesting as well as help me discover new books in my favorite genres. They also do monthly book boxes that I have never been disappointed in. Yes, the books are not as cheap as you'd find them on Amazon. But Jeff Bezos sucks and underpays his workers and treats them terribly, so maybe there's a reason why everything on that site is so cheap. On the other hand, at this store, you get to take a look at the book, especially if it's a different edition (some with sprayed edges, variant covers, or signed by the author), which offers a better, more personable experience at the end of the day. Besides, people complain about how there are no third spaces for people to go to anymore. The place has an array of beverages to purchase as well as seating where you can just settle down with whatever you've purchased and just read. I've also stumbled upon a few book clubs through the store hosting some of them, and met authors through the store's hosted events. I finally visited Books-A-Million store in Cleveland on Sunday, 12 October 2025 after church. It's…read morea chain store with locations nationwide. I didn't really know about this store until my church friend, John, suggested the store to me because that is where he found his Bible cover. So, I came to find myself a Bible cover for a new Bible that I bought a week prior. I bought the Bible while in Chicago which is a used Life Application Study Bible that I randomly found for $1 at a bookstore. I was able to find a brown covered Bible cover here at Books-A-Million in October 2025. It has an Ephesians Bible verse on the front cover (Put on the Full Armor of God) and side pockets on the inside of it. I also like the side handle to carry the Bible cover. While at the store, a guy friend from church called me and asked me to find him a large print Catholic Bible (with the aprophcyha) but I couldn't find the exact one that he liked. I ended up returning back to Books-A-Million on October 31, 2025 to buy a Catholic Bible for him. A few others later chipped in money to use in purchasing this Catholic Bible for his birthday in November. I couldn't find a large print Catholic Bible with Jesus words in red so I bought a regular print one with Jesus words in red plus a Bible magnifier. I returned to the store in November 2025 to look for something that they didn't have but per my posted photos, I bought some Dubai Chocolates (I am writing this review almost a year later). INSIDE -- the store is large and organized by various sections. BOOKS GALORE -- There are many books to choose from, including fiction and non-fiction. They offer books in areas of business, religion, mysteries, sports, romance, etc SERVICE -- It may be difficult to find help because the store is large. When I finally found assistance, the employee was helpful during my two October 2025 visits. I remember during my first October visit, the employee walked around the Bible section of the store with me trying to help me find a specific Catholic Bible. I'll definitely be back again if I am looking to buy a specific book (I traditionally shop at local bookstores). Books-A-Million offers a Millionaire's Savings Club where for a one time fee, members enjoy discounts everyday so if that is your thing, give them a visit. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 162/250 total reviews in 2026 - 1003 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 17 July 2026

It's not a terribly large bookstore but it has all of the basic categories you'd expect and I'd say they're pretty well-stocked in those categories. From what I saw there weren't really secondhand books but so it goes. Did I come out with books? Of course I did.
