This is our official pizza spot for any event or guest we have in our home! We discovered it during one of my little ones friend's birthday party. The parents were raving about a General Tso pizza but it was finished by the time I got to try it. As such, I ordered it the following weekend and was surprised to see how crowded it was, we ordered on site but learned the way to go was to order it online in advance. We also pre ordered for the superbowl since I was entertaining for the event. I do recommend to order for major events a week in advance!!! Anyway, great pizza and convenient!

As someone born and raised in NYC, I can confidently say that the pizza here is a solid choice. Although nothing can be as good as a pie made in the boroughs (something about the tap water?), the crust is thin, crispy, and chewy in a good way. The sauce has good flavor as well. The onion rings here have actual onions as well - not just the flavored breading like other shops have. Took off one start since we ordered delivery and our food was a lot colder than expected , but everything reheated well. I'll definitely order from here again to try some other items.

Hands down in my humble opinion, OG's is the best pizza in Philadelphia! In fact, the best I've had anywhere! From the freshest ingredients to the perfect crust, OG's has been nothing less than consistently providing quality and delicious pizza. They have really nice size slices and many varieties of toppings, also available by the slice. The business is very clean and the workers are all super professional and kind. Says a lot about the way the owner, John runs his business. OG's is definitely not trying to be fancy. No thrills. Just a great food. Don't waste your time eating pizza at places like Pizza Bedia and others. They're ok if you don't mind spending a lot of money for a product that has more hype than anything else. See for yourself. I totally recommend you check OG's out. I love it, and I'm sure you will agree!

Pizza 3.5 stars. It didn't taste like cardboard! *laughing emoji* Pizza is one of those foods that extremely subjective to how YOU like yours. So peruse reviews with a grain of salt so to speak. I had the meat lovers and the margarita pizzas and really enjoyed the quality of the toppings. They didn't taste inferior. Whoever was cooking that day was mindful to time it just right because my crust wasn't burnt, it was lightly charred. I do feel like you need to eat it while it's hot. When it cools off too much everything stiffens up and if you try to reheat it's just not as good...especially the crust. I had been in search of above basic/standard pizza for a while and thought I'd give OG Pizza a try. I compared them to several other pizza shops and decided to give them a try. I live to far so I was outside of their delivery area, I drove about 30 minutes to get here only to pass by it the first time because there's no signage. Well..there's a small sign on the door that tells you it's OG Pizza but if you're driving by you can't see it! Granted, it's like the only spot at Frankford and Cumberland, but if you've never been before you don't know what it is...It looked like a 7eleven or In/Out beer spot to me *laughing emoji* Parking is extremely limited to only street parking and the majority of the area residents take up that so there's really no where to park. I parked about 3 blocks away and walked back to pick up my pizza. My pizzas were ready when I arrived (as they should have been since it took me 30 mins to get there). Overall it was a solid experience. I'd try them again as well as some other items on their menu on a day I don't mind going for a drive.

My girlfriend and I decided to order a small Sicilian Pizza Well Done with an order of cheese fries through the OG Pizza Website for delivery as a quick dinner option after our hectic Friday work day was finished. After spending almost 30 bucks, disappointed is an understatement. We frequently order from OG because the food is good, delivery is pretty fast and never run into any kind of issues but the food we received this time is just plain wrong. The "Well Done" pizza we ordered was undercooked, while the cheese was burnt. Honestly it's like they had another Sicilian Pizza left over from a mistake or a no show and threw it back in the oven to make it look "well done" for 30 bucks (including the fries, delivery, tip) that is downright disrespectful to send food out like that with the amount of money food cost now and days. Foul, disgusting and nauseating trying to eat a pizza like this all while the burnt nasty cheese just falls off as one big slice of cheese when you bite it. I've ordered from here multiple times and I can honestly say I'll never order from here again. Very disappointed in OG Pizza.

