Came here for a casual dinner with my wife, and it turned into one of those nights where you're reminded why certain places become local staples. We even ran into an old friend who lives nearby, and she confirmed what the vibe already suggested, this is very much a go-to spot for locals. Parking is manageable. There's metered street parking, and if that's tight, there's a paid lot around the corner with plenty of space, which makes things easier. Service was solid. Our waitress had clearly been there a while and carried that local familiarity, comfortable, knowledgeable, and attentive without overdoing it. To drink, I ordered The Perfect Gentleman, and it lived up to the name. You immediately pick up the chamomile aroma, which gives it a really smooth, refined feel. A well-crafted cocktail. We started with the Crema Di Burrata and Arancini alla Piemontese, both were excellent. The burrata was fresh and creamy with just the right balance of seasoning, and the truffle and mushroom risotto balls delivered great flavor and texture. For dinner, we shared the Goat Cheese Pizza. While the combination of walnuts, balsamic red onions, baby arugula, and truffle honey sounded great on paper, it came out a bit on the drier side and felt like it was missing that extra punch to bring it all together. We wrapped up with Hazelnut Chocolate bonbons, which were a nice, sweet finish to the meal. We went in not overly hungry, but between the apps, pizza, and dessert, it ended up being more than enough. Overall, it's easy to see why this place has a strong local following. Definitely a spot I'd recommend, especially if you're in or around Eastchester.

We had the pleasure of eating at Burrata. The staff were wonderful and very attentive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Brick oven pizza and as you sip on your wine the heat will keep you nice and warm[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Beautiful, romantic, and best part of it all is each dish was 10/10.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Without a doubt we will return.

Good Italian restaurant. Came here with large party. They have some good italian dishes, but what i mainly like is the brussel sprouts and the pizzas. The prices are a little on the higher end, but service is really good and I havent had a bad meal. I recommend making a reservation (even weekdays) because this place is always packed during regular dinner hours.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]First time at Burrata and it was sooo cute![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a great local spot for date night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's pretty quiet and the staff was super friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I literally cannot stop thinking about their truffle arancini, it was one of the best I've had! The pappardelle was delicious and I'm not big of mushrooms. The Brussels sprouts were so good, unfortunately it had bacon but that definitely gave it its flavor. Overall, Burrata was great and I'm definitely adding it to my local favorite restaurants!

Me and my partner ordered a pasta each, as well as the J Sexton pizza to share. The pizza was good, but the pasta was the stand out for both of us. I give the pappardelle five out of five, no notes. Per my partner, the agnolotti were "buttery pillows of goodness filled with yum". Wine selection was complementary to the menu. Will come back for dessert because we were too full!

I ' m back on Friday @ 5:30. Seated right away. Ordered crema di Burrata for an appetizer which is very tasty. I also went for the Anglotti which are their pasta filled with short ribs. The sauce adds to the flavor. There were plenty of empty tables at 5:30 so there was no noise at all. Our server was pleasant and efficient. Home run again. Sal E New Rochelle

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Very nice place in Scarsdale ![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is lovely and the service was great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu proposes some classic of Italian cuisine, as well as pizzas. We shared some arancini as a starter and then I ordered the rigatoni with Duck Raggu. It was delicious. The pasta were al dente And we finished with a tiramisu( the presentation was original) I will definitely go back and try their pizzas

Stopped in and we were so fortunate to get a table here and so happy - there is a nice energy and the restaurant was y busy. the young woman taking names was able to seat us within a short time . The meal here was amazing. Our table shared a variety of dishes , veal meatballs, eggplant, potato leek soup for appetizers - , margarita pizza , marina pasta mains and Nutella pizza for dessert . Four people - plenty of food , delicious cappuccino. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance was nice as well - they have two rooms - one near the bar and pizza oven and one quieter back room where we sat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We also had a very fun attentive waitress . Highly recommended- great staff , lovely place, we will be back again soon!

This place is fantastic! You know it's going to be good when you can't decide what to order! We got the calamari to start, delicious. Lightly coated, perfectly cooked, and the dipping sauce was well balanced and creamy. I got the gnochetti and it was amazing!! Delicious flavor and texture and I love the size of the pasta. 10/10. The service is super friendly and nice. Our wait staff was very tentative to our needs. This place is definitely more on the fancier side. But the ambiance is classy and chic for a more upscale Italian restaurant. I would totally come back to try the rest of the menu!!

