The place is very small and minimalist, with only a few options to choose from. We did have to wait a little while longer since one of our drinks were made wrong, but other than that, no major gripes. I got the Strawberry Mango Matcha and each layer was very nice and flavorful. The mango came through very nicely, as well as the strawberry jam at the bottom. I was not in love with the matcha blend they used, but it was definitely better than most. For sure a great option if you're looking for good drinks.

I thought many items on the menu are unique and never seen before, like the salted yuzu dirty, which tasted surprisingly good to me (but may be an acquired taste to some). The matcha latte and pistachio latte were good as well and the Rooicoco was interesting but very refreshing. You'd enjoy it if you like coconut milk like I do! May I add, all the drinks are beautifully presented.
Found this place in flushing area of New York. Got the strawberry mango matcha without the strawberry because I thought it might be too many flavors. It has a nice, subtle tang from the yuzu that works surprisingly well, and it's thankfully not overly sweet Black Sesame Latte (4.5/5): Smooth, well-balanced, and hits just the right level of sweetness Definitely a great spot if you're looking to try something beyond your standard espresso drinks

It was on the pricier side (iirc it came out to about $8 before tips) but nothing outrageous in the context of NY. Would love to see them open more locations in Manhattan & Brooklyn!
A solid coffee shop in the heart of Flushing. If you're seeking serious espresso and near the 7 train (and main street of Flushing), Off-Peak Coffee is the place to stop by for a cup of joe to-go. They use Devoción Coffee beans for their base so expect quality locally brand roasted beans. They have their own specialty drinks that are staples since they opened a few years ago. However there are a rotating flavors for those interested in seasonal drinks. The owners are the same as the locally famous Shakalaka and the Flatiron favorite SALSWEE. A to-go "off-peak" coffee destination also nearby the LIRR. I love that their drinks speak toward the community: Asian flavors of durian, yuzu, matcha, black sesame to name a few. Service is good. They are cordial and fast. Space is clean and small with a modern young interior. Recommend: Salted Yuzu Dirty- a taste of salted espresso with hints of yuzu and salt and plum powder to give that hint of sweet and sour salted notes. I also loved their durian drink when they first opened. Hopefully they bring it back. Accepts cash, card and Applepay. No bathrooms, small shop. Takeout only.

Unfortunately didn't live up to my expectations. I ordered the pistachio latte, black sesame latte, and a reg latte. The drinks lacked a lot of flavor and you could barely taste coffee. I couldnt taste the pistachio from the cream, the black sesame tasted more burnt than a sweet sesame; the reg latte was prob the best out of the 3. I did rlly like the aesthetic and vibe of the shop and the staff were super friendly and funny. I wouldn't go out my way for this place, but willing to try again in the future!
During last Friday's visit to Flushing, I checked out Off-Peak Coffee again. I had been here once and then it had closed. Now it has reopened. How lovely. The menu is about the same and I plan to have the pistachio latte on my next visit. As I had just enjoyed the mango parfait at Tangram mall I did not have any appetite.

If you're looking for an iced coffee or matcha drink that's not too sweet and a little unique, this is the perfect spot for you. With options like a coconut roiboos tea with coffee, black sesame latte, etc, everything has a fun twist. The drinks are a little small but are super reasonably priced. I got to try the rococo, the pistachio latte, the matcha latte, and the black sesame latte. Each one was really good, not too sweet, and had a strong flavor. The place is very small with no seating, so you have to take the drinks to go. It's a quick order and get out, so not much service here. read more

Very similar to M Cafe in LA as far as taste profile! Not the best not the worst tbh W cafe is better and is only a couple blocks away. The mango matcha was a bit too many flavors for me. As of last week, I finally decided to be lactose free and they said we can't switch out the milk bc it's prebatched which is a tad disappointing. I just think there was too much hype around this place. I will say flushing is more for boba anyways than matcha. I like the green marble counters. Very small to go type of cafe! read more
We revisited. Still agree on the fact that service was fine but it does lack any kind of personality lol. We definitely had to grab another Strawberry Mango Matcha because it was good from last time. We also picked up a Black Sesame Latte and a Rooicoco (coconut water, roiboos tea, cold brew, coconut foam, coconut flakes). The Black Sesame cream foam was very thick so it was very hard to drink the espresso/milk through it. I love black sesame but the taste almost overpowered the drink. Would come back for the Strawberry Mango Matcha as it was good once again. read more

This place is cute but super small right in downtown Flushing. This is a place where you grab and go. There is no seating area here. The drinks are creative, well-crafted, and not overly sweet. The friendly service and quality coffee make it well worth the visit. read more

This place has no seats and the interior is modern. At first I was skeptical with the limited menu selection. BUT with limited menu CAME QUALITY DRINKS!!! The matcha dirty sent me into another realm of matcha love. It was sooo creamy and matcha tasted premium. I don't like black sesame but this is something that reversed my dislike. I'm not a huge drink guy, but I can personally say that the matcha mango raspberry drink was one of the best drinks I've ever had! The flavors were so well balanced. It had just the right amount of sweetness and tartness, and the matcha flavor was still very present. The atmosphere inside is clean and modern and service moves quickly. The store itself is a little tight, and there's not really any room to dine inside, but that's okay. It doesn't affect the experience at all. read more