This is a great little pizza spot for a quick slice. They have a few picnic tables out front for nice days, or you can stand inside by the window and watch your pizza cook in the brick oven, which is a fun touch. We tried the Buffalo Chicken Curly Fries - they were a bit on the salty side, but the ranch on the side helped balance it out. We also got two slices of their veggie pizza, and while it was tasty, I would've liked a few more veggies on it. Service was fast and no-frills, exactly what you'd expect from a casual pizza joint. Overall, a solid spot for a quick bite, and I'd definitely come back for another slice.

The food tasted wonderful! I ordered the beef ramen, and my friend had the spicy chicken ramen. The server was kind and patient. We visited on Thursday afternoon, the restaurant was quiet and peaceful. I'd recommend it to others!

I see the general tso pizza online and I had to try. I did and I don't know what to think I'm indifferent . The grilled chicken salad was good you just need to ask for more salad dressing but it was very very good. The pepperoni pizza was so so so so good. I definitely think I will be ordering more than next time. The service was quick and it's a really small inside. There's no inside seating so if it's hot outside, I suggest you wait till it cools down or order your food to go.

Our family's go-to spot. It's not fancy or trendy like some of the other spots around but always delicious, a fair price (look for their coupons!), and always enough food for the whole family. I love the people that work there on the phones and at the registers. Friendly and neighborly. I love their regular pizzas and their margherita pizza. We get their chicken tenders and mozzarella sticks all the time, too. They have outdoor seating but we almost always grab to-go.

While I might choose another place for takeout, when the goal is a night of pizza, wine, great atmosphere, and authentic neighborhood vibes, this is usually where we end up. The space is bright, industrial, airy, and thoughtfully designed but unforced. White walls, warm wood, considered lighting, and a floor plan with real breathing room--rare in New York. The vibe recalls Bucktown, Wicker Park, Williamsburg, and Greenpoint: design-forward but genuinely local. There's a great bar, and booths near the kitchen with glass windows that let you watch the staff. Our three-year-old was mesmerized, and the staff was warm and playful, smiling and waving while they cooked. A small detail, but memorable. The crowd feels local. Good music, friendly people, hip but never pretentious. It's just a fun place to be with great service, too. The food is outstanding. We usually order the chicories caesar with grana padano and breadcrumbs, and the lettuce salad with shaved vegetables and creamy oregano dressing. For pizza, we love the arrabbiata (the Angry pie) and tomato pie with sausage and pickled chilies. My wife enjoys the ice cream. A note on bringing kids: I don't think this is a family restaurant, but if your kids are curious and well-behaved, it's absolutely worth bringing them earlier in the evening. We've gone around 4:30 or 5:00 on weekends and always felt comfortable. One time, our daughter had a full meltdown, and we were mortified, but the staff couldn't have been cooler. They packed everything to go, kindly and without any judgment. That kind of grace is hard to fake, and it genuinely stuck with us. Pricing is fair for the quality of the food and the experience. Places like this can seem overrated or overpriced, but this one doesn't. It offers real value for a memorable night out. The whole restaurant feels like a microcosm of Philadelphia's progressive, creative side. There's real ambition behind it, but it still feels human and grounded, nothing sterile, nothing corporate, nothing over-engineered. Just smart people building a cool neighborhood place that others actually want to spend time in. Oh, and make a reservation. Great spot, Joe. We'll be back soon. Thank you!

The hostess took our coats (a nice touch!) and then a rotation of two servers explained the specials and we ordered. I love that the menu is on the shorter side and they rotate the pizza offerings, so even if you're visiting on a regular basis, you'll always be able to try something new. Additionally, when a menu is only about 2 pages, you know everything on those two pages is top notch, as was the case at Pizzeria Beddia. This evening we got the meatballs (didn't take a photo, was too excited, but they were HUGE and excellent) and the beef, pork and veal balls with a rich red sauce was outstanding. Came in an order of 2 but one was plenty for each of us. The Pizza we got had potatoes on it, and we added sausage per the servers recommendation, and it was cooked perfectly and all of the flavors blended so well together. We are so lucky to have an amazing (and nationally recognized!) pizza spot in the neighborhood and it's always nice when you can walk in without a reservation from time to time.