My friend brought my family and me here for my bday dinner. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Atmosphere is warm and the servers are friendly and attentive.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered the J sexton pizza, 2 pastas, octopus plus brussel sprouts. I loved the pizza. Crust was airy and had creamy burrata top. The mushroom pappardelle and lamb ragu gnochetti were both good but I preferred the latter. My friend loved the mushroom. The octopus was a hit with my son so he got most of it. It was char grilled and very nice. Served with some potatoes. The brussel sprouts might be one of my faves. It had a hint of sweetness and char which I found addicting. We ended with the donuts which were so much better than I expected. They served it with a candle and song which was nice. It's a bit pricey so it a nice special occasion place. Would definitely come back.

One of the best meals we've had! We walked in with no reservation and were seated promptly by a friendly hostess. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance and decor was soft and relaxing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was great, attentive. My husband and I shared the calamari appetizer. The flavors of the calamari sauce blended superbly with the calamari. Our homemade pasta entrees were the perfect size and delicious. And the cascading tiramisu we shared was the best tiramisu we've ever had. Parking was not the best but the hostess advised us where to park as we were just traveling through. You will not be disappointed. Enjoy!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The food and ambiance were great![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We got the salad, arancini, and bread to start. All were great with enough food to share. We also got the burrata pizza and that was delicious if you like mushrooms! The Nutella pizza was just OK. Also the service was super slow... took FOREVER to order more drinks, order dessert, and get the check.

DoorDash delivery. I got the soppressata pizza (spicy Spanish sausage, and it was spicy). I also got the Brussels sprouts. I'm giving this spot a five for a couple reasons. One, the food was pretty good, though not the best I've ever had. The pizza was indeed spicy and full of flavor, however had a burned taste to the outer crust (I know this is unavoidable at times with a pizza oven--this was just really pronounced). Also, there was a lot more crust than pizza overall (that's my personal preference). The Brussels sprouts were decent, and I liked the bacon flavor, but they also were a little oily. I realize most Brussels sprouts should have a char, but mine may have had a bit of a bitter burned flavor. Something new I learned from their recipe: it's served with robiolina, which is full-fat cow's milk. It was rich and creamy! I am also rating five stars because I realize I ordered delivery, and this spot looks like it would be great to try in-house. The pasta dishes look delicious: spaghetti, agnolotti with short ribbed filled pasta, butter, and aged balsamic. I'm also enthralled by the thought of tryin the gnocchetti (lamb bolognese, ricotta, pistachios) and the pappardelle (mushrooms, shallots, butter, white wine). They also have sexy looking ravioli, rigatoni. There are several other types of pizza: shrooms and jalapeño, prosciutto, Margherita, goat cheese, and more. I would love to have the zeppole: mini ricotta doughnuts and cream pasticcera. Anyway . . . my delivery was fine. But I GOTTA try this place in person, sitting down, maybe a multi-course meal with a friend. Pretty sure I read the chef is a Michelin chef. What a bodacious looking menu.

I opted for water as my grandson did and his fiancé order a glass of white wine. It was Sauvignon Blanc, and she found very satisfying. For an appetizer, we shared a truffle pizza. It was a different flavor that I never had before, but very tasty. For entrees they ordered a sliced steak and chicken parm. I went for the seared duck with mushroom gravy. I never had duck served this way. I really really enjoyed it. No one wanted a dessert so my grandson ordered espresso and I ordered a cappuccino. The waitress brought us thin slices of powdered sugar biscotti as a compliment. The ambience is quiet and cozy and dimly lit with an electric light on each table. On the menu it mentions like this restaurant is a sister location of Cafe Alia, also in Scarsdale. This was an excellent choice for Thursday night. You won't be disappointed.Sal E. New Rochelle