Great little spot for a grab-and-go coffee. The menu focuses mostly on iced, layered espresso drinks with different flavors and foams. I tried a classic, the pistachio latte. The espresso and milk were smooth and rich with no added sweetener, which I really appreciated. The pistachio foam had a natural, nutty flavor rather than the artificial, overly sweet taste that pistachio drinks often have. As someone who loves iced drinks with foams (especially ones that aren't overly sweet!) the pistachio latte was exceptionally good, even on the 20 degree day I got it. Next time, I'd like to try the tropical punch with durian foam or the black sesame latte. read more
Was excited to come here because of the strawberry mango matcha I saw on social media! Ordered it and left feeling a little disappointed. Matcha flavor wasn't as strong as I thought it'd be. Mango cold foam was really yummy, but once you drink it with the strawberries, all you taste is cut up strawberries. It felt more like I was eating the strawberries as opposed to drinking it with the matcha! Wish it was a bit more jam-like. FYI this drink use whole milk, and can't be substituted for oat or another plant based milk so just a heads up! Service was friendly. Store was nicely renovated and takes to-go orders only. If you're curious or in the area, still worth checking it out to see for yourself! read more
Yum! Unique and aesthetic coffee and tea drinks to grab-and-go. The Strawberry Mango Matcha is a delicious combo - I often find that mango flavors in drinks can taste very artificial, but I enjoyed the mango cold foam in this one. I also tried the Rooicoco, which was a refreshing coconutty cold brew. For both drinks, I'd recommend mixing them rather than sipping. Will be back to try their other interesting drinks! read more
Such a nice change to see a new coffee spot open up on Main St instead of yet another bubble tea place. This place is really small - just a counter to order your drink and no bar seating. Expect to just walk in, order, and leave. I guess this is also owned by SALSWEE (similar to SHAKALAKA Bakery on Roosevelt Ave) because they served some of the drinks in branded cups. Wow! I am very impressed, I ordered the strawberry mango matcha latte and the mango cream top definitely carried the drink. In my own opinion, the strawberry puree is just okay because it tastes just like crushed up strawberries. However, I can tell the matcha is high quality and the mango cream is just heavenly. A very small interior with no seating so that's just the one down side. Will go back again soon to try the other drinks! read more

This qaa genuinely one of the best matchas I've had on my trip to New York! We stopped by monday morning around 8:30am and there were a few other customers already. Service was great and it's a small aesthetic shop. I have never seen a place with Strawberry and Mango matcha so I was really excited to try it! I was not disappointed at all and finished my drink super quickly due to how good it was. I even contemplated getting a second one! I miss the matcha here and I would definitely come back. read more
Came to this Flushings coffee shop try their black sesame latte. The drink had a lovely presentation with black sesame sprinkled on top. Not too sweet and the latte had hints of black sesame flavor though not as strong as I was anticipating and mostly tasted like a regular latte to me. The area inside the shop is small but super cute where you place your order at a counter (no seating), so be prepared to grab and go. Staff were super friendly. read more

A very small coffee/tea shop in flushing. It can get cramped in there but the line moves fast, and drinks are ready in a few minutes. I got their most popular drink - strawberry mango matcha. Their matcha is pre-made which some people might dislike but it was fine for me. I was worried the drink might be too sweet with both the mango cold foam and strawberry syrup on the bottom but they did a good job of getting the perfect balance of just sweet enough. I was in the area and decided to stop in. The decor is a classic high end coffee shop with minimal design. There's no place to sit and you just approach the counter to order. The staff came immediately to assist. The menu is limited and so I decided to get pistachios latte with oatmilk. Since I prefer almond or soy a little disappointed. The price also is on the higher end at about $9. It was smooth and I wonder if the pistachio cream is made of cream. I would recommend the staff ask their customers just in case they are lactose intolerant. Thankfully I can handle a little so I should be fine. Glad I tried it but probably would not again. read more
I really wanted to try one of their matcha lattes but unfortunately they ran out by the time I got there in the evening. Instead, I opted for their black sesame latte. The latte itself was good. Smooth espresso flavor. The black sesame foam on top was tasty but I do think the nutty flavor could've been stronger as well as a bit more sweet! Very cute minimalist interior inside. read more

I really loved this coffee shop! It's a very small shop, with just enough space to watch the bartender- uh, I mean barista- make your drink. I love the Tropical Punch (really interesting drink using durian cream. It does have a bit of the funky smell of durian, but the drink itself tastes more like flavors of mango, a sweet fruit taste) and the Rooicoco (if you're a fan of coconut this is for you!) Very nice service as well. They make sure customers are satisfied with their drinks! read more
Ordered: Iced Pistachio Latte (~$7): Whole Milk, Espresso, Pistachio Cream Foam Iced Lava Americano (~$4): creamy espresso Aya's take: Off Peak is a super small cafe with a modern aesthetic and specialty menu. We went with 2 special drinks. The Iced Pistachio Latte was lightly sweet, creamy & foamy, and nutty from the pistachio. The Iced Lava Americano was similar to a shaken espresso but was slightly too acidic for my liking. I would recommend sticking to their cold foam based drinks here since they do them really well. Omg finally!! A coffee shop right on Main Street. It's situated right by TD Bank, where it used to be a Tea Song (bubble tea shop) I had been waiting for this moment haha. As soon as I walked into those doors, I was immediately greeted. The interior they had done with this place is so pretty, clean & neat. it's cute. There's a cute hand washing station. They serve Devotion Coffee! (A++) I ended up getting the ROOICOCO which is one of their signature drinks. It's sweet, tangy and strong which I really like. For my lactose intolerance people, stay away! (I did not- lol) the coconut water takes away the bitternesss of the cold brew. The tea makes the flavor while the coconut foam (made with heavy cream) and the flakes complements it so well. I'd definitely would be visiting every week c: read more

Might be a small place, but they have some unique coffee drinks. Service was fast and efficient. I enjoyed the fruity coffee drinks that they have. The addition of small pieces of fruit and some additional floral flavors really provides a unique take on cold brew coffee. It creates a very refreshing coffee that really wakes up your palate :) read more
