This was recommended to us by family that had stopped here earlier, so when we found ourselves on an overnight stay in Elko this was our first choice for dinner. We were given a friendly greeting when we entered and told it would be a few minutes for a table to open up (this was on a Friday night). The waiting area it set up for to go orders with a few chairs and a large menu on the wall. I had the Kofta platter, and they had no problem subbing out the rice for salad. Wifey had the fish sandwich, which she pronounced very good. The Kofta was ground beef kebab mixed with spices, with mint forward -very nice! The hummus and tabboulah sides that came with were very good. I particularly liked the tabboulah. The staff was very friendly and the service was great, Out waiter was fantastic and very prompt, and the food came out fairly quickly. If you find yourself passing through Elko and need a nice meal this is a great place to stop. read more

Drove through Elko on a road trip and found this place on yelp. Lives up to the reputation! The food was reasonably priced and delicious. Great meat pie, falafel, hummus, etc, but the pistachio baklava stoke the show. Servers were incredibly friendly as well!! read more

If you haven't been here yet you need to go. Even though it's nothing fancy. The flavor of the food rival some of the best Mediterranean restaurants I've been to in the country. The staff is very friendly. I had the beef shawarma sandwich. It was very good I recommend trying with hot sauce. read more

Probably the best restaurant I've been to so far. Odeh's menu caters to everyone. I've tried the chicken pita which was awesome! I have yet to try the falffle but I've heard it's wonderful! The grilled chicken salad was amazing, the chicken was seasoned very well and the ingredients (tomatoes, cucumbers) were incredibly fresh. The tabouli was the best I've ever had. After a very long drive, we had food from this amazing place delivered straight to our hotel. Phone service was great! The lady who spoke to me was really nice. I ordered a lamb shawarma and a chicken in a plate. They were both tasty and filling! The pita bread they used for the shawarma is spot on! Fluffiest pita bread ever! I also had a pistachio baklava for dessert. That one was very very yummy! If you ever stay in elko area, this place is the best! Skip on fastfood and everything else.. you wont regret it! Each and every time I go through Elko I try to hit a new restaurant. Three times I have went to Odeh's and sampled something different each time. Never a bad meal. Then while talking with the father, yes a family operated business is preferred by me, I let him know that every time I've visited one thing caught my eye. Cleanliness. Regardless if the father was present or not, the employees washed their hands, before and after wearing gloves, and washed all the utensils and counters. I dare you to find another restaurant in Elko that follows this practice, it is a rarity. read more