The rigatoni was tasty but the pasta was overcooked. Maybe that's a function of getting pasta delivered where it keeps cooking on the way... I like how they did the Caesar. Shaved parmigiana with the (very good) dressing on the side. All in all, the pizza roll and the Caesar salad were the best things we had. The pizza was good, not great (crust was a little soft. Cheese was ok. Super light on the sauce). I wouldn't get the pasta to go - maybe try again for eat-in. The cheesecake piece was insultingly small. Original 1 star rating: AVOID!!!!!!!!! I ordered online and had the thin crust marinara and basil pizza and I added extra toppings on half. I also ordered a pizza roll with chicken and a piece of cheesecake. THE PIZZA HAD NO CHEESE!!! (Picture attached). And when I called to ask about it, they said that's by design. You would think if they were selling a pizza with no cheese (for a higher price than the regular pizza), it would say "NO CHEESE". Also, they put toppings on the whole pizza. So dinner with my kids (who only eat cheese pizza) was ruined. I do want to point out that the pizza roll was very good. However, the cheesecake piece was tiny (picture attached). After checking the menu to confirm that it doesn't say "no cheese", I called back and they said "thanks for the feedback". I gave them two chances to make it right. After a long day of travel and looking forward to a good slice of NY Pizza, this was a huge letdown. UPDATE: They called me this morning to apologize. They thought they had taken that menu item down exactly because of this kind of confusion over the cheese but a recent systems update seems to have inadvertently added it back to their online menu without the proper explanation. They have offered me a free pizza to make this right. The explanation and the offer seem reasonable and genuine. I will give them another shot.

Well my husband is from CT and he wanted to give it a try six years later (again). Reluctantly I agreed after looking through reviews. I have to say. We did half plain half and pepp. I wasn't a fan of the way their pepp came out but the plain was delicious and I would certainly order it again. For some reasons the pizza was cut into kiddie slices which I don't understand. It may have tricked my brain bc i felt hungry after. The pizza was thin, crispy, and flavorful. A power combo. Only downside was very burnt crust ends which I couldn't eat bc they were so burnt even though I was still hungry. Would def try again and sooner!

As you read please refer to the photos …read more No ambiance as this was a delivery, and a failed attempt at one to say the least. It is very rare that I leave a review that doesn't compliment a business. I generally prefer to recognize businesses that do a great job, but this experience was disappointing enough that I feel it needs to be addressed by management and ownership. We only live two blocks away, only two blocks away! Both pizzas arrived lukewarm at best, certainly not hot. For a restaurant this close, that simply shouldn't happen. The pepperoni pizza arrived with one side folded over onto itself because the pie wasn't even round to begin with. It appears it was forced into a box that was too small or packaged carelessly. I honestly don't understand how someone boxing the pizza wouldn't notice that it did not fit, and was folded before sending it out. (See photos) The Margherita pizza was also poorly prepared. Multiple slices were missing ingredients, with very little fresh mozzarella and basil on portions of the pie. It looked rushed and inconsistent rather than something that had any pride put into it. (See photos) The delivery experience only made things worse. The restaurant and driver send text messages stating the driver has arrived, (See photo of text messages) which I only happened to see because I went upstairs to grab my phone to make a call. When I opened the door, the driver was already halfway down the walkway, and not standing in our doorstep. I asked if he had rung the doorbell, or knocked, and he said no because he "avoids ringing doorbells because people get annoyed." I explained that not everyone walks around their home with their mobile phone in their hand or pocket, and many people don't even have their ringtone on. If someone is in another room, say from their phone, how are they supposed to know their food has arrived if the driver doesn't knock or ring the bell? Hi are they to respond to the company sending them texts implying that the customer is the reason the delivery isn't going smoothly? To make matters even more confusing, the driver showed up about 30 minutes earlier than the online ordering system indicated. Thats great! However, the estimated delivery time was 7:15 PM, according to the online delivery system, so naturally we weren't expecting anyone yet. Had I not randomly picked up my phone, that was upstairs in our room, our pizzas could have been returned to the vendor, not delivered as expected, while getting even colder. We almost always order from Eurotalia (also 2 blocks away in the other direction) because their pizza is outstanding and they have never failed to satisfy us, as well as it arrives piping hot! Unfortunately they were closed for vacation, so we decided to try Frank Pepe instead. Based on this experience, we won't be making that mistake again. Considering these pizzas cost more than what you'd pay at the average neighborhood pizzeria, I expected a much higher level of quality, care, and customer service. Cold food, careless packaging, incomplete toppings, and a delivery process that relies solely on text messages without even ringing the doorbell, or knocking on the door is simply unacceptable. It doesn't state when you order online, please keep your phone close by for delivery." Common... I sincerely hope management takes these concerns seriously because there is a lot here that needs improvement. I'm even more bothered to write such a review as this one.
