Shout out to the crew working here tonight because they did a bang up job! Times are crazy with staff shortages but this group which seemed to be new were all attentive and learning as who I assume was the manager walked them through all the steps during my order and was encouraging them along the way. This is how you start people and ultimately retain them. It was truly a welcome sight to see. After I finished my sandwich outside, I made sure go back in to tell them it was probably the best Jimmy John's sandwich I've ever had. No lie. The look on their faces from that public recognition was amazing. And the manager backed it up congratulating them. Fantastic experience and I wish them all the best!

everytime i ask for "no mayo" they put mayo on WITHOUT fail.

i have NEVRR gotten a sub from here with my order actually correct. I love jimmy johns but this location makes me question it. It's embarrassing how easy my order is yet this location never seems to get it correct.

James is the absolute man, great guy and never messes up my order. If I go into Jimmy John's and James is working, I know I'm in good hands.

Clean kitchen, friendly staff and way faster delivery than those non-helmet wearing jokers at Metro-Deli.

They also offer a 5% discount if you pay in cash, which is a nice bonus. I got "The Hummer," which has turkey, feta, black olives, tomato, onion, and lettuce on rye-pumpernickel with mayonnaise and house dressing. It was so good. The bread was SUPER YUMMY and looked beautiful too (if you care about aesthetics). All the flavors blended together really well without anything overpowering, and it had this refreshing quality to it that made it stand out. I would definitely order it again. My partner got "The Sauté," which is turkey with Parmesan, Cheddar, Swiss, and a mix of sautéed onions, peppers, and mushrooms on a warm poppy seed roll, plus lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, and house dressing. The roll was good and it was very flavorful but is was the combination of the veggies, turkey, and melted cheeses gave it a lot of depth. Everything tasted fresh. I got a combo with Mrs. Vickie's salt and vinegar chips, which is always a good sign. And the sweet tea--wow. It wasn't overly sweet, but what really stood out was the flavor. You could actually taste the tea, with slightly minty, earthy notes that made it feel really well done. That's rare. Overall, for what this place is, it deserves all stars. The staff was kind and helpful, the food came out quickly, and everything we had was genuinely good. P.S. There is no photos because I forgot due to it being so da** good!

It was good to stop in and try them again. I brought my wife and son on this trip. We shared an order of the Philly fries. For my main course I had the footling Philly cheesesteak with onions, peppers, and mushrooms. For my cheese I had the American wit. It was all so good! The bread on the Philly really did it for me. It was so fresh and crisp. I would recommend this place to anyone in Tallahassee looking for a Philly cheesesteak.

The ambiance was cool. It's a sports bar. Small, but I could easily see myself watching a game in there. Now, the cheesesteak was good. I would probably get a sturdier cheese the next time. The cheese whiz was so liquidy that it was all over the wrapper. I usually like messy sandwiches, but this one couldn't stay together. Not even three bites in the whole thing ripped in half. The onion rings were disappointing. They were pretty dark and were soft and doughy when they cooled down. I barely ate one and won't order them again. I will try this spot again for the sandwich and maybe I'll try the fries next time.

Certainly at this point Hopkins is a staple for Tallahassee and as I hadn't been in a while, I…read morethought I would pay Homage. It's like it is frozen in time. When you walk, it hasn't changed much and I must say there is something quite comforting in that consistency. There is a certain degree of nostalgia present here. Hummer was my goto a while back, but today I went with the Linda. It was exactly as I remembered it, the marbled rye was fresh, no staleness in the crust as can happen in sandwich shops, a telltale sign of attention to detail. Tomatoes were juicy and freshly sliced and sprouts (which can be hard to find these days) were on point as well. Service was on fast and efficient, kitchen looked shiny, employees are just as I remembered them as well, a bit eclectic, great experience! My ONE critique, I got a cup of corn chowder, the flavor profile of which was VERY good, a spike of dill seasoning it up nicely, BUT, the consistency was quite watery, flavor was still good, not watered down but I, personally, would expect a thicker consistency to a "chowder" I'm assuming they did not use the typical roux liaison' to leave the door open for the gluten free, completely understandable, though I wish I would have been alerted to this as I feel most people would associate a thicker soup when referring to a chowder. Aside from that mild hiccup Hopkins has managed to maintain their identity over a span of many years, not an easy feat in the restaurant graveyard we call Tallahassee, I'm impressed and appreciative. Good Job
