Brought my car in and they told me that my transmission might need to be replaced, which would have cost me thousands. They kept my car there for over a week and still had not given me a quote. A second opinion recommended that I replace my very old battery first, so I took it home and had my battery changed. My car worked fine after this and the second person saved me thousands of dollars. Every time I take my car to dealership or other places to service my car, they would let me know the issues to my car and provides me a quote. I would turn around and go to Le's Auto and I would get quality parts and install them properly for significantly less than the dealership prices. I brought my car to have Ky Le and his assistant inspect for any potential issues before a long trip to the Midwest. They found nothing despite having spent hours looking into everything. They also gave me tips and advice for driving long trips, dealing with the snow, etc. His wife didn't seem too happy about it, so finally he sold me a headlight bulb for $10 and taught me how to change it too. I'm not complaining LOL. On another occasion before that, he diagnosed some problem inside my engine, so he took apart the engine and found that he was wrong. Took my gf's car there cause there was a gas smell coming out of the car parked in the garage. Mr. Ky was very nice and knowledgable of what he was doing! He told us the fuel pump had a crack and leaking and quoted us a fair price (about $460, but of course, every circumstance is different). He was able to finish the job over night and called me early the next morning to pick up the car. He also showed me the crack on the old fuel pump as well. Slow service and expensive rates. Used to be good. I've been coming to this place for more than 20 years. I've experienced rude customer service from the lady owner. I'm a paying customer and when I came to the shop she asked me what the hell am doing here. Obviously I needed service done otherwise why would I be here. Even though this shop is honest and trust worthy but it is EXPENSIVE. There are plenty of places you can go. My family and I have going to another shop. I also got the same feedback from another customer at their shop saying the same thing I said. read more

Mr Le has been working on my car for a few years. He was recommended by uncle. His shop is located on Auto Parkway, easy to spot from the street. He has always given me reasonable timelines for work being done and fair prices. He can also do smog checks, which has been helpful as my car has gotten older. Mr Le is my go-to guy for all things auto. I've been coming here for all our cars, from simple oil changes and smog checks to troubleshooting transmission problems. This is my first Yelp review (EVER). I had a smog check done at this place because it was close to work. After talking with Ky, my first impression was that he was a knowledgeable and honest mechanic (and person). His wife was also very nice and helpful. So... I took my 03 Honda Accord in today because it started to overheat. Ky diagnosed it... well he actually plugged my fan switch back in and made sure that there were no other issues and sent me on my way. Who does that? An honest mechanic who's not trying to get over on people and cares about his reputation and future business that's who. Le replaced my front and rear brake pads recently after I've dealt with a lot of brake noise and I'm happy so far. I didn't get to speak with Le though. I wanted to find out what was causing the noise. His wife just says he replaced the parts and drove test the vehicle. The wife does all the talking. read more

I had to get my first ever smog check on my car and I went to Le's because it is so close to where I live and I saw it had great reviews. Well, they are great! I was worried when I first went because at many auto service places the customer service is just ok and since I'm a small lady, I feel like some of them can treat me like I'm stupid or just plain mean. When I entered, a very nice lady helped me right away and was smiling the whole time. She made it very simple for me to just drop off my car and paper, and then they'd give me a call when my car was done. (You can wait there if you'd like but I had already planned on just dropping off my car and returning to get it). Once my car was done, they even parked it right up front, facing out, windows slightly cracked, and put my sunshade on my window since it was such a hot day! I thought that was awesome, just the extra mile that they didn't have to do. Quick and easy, great customer service, and they don't charge you an arm and a leg for it either. read more