We ordered two of the famous spicy caesar salads (must order!!), a ricotta toast, a White Claw pizza, and a finished off our meal sharing two chocolate budinos. The White Claw is a pretty classic white pizza, mozzarella and swirls of basil pesto; the crust is amazing! It pairs perfectly with the salad. The ricotta toast is decadent and addicting, but a little bit goes a long way. The chocolate budino was outstanding - sweet, with hints of espresso. We won't talk about how I ended up with some of it on my white turtleneck... Service was friendly and QUICK! We ordered, and I swear we had our first dishes in less than 10 minutes. The server was a doll, though I can't recall his name. Downside of Prunella, like anywhere in Center City, is there is no parking. Upside, is you're just a short walk from the 13th St. Septa Station, and you're literally equidistant from Broad and Market streets. Pro-tip: Killer happy hour specials, but only at the bar. The polite smile that says "it's fine" while the eyes say "it is absolutely not." Totally understandable. No one loves a near-close order. I even acknowledged it out loud--apologized, explained we weren't from the area, and that we were just trying to grab a quick bite because it was one of the few places still open. She said it was okay. Her face said otherwise. Fair enough. Here's where it turned around. The pizza came out hot, fresh, and legitimately impressive. Not "good for late night" good--just plain good. Every bite was fresh, the ingredients tasted clean, and the pizza clearly hadn't been rushed or phoned in despite the timing. Hunger probably helped, but even factoring that out, this was a standout. Honestly, I was kicking myself for not ordering an extra one to go before leaving the city. That's how good it was. We did try to get drinks, but were told the soda machine was down. The nozzles were off, so I'm guessing it was a cleaning/end-of-night thing. I won't ding them for it--though let's be real, tossing nozzles in sanitizer isn't exactly a marathon. Still, not a deal-breaker. Restaurant was clean, but of course, they were near closing. I tipped her a few bucks for staying late, and left genuinely satisfied. My wife prefers thinner pizza, while I lean toward something with a bit more structure, and somehow this lands perfectly in the middle. A large plain pie with no toppings generally feeds about three people, depending on appetite size, maybe four if people are eating lightly. The garlic knots are excellent, pickup times are reliable, and the place always feels lively. They've clearly built a loyal neighborhood following. I look forward to trying more specialty pies, especially the Brooklyn Upside Down. What I appreciate most is that it feels like a real neighborhood pizza spot, not overly polished or trendy, just consistently very good. The pizza also feels a bit different from a classic New York-style pie in a way that's hard to describe but really works. We've ordered it in for friends and family visiting from out of town, and people are always impressed. Pizzata sets up tables in good weather for casual dinners with kids. It's also convenient that they're on the Slice app for digital orders. Highly recommend if you want excellent Center City pizza for takeout or a casual sit-down experience. Thank you!

Pizzata, your round pie crust shines (cracker thin, crispy, crawnchy, no flop) but the rest…read more... Definitely room for improvement. While I can't speak for a bulk of their menu, I can say that I was left wishing I had ordered their pizza al' tagglio instead of the classic, "Queen Margherita." We arrived around 8:30 on a Saturday night, not realizing they close at 9, and were among the last customers to order. So, a little PSA!!! Get there earlier if you're out and about on the weekend. The cashier's energy made it pretty clear the staff was ready to wrap up for the night, and unfortunately, that seemed to carry over into the overall experience. Our order took about 20 minutes to come out, and while the crust was addictive, the pizza as a whole felt lackluster. The sauce was your rather basic crushed whole peeled tomatoes that seemed hand crushed and spread thinly over the perfectly crisp crust. And I do mean perfect folks. The blobs of half melted mozzarella were randomly scattered atop like a Dalmatian's spots and despite the menu stating parmesan was supposed to be there, I saw no trace. Same goes for the EVOO. Once fresh basil leaves were scattered atop but lost their vibrancy since the had obviously been added to the pie before putting it in the oven. Rating: 7/10 (the crust is the savior here) All in all, I would absolutely give Pizzata another go. The Roman-style pizza gets a lot of love, and after seeing photos of some of their other pies, they've still got me salivating so I am not writing them off just yet. The Margherita may not have wowed me, but that crust alone is definitely something worth coming back for.
