So happy I finally made a reservation here! My cousin and I came here on a Wednesday night and were seated right away. She had been here multiple times and this was my first so she suggested we order the Bodega Salad. Perfect amount of lettuce to meat ratio. Now I know why it's so popular! For my entree I ordered the angoletti. It was divine! Note- we didn't order any drinks or dessert but would definitely try on my next visit!

Small cozy little restaurant with amazing food and great service. Such a great experience! My sister and I came to celebrate our husbands' birthdays and the Sunday dinner at ODO was amazing. Maria made sure we were taken care of. She was very attentive and so welcoming. Like going to your family's house for dinner. Everything was spectacular. The homemade mozzarella and focaccia bread. The mustard greens were amazing! The ribeye was ridiculous! Seriously so tender you didn't need a knife and the sauce was delicious too. We enjoyed the food, the attention and nice warm atmosphere. Cannot wait to return.

I was first alerted to ODO by my mother who had read about it in Westchester Magazine. My first thought was, okay it's yet another Italian spot in Westchester, but after one of my friends also talked it up I started to pay more attention. Since I hadn't seen my friend in a while, we thought coming to ODO was the perfect opportunity to catch up and check this new place out - so off we went. ODO sits on Main St in Tuckahoe - the restaurant has a small exterior which extended inside. This is not a big spot at all - it's narrow with maybe like 10 or so tables and bar seating towards the back. The interior is simply decorated - lots of wood tones everywhere with pops of decor and quirky art on the walls. The restaurant was also louder than I expected, but it kinda fit into the aesthetic - this is not a traditional red sauce Italian spot; it's more modern and focuses on Abruzzese cuisine. The menu is not large, but they have a good selection separated by small plates, starters, pasta, mains, and sides - additionally they had a few specials. We got drinks and I chose the Mona Lisa (Campari and pineapple juice) - it was smooth and refreshing. We then decided to start with three apps: the scarpetta (house bread), the bodega salad, and the palotte cacio pepe. The scarpetta was good - the bread had a light sprinkle of salt, and the vesta sauce it was paired with was a good complement without being too rich or overpowering. I really liked the bodega salad - our server described it as an Italian combo without the bread and that's exactly what it was - shreds of iceberg, meats and cheeses in a tasty dressing. I appreciated the fact that it was not too salty - something that could have easily happened given all the cold cuts. I wasn't a fan of the palotte cacio pepe - the texture didn't sit right with me and I didn't find the cheese in the middle to be as gooey as I would like; the sauce that it was topped with didn't provide much flavor either. I decided on pasta for my main, and went with the lumache which was paired with lobster, lemon, and oregano. I really liked the dish - the pasts was super al dente which I loved, and there was a generous portion of lobster incorporated into the dish. The lemon and oregano were subtle but just enough to add to the dish without overpowering it. Pasta is really an indulgence treat for me, and they definitely made spending my discretionary calories worth it. For dessert we split two of their selections: pizelle with Nutella and a blueberry budino. The pizelle were made like sandwiches with the Nutella in the middle. I love Nutella and I love pizelle, but sandwiching them made the pizelle a little soft - I like them nice and crispy (I still ate them of course ;-). The budino was fine too - the blueberries added a nice sweetness to the dish. Service was good - everyone we interacted with was really friendly, and all the food came out at a good pace. Overall, I had a great first experience at ODO - Italian restaurant competition is tough in Westchester, but they served creative dishes made with fresh ingredients. I would definitely return if given the opportunity.

What a treat! I got to experience this restaurant on Saturday night and can't wait to go back! Our waitress, Maria, was a doll. She explained every entrée and appetizer on the menu and told us what the favorites were. We started with the Scarpetta appetizer And the speducc. The speducc was extremely tasty and the lamb was tender and flavorful. Now for the Scarpetta... it was an amazing focaccia with some char on the outside and this wonderful Buttery herbed sauce for dipping. Amazing! For entrées, we ordered the brasciole with gnocchi and the pasta Bolognese. The brasciole was tender and really delicious in a nice pool of homemade sauce... but the gnocchi were gorgeous pillows of perfection. Loved it! The Bolognese sauce was rich and delicious on top of beautiful triangular penne pasta. Really different and perfect. This meal was seriously amazing! I can't wait to eat my way through their menu!

House-cured prosciutto. So good - could just snack on this with a few glasses of wine and Scarpetta.

This place is a GEM. Cozy spot inside, and often full, so book in advance. They have 6 seats at the bar near the kitchen, which is also a great spot for dining and watching the BOH staff work on your delicious dishes. Some favorites that are not to be missed, IMO, are the speducc (little cubes of lamb that are grilled on skewers sprinkled with flaky salt, and the aglio e olio.) It's almost impossible for me to try other things because these two dishes are so good. But the rest of the menu is fantastic, including the Cacio e pepe palotte, house-cured prosciutto, the Cotoletta (pounded, breaded, fried cutlet), scarpetta, and a fantastic steak. Dan and Maria, who are often in the FOH or behind the bar, are as gracious as they come. A place where you'll feel like family and decide to have another drink to stay just a bit longer.

They need to change that and go Italian or classical. Served hot rolls which were great and came with an eggplant spread. Very good. My hubby ordered the octopus salad. Excellent. He ordered the black squid ink pasta with lump crab. AWFUL. AWFUL. He is from Rome so I'm not surprised he didn't like it. It was just dried black pasta with canned fake crab all floating in water, not a sauce. I had the Bolognese with fettuccine. I knew if this restaurant was truly good, the dish would say it all. It did. No flavor AT ALL! The pasta was exactly the same as those noodles you get with Raman noodles in the grocery store. It was strange. I tried to eat it and then I see my husband fish out a hair from his dish. That was that. Got the check without a complaint from us. You are given no choice but to start tipping at 20% and up. Just an fyi. I do not understand why the reviews here are glowing. Same on Google. Sorry. I'm not believing them. I won't be back. And btw, there were 6 tables by 6pm. They're not as busy as they lead you to believe.

We even ran into an old friend who lives nearby, and she confirmed what the vibe already suggested, this is very much a go-to spot for locals. Parking is manageable. There's metered street parking, and if that's tight, there's a paid lot around the corner with plenty of space, which makes things easier. Service was solid. Our waitress had clearly been there a while and carried that local familiarity, comfortable, knowledgeable, and attentive without overdoing it. To drink, I ordered The Perfect Gentleman, and it lived up to the name. You immediately pick up the chamomile aroma, which gives it a really smooth, refined feel. A well-crafted cocktail. We started with the Crema Di Burrata and Arancini alla Piemontese, both were excellent. The burrata was fresh and creamy with just the right balance of seasoning, and the truffle and mushroom risotto balls delivered great flavor and texture. For dinner, we shared the Goat Cheese Pizza. While the combination of walnuts, balsamic red onions, baby arugula, and truffle honey sounded great on paper, it came out a bit on the drier side and felt like it was missing that extra punch to bring it all together. We wrapped up with Hazelnut Chocolate bonbons, which were a nice, sweet finish to the meal. We went in not overly hungry, but between the apps, pizza, and dessert, it ended up being more than enough. Overall, it's easy to see why this place has a strong local following. Definitely a spot I'd recommend, especially if you're in or around Eastchester.
