It's fast food, but this location has always done a good job for what they are. I have been a fan of Arby's since college when I became addicted to their jamocha shakes. My wife likes Arby's because their classic roast beef sandwich does not come with any "stuff" so there is no hassle with getting it right. Over the years Arby's has tried various menu additions while trying to expand beyond the roast beef sandwich shop they originally were. These days they are big on "we have the meats" (you heard that voice from the commercial didn't you?), unapologetically offering a variety of sandwiches with massive amount of meats. Their recent Italian porchetta sandwich was pretty good, but no longer is offered (darn). Service at this location over the years has always been good for us. There is plenty of seating that is comfortable. Parking is ok, but there is no exit out the back to Boone Blvd. so you have to circle the building to exit. All in all this is a good stop for a quick meal for us. After all, they still have that jamocha shake on the menu. read more

I was the only customer at the counter. Nobody attended me, although several employees made eye contact with me. Still, nobody even acknowledged me. While waiting, another customer came in with his order which was totally incorrect. After waiting 5 minutes, I decided to leave as it became apparent that Arby's does not want my business. LOSE THE TIP OPTION at the payment screen. The food is good, but the service at this North Monroe location is not worth a dime. Show up at noon, and you will wait forever for your food. Try to outsmart the rush and come in at 1:45 p.m., when the place is empty, and you can still wait 18 minutes just to be acknowledged by an employee. By 1:30, they are all outside smoking blunts, and as a customer, you clearly mean very little to them. I am done with this location. My $12 a week may not seem like much, but do the math. That is $624 a year this store will no longer get from me. I might consider giving this place another shot once it becomes public knowledge that the guilt-driven tip prompt is gone from the point-of-sale screen. Visited last week as I was on that side of town. The interior was clean, as was the bathroom. I am surprised that this is the only Arby's in Tallahassee. I ordered their Roast Beef and Cheddar sandwich. They were prompt with making it hot and fresh. I would have ordered some of their curly fries, but they would have been cold as I had to drive across town to get home. Highly recommended. Yes, it is fast food but well above par. read more

Out of the three times I've been there this past year I've had three issues. Today nobody behind me whatsoever and I was requested to pull forward I calmly nicely said no there's nobody behind me yeah but it's going to affect my time, the reason there's a timer there so you guys produce timely manner. But needless to say she told her co-worker or the manager that was in the back he said f*** this make sure I could hear it. Then, you don't get sauces, and ask (no bid deal)..so I ask for a few sauces, to which I get the death stare...then told I have to come inside for those. Pulled up to the drive through menu and waited a few minutes and no response. Pull up to the window to make sure they were actually open since it was a couple minutes before 11am. Was told "yeah we open" then was told I had to go back around the building and get in line to order. Explained that I had already waited several minutes but apparently that matters not. My husband wanted to try Arby's because of the commercials! "We have the meats"! LOL! We went through the drive-thru; my husband ordered the brisket sandwich, I ordered the turkey sandwich. My husband wasn't too impressed with his sandwich, but I did enjoy my turkey sandwich, though it is probably a bit hard to mess up a turkey sandwich. I can say though that the Arby's marketplace sandwich I ordered will give a couple of cafes around town a run for their money. I don't do fast foods often at all but wouldn't mind trying other market-fresh sandwiches/wraps from this eatery. I ordered cheese sticks as well; they were not the most pleasing to the eye, but I suppose the person who prepared the cheese sticks wasn't concerned about presentation for the customer. Of note, customer service is lacking, but you get that sometimes at fast-food restaurants (especially if dealing with high schoolers/teenagers)! :o) read more

This place isn't bad. Arby's has really expanded their menu. Today I had three of the $1 sliders for lunch ($1 between 2pm and 5pm-a great deal). Jalepeno Roast Beef, Chicken and Buffalo Chicken and all three were pretty darn good. Drinks were $1 as well as several other things. read more

