Great little spot! The coffee I got was amazing and I could actually drink it right away with no burned tongue-always a plus! I ordered the Asian chicken wrap and sweet potato fries and it came out quick and delicious. The wrap was more than filling and the staff was super attentive and kind. Great place for breakfast or a gourmet coffee. They recently renovated the interior and now have table service. Really good lunches too. I had the croissant breakfast sandwich, which was both huge and delicious. They also brought me a complimentary biscuit and homemade jam before my meal. Just the right size and amazing fresh made jam. I'd recommend this place weekday breakfast, coffee or lunch. Stopped in for breakfast on a Monday morning and discovered super friendly staff in this cozy little cafe. Food-wise, they have all the standard breakfast options, but what really made my experience was the regular that greeted me with a "Howdy!" as he came in. Ordered first time via Door Dash today. Very impressed guys. The veggie burrito is MASSIVE and stocked full of delicious grilled veggies, rice and beans. It's perfection. The side of salmon I ordered was also fantastic, not too dry, still moist. I haven't tried the soup yet but it looks and smells great also. Only negative comment would be that I ordered the soup/bread combo and I wasn't provided with the bread side. We will order from here many times again. I can't wait to try more items. read more

Bleh. Our experience here was not so good. We had to order twice - everything we ordered the first time was unavailable. Even though we were two of only ten people in the place (including a table of six that already had their food), we waited almost a half hour for a bowl of soup and a wrap. The food wasn't very good - the roasted pepper soup was bland and the sweet potato fries tasted like they'd been reheated (that soggy/greasy taste things get in the microwave). Worst weekend service I've ever experienced. All three waitresses were horrible and rude. I waited 15 min for someone to acknowledge us, then sat down, had to beg for water and silverware, ordered and after an hour we left. The table next to us must have been the waitresses friends so they got prompt service and acknowledgement. The other table next to use as they were leaving told us "good luck" I asked to speak to the owner and literally nothing, zip. Delicious Homemade food and family friendly environment make this our little secret spot. It is off the beaten path next to Good Sam Hospital so not totally on mainstream radar. Whenever I'm in the area and want breakfast it is a place that is convenient to get to. The majority of the time it's A very good breakfast but I ordered the fresh crepes and it just tastes like a regular omelette with blueberries on it,a bit of cream cheese and syrup. Needless to say I was less than impressed with the breakfast. I have ordered the crepes before and we're very satisfactory. The downside to the off-campus café are the waitresses. They seem like they have something better to do and you're an inconvenience. A smile can go a long way I just didn't feel welcomed and since I Was the only person in the restaurant I would have thought that there would've been some attention to my breakfast and to see if I needed anything else, The waitress did not come to my table not once to see if everything was satisfactory or if there was anything else I needed. Overall I would probably just make a little further trip north to try another place and just drive-by off-campus café. read more

We went for brunch on the weekend and the business was steady, but we were able to be seated right away, which is amazing. The veggie burrito was excellent and they happily accommodated all of my special requests. The server was very friendly and the prices were great. Tried the Off Campus Cafe today. It is off the beaten path of 287 and the outside is inconspicous but don't let that stop you. The food and service were superb! Ordered a sourdough grilled cheese sandwich with havarti and salmon, and a sprinkling of parmesan. The chef brought out porcino cheese from Italy for us to try. It made a fabulous sandwich with the addition of spinach. Side was baked sea salt sweet potato fries with maple syrup to dip them in. Don't miss trying this cafe near Kaiser and Lionsgate in Lafayette. read more

The server was very friendly and as soon as we walked in offered our 3 yr old some coloring books and a big box of crayons. The mocha I had was really good... Have been there a couple of times for breakfast and the food was terrific. Went for lunch for the first time today and while the food was still great, the waitstaff were terrible. When we walked in one of the staff was at the register and just looked at us blankly, no welcome at all and her work went downhill from there. We grabbed menus and took a seat, chose what we'd order and waited for the waitress. I finally caught her eye and she yelled from the register that there was only counter service at lunch. Went up to the counter to order and another staff person was there and she was similarly unfriendly. When I swiped my card I was only given the options of no tip or 15% or more tip. In the moment I selected 15% and ended up paying a $5 tip for non-existent service and borderline rudeness. When the first waitress brought our food to our table, again completely blank. Asked for ketchup, no response, my mom asked for more napkins no response and yet she must have heard us since she brought both. I love to give business to local restaurants over chains and want to be excited to go back here for the food, but I'm just so turned off by the rudeness that I'm not sure I'll go back. Please train your staff to be friendly to customers, it goes a long way. read more

Met a dear friend here (who actually helps bake the lovely pies and quick breads in house). Have heard great things about the place, and finally made it... on Fish Fry Friday of all days... which unfortunately I didn't get a chance to eat. Looked sinfully yummy though! My body was up for something light... so had the Asian Salad with an addition of salmon (for only $2... the salmon... which was perfectly cooked, seasoned, and portioned). The dressing was lovely... a sesame ginger vinaigrette!! Great staff... everybody is doing their do... and working hard!!!! Yeah, it's good. You're guaranteed to score with anything you order. The specials are delicious, and there are plenty of different burgers to choose from, including the aussie burger, which is amazing, grab extra napkins though... it's a big one. The tall chef makes his own blue cheese, among other things, which creates an incredible blue burger, he must love blue cheese. All the desserts are hand made by a sweet pastry genius, you should definitely get a cinnabun or some pie... you'll die happy. Great way to get full on just a few bucks. read more

We returned for breakfast, because we knew the food was good, but this morning, even though we found a table quickly, it was 10 minutes before we received menus, and were allowed to order coffee. No glasses for water, though. After waiting another ten minutes, the coffee didn't arrive. 20 minutes with no service! We walked. I doubt we'll be back. Saturday mornings are busy times for breakfast places. How could you not staff properly to provide even adequate customer service? Boycott bad customer service, everyone.
