This is a long over due review. Ive been going to this ORW for almost 2 years. The first time I visited this store was after I bought my jeep and was looking for a lift. Previous to walking into their store I was at the other big name across the freeway. The companies are 180 as far as customer service goes. When I walked in I met Justin and he has been my point of contact ever since. My first experience was when I was looking for my lift, like mentioned previously. Unlike the other shop (trying to get me in out quick on a cheap price) Justin took the time to figure out what my goals and direction was with the jeep. He used that information to make several recommendations. Although because of who I am I felt the need to research the kits he suggested. I spent two weeks researching kits and asking him questions before I pulled the trigger. The whole time justin was courteous and friendly just trying to help me out. This is beyond what a majority of the other shops will do for you. Other shops I have been to just want to be order takers. Not here. It is extremely hard to find good customer service and knowledge all in the same spot but they have it. I have since had more work done i.e.: gears, lockers, transfer case and the experience is always great. I even had an issue with a speed sensor from a part that was installed (manufacture issue not their fault). The part I needed was 3 days out and I was looking to get it fixed quick. Justin was quick to take the part I needed from his personal kit that he was supposed to get installed the next day to help me out. Again phenomenal customer service. Bottom line is everyone here is great. Wether you are working with Justin, Jayce, or Gino they will get you taken of. read more

This place is completely unprofessional. I brought my brand new Silverado there for a lift, exhaust, wheels, tires, side step, & chip. I was promised my truck at a certain time & it was not honored. I had to make arrangements for transportation until my truck was completed. They ordered the wrong wheels & side step. Once again changing the date of my truck being completed. After a friend reviewed my receipts and saw all the fees I paid he said that is CRAZY you paid WAYYY too much. I had called back and spoke with Justin several times about the prices. I asked again about this miscellaneous fee of $500 which he could not explain nor refund. I have no problem paying for parts & labor but their receipts were very shady & were no where near being clear what goes adjustments were made but were under $20.. I was sooo upset when I FINALLY got my truck back. I had left my brand new Silverado wheels there..They got rid of them & called me back to inform me that my chip was never installed.. I tried to contact Justin SEVERAL times to come pick up my wheels, tires, & install my chip. But no return call. I had called today & was informed my wheels & tires are gone and because it's been months there's nothing they can do about it & basically blamed it all on me.. This place has NO CLUE about customer service & completely takes advantage of new customers.. I honestly do not know how they're still in business. I'm very disappointed in my over all experience & will be telling EVERYONE about how I was treated. Also having people contact me on yelp going off on me and telling me "stop playing a victim". I brought in fox 2.0 adjustable front shocks with reservoirs, fox 2.5 rear shocks, icon aal, and camburg upper control arms. They installed everything for me, I requested they adjust everything to where I had about a 3 inch lift so I could run 285/70/r17 tires. They did not adjust to the height I wanted and at the time I didn't realize it cause I don't know to much about adjustable lifts, once I got my rims and tires is when I realized they hadn't done it. I called them and they had me bring it in, once they looked at it they knew they hadn't done what I had asked and still proceeded to charge me 200 more dollars to fix the mistake they made and realign it again cause they had to lift it more. Well once they did that they told me even though they lifted it more I wouldn't be able to run those tires on a rim with -12 offset. Even though my good friend got the same size lift as I did, with same size tires and -12 offset rims, and had them installed at the SAME EXACT PLACE, I do not understand how they can do it for someone else with the same truck and everything but can't do it for me? It's ridiculous. Looking at the stock rim and tire on the truck the caster doesn't even have it set center of the wheel well. Now I have to find a shop and spend more money for a 3rd alignment just so I can get the caster adjusted about a half inch forward so my tires don't rub. Im very disappointed the shop couldn't do right by what was originally paid for and didn't have the expertise to adjust the caster a half inch forward to keep the tires from rubbing. Worst experience with a shop honestly especially for the price I paid overall. If they did right by what they said they'd do it would be a different storybut they charged me more money for their mistake, and still couldn't even do the alignment correct. read more

If you like paying 50 - 70% MORE for particular items / parts then buy from ORW! Otherwise do your home work and research parts at competitors. read more

By far one of the most frustrating automobile experiences I've ever had. Was originally quoted three days for the parts to come in and then an hour and a half for the work. Two weeks later the parts finally arrive and two separate trips totalIng nine hours and the job still wasn't done right. I gave up and am taking it somewhere else. The guys inside sound like they know what they're talking about but be very careful. read more

These guys really went out their way to understand my project and do what they could to help, there was also no problem in returning some left over parts. Always worth asking them if there is a chance they can help; what I was doing had nothing to do with an off road vehicle. Now that I saw someone else experiencing the same thing I experienced today with misleading quote and gouging plain and simple I felt compelled to write a review. I have called ORW two days and explained that I have an LED light bar that needed to installed and replacement headlamps which I have a plug and play kit for. The tech on the phone quoted me one hour for the headlamp and about 2 hours for the LED bar. I felt that the 2 hours for the LED bar was excessive however I was willing to get the job done. When I arrived the head tech looked at the job and asked for an additional 2 hours to do the headlamps that is a total of 3 hours to install a lamp kit which came with clear wiring instruction, also he claimed that he will need to remove the whole bumper in order to install the light bar behind it which will be an additional one hour on top of the 2 already quoted. So the job scope went from 3 hours to 6!! I have by then wasted 2 hours of my day driving there and then waiting 1 hour for the analysis. I felt they were trying to run up the clock etc, also the tech said to me that people come to them because they cannot do the job themselves, I told him that this is not a reason to overcharge them. Another thing that I thought they could help with was the gate assist, an easy one screw in the gate. My old one was damaged, so I got a new one. They had a choice of removing the old one from the left side and replacing with the new one, the front desk guy said it is an easy job but I have to charge something so how about 30 minutes ? I reluctantly accepted since the job involved removing the old one. When the head came to look at the task, he suggested installing the new tail gate assist on the other side and forego removing the old one, I thought it was a good idea and will reduce the amount of work... then he proceed to propose a whole 1 hour to install tailgate assist which my 14 year have previously installed in 20 minutes. I feel they are very dishonest in the way they were trapping me in getting the work done and exaggerating the efforts needed . The attitude that "if people can do it themselves they would not come to see them" is the icing on the cake for me. Very disappointed I wasted 2+ hours of my day with these guys. read more