We enjoy dining occasionally at this Arby's. Courteous staff, good sandwiches and sides, reasonable prices. The only thing that keeps it from me giving a 4 Star rating is the old and dirty parking lot. I had just gotten home from work. I'm a line cook, so I rarely get a chance to actually take a lunch break. If you know, you really know. I had not eaten all day. I got home, smoked a fat bowl, slugged a beer, and threw on some Golden Girls, which made me think of my late grandmother. Rest in power, Nana. She would always take me to either Taco Bell, KFC, or Arby's once or twice a week. So I started having one of those nostalgic cravings, and went for the mozzarella sticks and a 1/2 pound beef n' cheddar. This was by far the BEST Arby's experience I've ever had. Minus my dead grandmother. The mozzarella sticks were fresh out of the fryer. I mean the cheese was a stringin'. And the beef n' cheddar? I think they dipped the beef in their jus right before making the sandwich, because it was SO juicy! Plenty of cheddar sauce. I was very impressed, and definitely want to give credit where credit is due! A+ Arby's!!! Oh, no photos because it was scarfed down. But let's be honest, we all know what Arby's products look like. I came to Arby's and I ordered their Triple Thick Brown Sugar Roast Beef Sandwhich. I saw the pic and I was so excited to eat this. I ordered it with No bun. I got my bag and there was an undistinguishable chunk of meat and then a small box with some fried onions. I backed my car up to got Back to the window. I was shocked, like is this really it? Did I just pay almost 8$ for this????? I asked the woman where the bacon is. She said with the onions. No joke it was 1 small slice of bacon cut into thirds. The roast beef was thick and fatty but only the size of a single corn tortilla of even that. The woman at the window was looking at me like I was just being a jerk. Tho seriously anyone with two eyes could have seen how sad what I got was. I should have just given it back and asked for my money. This was the biggest waste of cash I have ever spent. I now go to Whataburger every time I want a burger with no bun. They make that super expensive burger worth it. I get three actual pieces of bacon and I also get 2 beef patties. I will likely NEVR go to Arby's in general let opine this one ever again. Talk about fraud. The picture is obviously not what you always get. However what they served was not even close to how the picture looked. On the plus side my sad slice of bacon was good and so easy the sauce. Everything else including service sucked. read more

One of the best fast food places I've been to in Tallahassee! The service is wonderful, the employees are friendly, and the food is always served hot. I never have to wait long for my food to be ready, and everything is always made correctly. They renovated fairly recently and the inside looks great now! The food is standard Arby's food. It tastes the same no matter which one you go to. The only exception would probably be the chicken sandwiches, which can occasionally be given to you burnt to a crisp. Fun times. Depending on who is working on a given day, the employees may be really friendly or just may not pay much attention to you. But no matter what, the service is always super slow. In addition, we are always missing an item from our order...without fail. Might be a small item (e.g. a cup of cheese sauce) or a larger item (e.g. order of fries). But I have yet to receive my order where everything is there. This obviously is a problem because if you're not careful and are not checking your order before you leave, you essentially just gave them free money. And looking at the previous reviews, this seems to be a habit of theirs. That's not good. If you go here, always check your order! read more

