Subs are great. OG is styled very much like this restaurant down in south Florida called Laspadas. I always order the OG Italian and it's delicious. They don't have that many toppings for those who enjoy that but still would recommend as a good sandwich shop. read more

First off, I do respect the owner of this place however, I just had a terrible experience at this place, here is why. I walked in, and said I would like to order a roast beef sandwitch the guy said ok, then during that process a women walked in and asked if he could wrap her sandwitch up in paper and he said yes to that. Following that, he made my sandwitch an '8 inch sub while paying a price of 12$ for a sub and combo, I sat down at a table, and unwrapped the sandwitch and noticed it was not heated up. I then asked for it to be toasted he said "no I cant do that do to sanitary reasons" I said, I do not understand, in the back of my mind the lady who walked in got her sandwitch wrapped in paper after she had bought it. This is a complete 360 of the policy that was told to me a few minutes later. I feel this is unjust reasoning. read more

Horrible service and disgusting food. I went to this sub place after going to Potbelly's and legit had the worst experience. One, my sub was absolutely disgusting. The meat they put on the sandwich was old and the bread was stale. I even found a couple of fruit flies in my sub. Not only that, but this girl was really sick leaving Potbelly's and her friends were trying to get her water. The person working there was so rude that he told her friends that he would not give her free water. He even said to one of them that "because shes using the bathroom, I'm not giving u free water because toilet paper costs too much." She was absolutely sick and they didn't have any money. It is really sad to see that people could be so rude and unsympathetic. read more

Food is prepared fresh right in front of you, with plenty of options for both deli meat and toppings. Just like La Spada's back in broward county, they toss the turkey right on your sandwich! Clean bathrooms. Only small negatives are the loud music and slight overcharge, but it is right in the middle of college avenue by Pots and other bars. 5 stars absolutely! read more

Must be a chain tho I'd never heard of it. The meat across the top of the sandwich was definitely a first. A bit awkward but ensured that you got meat in every bite. Missed the mark on this one. We ordered a turkey / provolone wrap and an Italian wrap. Upon picking up the order early Saturday afternoon, we were told they were out of onions. Not a problem. We took the wraps to go, and they looked great at first. The meat was fresh and tasted good. A few bites in, we realized both wraps contained more sweet peppers than anything else and overpowered everything. When I say sweet peppers, I mean very large chunks of multi-varieties of pickled peppers. We both ended up picking them all out in an attempt to save the wraps, and they completely filled the plastic trays. We ended up making a big mess. Pretty disappointing. Unless you want a vinegar-based pepper sandwich or wrap, I would suggest leaving them off. read more

Sub lovers of Tallahassee take note...OG Subs is FOR REAL! Being a South Florida (Hollywood) native, I've had the pleasure of enjoying Laspadas subs for many years. Every visit back home, I would plead with them to open up a spot in Tallahassee to no avail. Well, we got the next best thing on College Ave. OG Subs was started by former employees of Laspadas and they heard our cries...thank goodness they did! The sub rolls are delivered fresh daily from a local bakery and are very good (I would suggest making the roll just a bit larger to support the generous amount of meats and veggies that are provided). My personal favorite is the "Triple OG". This is the equivalent sub of the Laspadas monster. It contains ham, turkey and roast beef (which was perfectly rare and delicious). They slice the meat fresh to order, place a full layer of all three meats on the sub roll, add your selected veggies...do not pass on the sweet peppers, just trust me on this. Then they add another full layer of meat on top and tuck everything in so nicely. I also recommend adding the oil and vinegar as well as the oregano and salt/pepper to top everything off. The two fellas working today were very friendly and provided excellent service to our family. Not to forget this very important question that many of you may ask...Yes, they throw the meat from the slicer to the sub maker just like Laspadas...this may sound strange but it's very cool and an important part of the overall experience. I'm from south Florida and I went in with low expectations compared to what I'm used to (all my Laspadas fans out there know what I'm talking about) but man this place is the only place I can think of that's better. AWESOME!! We found this place via yelp and we are so glad we did. The veggie sub was amazing and bread super soft. My husband ordered the Buffalo chicken sub and loved it.
