I found out at about 8:15 p.m. on a Tuesday that I needed to pack and ship a package. I was leaving on business very early the next morning and would be gone for several days, so I needed to get this shipped that evening. Even the post offices that stay open late close by 6 so that was out, FedEx/Kinkos was out because I don't have an extra testicle, which is what it would've cost to ship this heavy box using FedEx, so my only hope was to find a store that ships packages via UPS or USPS. I remember seeing this place along US1 in the plaza where TGI Fridays and Pier 1 Imports are located. I boxed everything up and headed out, hoping they were open (I couldn't remember the name of the place and couldn't find them in the few Google searches I did, so I couldn't call ahead). I arrived just after 9, the "OPEN" sign was still lit, and the door was unlocked. I walked in, thinking that maybe they were supposed to close at 9. I saw 2 people (the owners I think) in the back, and a chain gate was pulled 1/2 way across the hallway between the front of the business and the area where the sales counter is located. I asked if they were still open and pointed toward the "OPEN" sign that was still lit up. The man looked up and said "We close at 7 on weekdays". I asked if he could help me out, and I nicely explained again that I stopped because his open sign was still on. He smiled and said "You can come in". The woman who was working there was friendly and took care of me quickly, and because of their kindness I could relax knowing that these things were shipped before I left the next morning. That's customer service at its best! As far as the store, they sell boxes, tape and packaging products, they can ship via UPS, USPS and FedEx and they also sell stamps. I also believe you can drop items off to them and they will package them up for you and ship them. The next time I need shipping supplies or need to ship items, I'll be coming here for sure; They've earned my business. Come to think of it, I think I'll also send them one of the "You've been Yelped" cards as well!

They seemingly cannot process cards and only…read morepackages, as I sent two cards in September and December 2024 and they were returned to me as undeliverable in June 2025, despite being addressed identically to packages that were delivered consistently throughout the year. Fast forward to 2026 and packages go missing without explanation other than to blame the delivery service which provides a photo as evidence of their delivery to the store. Upon calling, the manager could not even let me finish a sentence about why I was calling and kept cutting me off with "send your student back" even though my student had already filled out the missing package form. It just seems really unfortunate that a University this large, successful, and costly would allow this low level of customer service to occur. I fear sending further packages now, as I have stopped sending cards/letters due to the previous issues. Their latest response to the photo I sent proving delivery was "that's not our store. contact UM." Nothing else. Not even capital letters. Terrible customer service.

Worst part is sometimes you receive a package that might be in the wrong name or not have the right box number and even if it is traceable to you, they won't send you an email and let you know. You have to go get it out of their package jail and pay for it. Such a scam. Also the hours online are wrong which is extremely inconvenient. Just went to pick up at package at 3:45 on Sunday when they supposedly close at 4 and everything was locked up. Worst ups store ever.

The process at this UPS location couldn't have been easier. They have a machine directly across from their main service counter that's specifically used for Amazon returns. You don't need to have your items boxed or labeled for shipping - you simply use this machine to scan the return code you were given by Amazon, toss the item into one of the clear plastic bags that are located under the screen, close it up and attach the label this machine prints out. Simple, fast, painless and if I hadn't gotten stuck behind someone who didn't know how to operate her smartphone and had multiple items to return, I'd have quite literally been in and out of this UPS store within a minute or two.