Brought my land cruiser in to have a Gobi rack installed. Awesome experience. Gino was the best. Got me in quick and they allowed me to have Gobi deliver the rack straight to them. Dropped the cruiser off and later that day had a sick looking rack on it put on by the best. Thanks guys! read more

Where do I start... my husband spent a grip of money on a toolbox from this establishment. It broke and he went back for a refund. Three months later he still has no resolution to this. After several attempts to contact the manufacturer with the assistance of Justin the assistant manager, TRAIL FX has not fixed this. This toolbox was several hundred dollars! They told him to destroy the old box send a pix and then they could process it. He did that...Nothing... this is such bad customer service. I think after all this BS you would think ORW would take care of it and go after the manufacture themselves. My husband has spent well over $10k in this store! It is shameful the lack of service he is receiving. Worst part he has to keep contacting them to remind them he is still waiting. They have lost a customer here. We won't be spending another dime in this store and will be sharing our experience with anyone who will listen. Goodbye ORW. read more

I called their Escondido shop for a quote to buy and have installed Hellwig's Pro Series Helper Springs. They quoted me full retail for the springs and $300 for installation. The installation fee seemed excessive so I googled "Hellwig Pro Series Helper Spring Installation" to understand why the quote was so high. The first hit I found was a video of a model who seemed to know little about vehicles installing the springs in about 15 minutes. I decided to buy the springs elsewhere and install them myself--- It took me 60 minutes to finish the job in my driveway with hand tools. ORW's quote was so exorbitantly high that I would have felt like a sucker for doing business with them. read more

Do you guys have nothing in stock. They told me they were going to have to call the manufacturer to find a part I was looking for. The guy did not want to deal with me so told me to call back tomorrow two hours before closing. They have absolutely no problem solving skills. They even told me within three minutes of the conversation to try 4wheel parts. I will not use ORW. Any company that is so quick to refer you to their competitor must be no good. read more

First of all I want to thank Justin Wright for all his assistance and forbearance! I must have call him and messaged him at least 20 times before we finally had my packaged down (not once did I feel he was exasperated or bothered with me). I own a 2017 Toyota Tacoma SR5 and now thanks to OFW I have 3" lift with 17" XD's and Tires. I got there at 9:30 am for my appointment and was told I would be out by 3:30 pm the same day and as promised everything went as planned. I am very exultant with the staff and with the service they provided to me. Throughout the day I received text and phone calls for Justin with updates on my truck like a true salesman and professional that he is. After a week of riding my truck I have to say I absolutely love the ride, height and feel of my truck. OFW really surpassed my expectations and blew me away. I also received a follow up message days later to see how my truck was doing (who does that now in days?? OFW does!!). Apart from this the store if full of goodies and aftermarket parts and accessories for any ride. Without hesitation I would 110% recommended facility to everyone! read more

I gave this place the benifit of the doubt and after spending 3000 with them, I can now see that even hoping they would have good quality work, pricing, and experience was a mistake. I found out the driveshaft they had contracted out to be made was to short and unbalanced. The ox locker cable length wasn't set correctly. The pinion degree/angle was inexcusably off. They filled my detroit dana 60 pumpkin with 75w90 synthetic despite of the manufacturer recommendation for 85w140 mineral oil. Do you think an, "at most", technical degree mechanic working at Off Road Warehouse knows more about Eaton's product than the mechanical engineers that designed, researched and teseted the detroit locker? I dont but apparently they do. To top it all off, when I called to inform them of all of this they repetitively said ,"uh huh", as if to busy to care. A honest and good shop or vendor is worth their weight in gold. This one is neither good or honest in work, pricing, or experience. Used to love these guys and there work, till yesterday. I had them install some Control arms on my vehice while they rebuilt my axles awhile back. Went back to get a lube job only for them to tell me whoever installed them did it wrong, when I said they did they didnt want to touch it or claim it was there work. They lied to me and said they didnt have it in there records when I had the physical receipt with me. Then proceeded to try to charge me almost 400$ to rebuild those arms that cost 150$ to buy. The same thing happened with my track bar they installed. I also left my jeep there overnight since I was unable to drop off on the morning of my appt. It got broken into and stuff was stolen.(not there fault) These guys used to be my go to shop, but with this experience I am thinking I will have to go back to 4WP across the freeway. To think I was a normal at this ORW and on a first name basis with them, and all three of my jeeps have work by them, it sucks to say I will not go back there. With this lack of work ethic they have shown, it scares me to think what the insides of all my axles look like. Maybe I really have the worst luck, maybe not. read more