I was through this area recently and thought about trying this place once again. I entered the building and found it to be generally dirty as with my last visit though here and just decided to leave rather than chance it again. My 2 star rating is the food has previously been ok here in the past, I have just noticed too many operational problems and the lack of cleanliness in the store which is why I opted not to try this place again on my last visit. I will share now what happened on my previous visit though this store. I am removing names for privacy reasons as this was actually sent into Arbys and we received no response or followup. The store appeared to show its age so I am sharing below what was previously sent into Arbys when the occurrence happened. (Sent-In Letter) I met up with a friend who is from Atl who is here on business and is working with the State on a locl. project and he really likes a local popular ChcknSndwchPlace and wanted to meet me there, to make a long story short, I talked him into meeting with me at your Arbys and we went in there to pick up sandwiches to go as he is here on a work project this week. What I have to describe as a basically crazy Manager came at my friend raving about he had too many napkins as I asked him to make sure we had enough which was no more than a 1/2 in ch stack and he simply told the manager that as a guest in your restaurant, he was not going to be addressed in that manner as this Manager began lecturing us that these napkins would be deducted from her own pay check, He gave your manager several opportunities to realize she had crossed the line with us and was behaving most irrationally. At this point, my friend just said that since she was so concerned about the napkins in the place and not about customers that we would go ahead and get a refund and leave as he would not spend money with someone who was going to treat him in this manner. This Woman Manager who appeared promptly refunded us not even concerned that she was losing our business. My friend works out of Atl. for a company out of NY and knows the Restaurant & Hotel biz pretty well inside out and he shared with me that with the dirtiness of the store, the lack of care it displayed and obviously the lack of concern for the well being of your store patrons that this restaurant showed many signs of a store that he thought would probably be closing soon as he pointed out that this store would probably lose what few customers it had and perhaps only be full of napkins and no customers. As mentioned his knowledge is extensive and upon ordering fries as the fry area he noticed was really so dirty, that he had to have fresh fries which your employee basically even agreed on this issue. He also noticed a huge spill in front of the fountain area which was not being addressed as this manager at this point was too busy socializing in the dining room until she took major notice of our napkins to go with our food we had just ordered and already paid for. Upon leaving another table of guest who happened to also be from my friend's State of Georgia approached us as we were leaving and were totally disgusted by what they witnessed with this Manager as well. The really funny thing to my friend was they suggested to us to go up to Local Chicken Place which my friend wanted to do in the first place since we left with no food due to the gross misconduct of this manager. As we picked up our food at ChcknSndwchPlace and were getting our order together to go back for an office dinner, he jokingly made a point of asking one of their employees who was meticulously cleaning their dining room which was absent from your store about if it was ok to get some extra napkins and the most pleasant worker answered no problem at all and go ahead and get whatever you need! We simply both smiled and looked at each other and were laughing all the way back to our task about just how many customers your Manager had chased off as she was way more concerned about napkins in her restaurant than customers or their spending in your restaurant which were almost non totally existent in comparison to what we witnessed at ChcknSndwchPlace I do somewhat frequently dine in your restaurant, but after my experience in what I witnessed with this Manager and her gross disregard for a customer who is spending money in your restaurant, I will probably will not return so long as your company seems to set your standards at such a low level in the employment of people like this in a highly competitive industry. My friend was ready to review with a very scathing review of your company but as someone who does like to eat at your restaurant, I told him to let me contact you first to see if anyone actually even still cares before he did anything on his part since he does not live here and I would like to at least give you the chance to get some real management in there and clean things up if this is still even possible.(End Of Sent In Letter) read more

Thought I'd try something different today, so I got a salad. The turkey club salad. Yum! Yum! Seriously one of the best salads I have had anywhere in Tallahassee. Their lettuce is cut thin and the tomatoes cubed small. Then there was sliced turkey and shredded cheese. Oh....and I almost forgot the bacon. This salad was "fresh" and just what I needed! Thanks Arby's! The reason I gave only 4 stars is the drink, Sierra Mist was 'only' seltzer water. Someone should check the drink machine periodically to make sure each flavor is mixing correctly. Ok, so this is an update to my previous review. I received a call from the district manager today letting me know how sorry she was for the issues that me and my wife had. She advised that I could go by and the manager would be waiting with a total refund for what we spent. She also advised that they had the pest control people come out and take care of the nat problem. I have given them one more star to reflect their response and making it right between us. They still have a few remaining nats but the pest control guy said the only thing that they have to do now is get the Pepsi vender out to clean the soda drains and that should ground the flight of the Valkyrie. read more

I have not eaten at Arbys in years so i decided to try it for dinner tonight. The fries are awesome. They have the curlie Q kind and the seasoning was great and flaforful. My black angus sandwich is rocking my world. A tangy ranch dressing sauce and melted cheese is absolutely delicious. Definitely a five star fast food chain. read more

I've only had good experiences here the couple time I've been. What stands out to me is that you can tell the building is old and the floors are a bit warn down, but it's very clean. To me, it looks like the employees and management are working hard to put their best foot forward from the beginning. Also, all the employees I've ordered from have been very friendly. Went through the drive thru on my way home about a week ago to pick up dinner for my family. The inside of the restaurant was not busy at all, and there was only one car in line ahead of me. I waited in line for over half an hour. The car in front of me only received one bag of food, so its not like they ordered so much food it was taking forever to cook it all. And I only ordered 3 combos, so again, not like I overwhelmed them. When I got my food I was missing items, I had to ask twice for the drinks because she never did give them to me, and after arguing for several minutes about whether she did or did not return my debit card, she realized she put it in her cash register by mistake. The food was the same as any Arby's, but the service was very slow, and the drive thru employee was very rude to me about her mistakes, and didn't offer a single apology about any of it.
