Food was amazing. Atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Highly recommend. There is a small wait but the food is fresh.

Made a pit stop on the way home from camping and it was worth the small detour!…read more This is not a sit down joint and fyi does not have a bathroom for the public to use. They do have a small parking lot and some benches around back but not ideal for colder weather. The menu is pretty extensive with many options of hot dogs, burgers and dessert. We got the Chicago dog, chili dog, patty melt and onion rings. The onion rings were the best! The breading did not fall off and stayed with each bite of the onion! Not to mention the crunch! The hot dog was also delicious! The way they dressed it was neat and you got a solid bite each time! The patty melt was juicy and the rye pairs so nicely!! The service was quick. It seemed like our small group of 6 may have overwhelmed them slightly with the amount of food we ordered but nonetheless did not take too long !

Beef 'N Buns 'N Paradise is one of those hidden gems that feels like summer. This fast casual burger and hot dog stand is walk-up only, with outdoor seating and a handful of parking spots (which fill up quickly during peak times). You order at the window from a huge menu and wait for your name to be called over the loudspeaker. We tried a few of their hot dogs, the Chicago Dog and the Chili Nacho Cheese Dog and both were awesome. The dogs were snappy, flavorful, and loaded with toppings. We also grabbed the double patty melt, which was superlative. The patties were juicy, the rye bread was perfectly griddled, and the whole thing just hit. The onion rings deserve their own shoutout too, crispy, hand-breaded, and the perfect side item. And of course, we had to finish with dessert. We got vanilla soft serve cones with black cherry flavor burst on one and coffee on the other. Super tasty and the perfect ending. The prices are reasonable for the quality and portion size. It's exactly the kind of place you want to hit up on a sunny weekend or for a casual dinner after work.

We ordered a beef burger with a side of sweet tots and the steakhouse burger with mac & cheese as the side. We shared all things and they were all delicious. The beet burger was suggested by a fellow customer and I'm so glad I listened to her. I was different and the texture was minced and not sliced. The flavor combo was awesome and out of the ordinary. The steakhouse burger was also fantastic. It was a great burger, but still a burger. So I was definitely a 5 out of 5, but the beet burger won the trip for me. The sweet tots and mac & cheese were equally delicious. I don't think you can go wrong. I really liked this place if you couldn't tell.

I ordered the monthly special milkshake which was the chocolate fang-cake shake. The pieces of chocolate cake in the shake provided a bit of texture and the chocolate was nice and velvety. The fries had a great flavor and were crispy. I saved them for later and they were still edible - not like typically fries that become soggy with no taste. The burger was thick and very juicy. I gave four stars instead of five because my order didn't come out exactly right. The burger was cooked medium well instead of medium temperature and I didn't get any raw onions on my burger as requested. Also, there was whip cream on my shake when I asked for it to be removed. Otherwise, I would certainly order again the next time I'm in Frederick.

Driving through the area late at night, we stumbled across Wag's with a craving for burgers. Though we weren't there to drink since we had a drive ahead of us, we loved watching the other patrons enjoying the bar scene. With daily specials and a great basement vibe, I can see why people love Wags. As for the food: the burger was just alright - but what can you expect when your meal is less than $10 per person? It honestly was perfect for the price point. The Wag Burger claimed to have a special sauce but we didn't taste it, which was fine because the burger was juicy, greasy, and hit the spot. The Philly cheese steak had a bit more flavor than the burger and was also a solid choice. Fries are fresh and made in-house, and I appreciated that you can salt them yourself and decide what toppings you might want to add. The menu is honestly huge for a dive bar, and all the food was solid. Shoutout to the staff here because after hearing how some drunk customers were treating them, they deserve all the tips in the world. Despite the staff being berated, dealing with intoxicated patrons threatening to run around nude, all while waiting tables with ease and kindness - you all deserve raises.

I love how some people made signs that said ICE not wanted at the Ice Festival. Joe and I stopped at a place called Wags to get warm and a late lunch. You had to go down some steps to enter this basement bar/ restaurant. It was a toss between Fells Point meets Peabody book club. Joe was entirely intimidated. Dark, dingy, crowded with everyone from bikers, to Boomers to yuppies to kids. Luckily, a couple was getting up and we found a table. Joe actually ordered a cocktail apple cranberry whiskey, LOL. The Waitresses were scurrying around efficiently and we were able to place our order. The menu looked like bistro comfort food that I found on Yelp as we were leaving the Glass Warehouse close by. We had no idea what to expect but walking downtown Frederick on Market Street is always a pleasure. The food and the service were outstanding! Totally exceeded our expectations. The quality, quantity and value for your buck totally unexpected. And Joe went from being intimidated to inspired! Joe liked Wags so much that he left a $30 tip, which doesn't seem unusual but the bill was only $40 including drinks! On the way out I shook hands with a guy named Carlos who introduced himself as one of the owners . I observed him wearing every hat, from serving food to scraping plates and cleaning. if I have to drag my man to my glass Warehouse almost 2 hours away from home I better feed him, LOL we will definitely be back. Gr8 vibes, gr8 food, gr8 service on the down low. Took a chance and was pleasantly surprised. #WAGS #WAGSWAITRESSESROCK #FREDERICKMD #BESTSMALLTOWNFREDERICKMD #anythinginstainedglassc

Instead we got the smallest amount of fries I have ever been served at a 5 guys and were met with 2 rude female employees when we went to clarify if they had given us the right size of fry. We ordered the regular size fry which costs $7.49 and were served what felt like less than a large fry at McDonald's. Customer service here blows and the portions just keep getting smaller while the prices keep going up. The day Frederick gets a shake shack this place will be out of business within the year. Shoutout to the very nice man making the fries who initially agreed to remake them (seeming to confirm we were given the wrong size...) before two female employees stepped in front of him to rudely claim that's just the size.

(At least they got the food items right.) The law says that restaurants and franchises must give the customer their copy of the receipt. From there, I went home blind slightingly and found a bright yellow and black paper in my bag of food. The paper was for a free sandwich. I went online to the website displayed on the yellow and black paper. There was a screen where I could enter in the store number and two other numbers I needed. I noticed one number was bare, so I could not even enter in for the free sandwich code. Poor service when I drove back the next day. They treated me like I was dirt. I asked the manager for a free sandwich and the customer receipt back. He disagrees and says he doesn't want to dig in the trash can for the customer copy receipt. Losers. I'm not coming back. I'm going to the Gaithersburg Checkers. The only Checkers I didn't want to go to anymore. I told him straight to his face.
