I ordered the Pistachio Matcha with Oat Milk + Jasmine Silk Boba at 50% sweetness. The pistachio flavor was dominant on this, and the creaminess goes well with the tea flavored boba. This actually tasted like a dessert drink to me, but it was still refreshing. It was not overly sweet, but I'd probably request even less sweetener next time. The jasmine silk boba has a fun, softer than Jello kind of texture. The staff seem friendly, though there isn't much interaction with them if you use their kiosk to place your order. The space is clean and has some benches for you to sit and wait for your order, but I don't recall seeing any tables so it's definitely a to-go kinda spot. Another unique feature of this tea shop is their delicious Shiso-silk boba. It's almost like a "mochi boba" - instead of the traditional round pearl tapioca starch balls, these mochi boba are cube-shaped jelly like, but yet chewy & squishy like a mochi. The shish-silk boba has a decent tea flavor on its own. I always get my drinks with 0% sugar as I feel the toppings add just enough sweetness to make the drink pleasurable without giving you massive sugar spike. My daughter was craving boba. We walk in and there's a whiteboard that says "out of organic Straus milk. We only have whole milk." I'm thinking we're already starting off on the wrong foot paying for a nonorganic substitution. There is a screen with countdown times, which put our drink at 14 minutes to service. So we're away for 4 minutes and come back. Timer is still counting down. A few others have their drinks called out. Apparently our cold drink was warming there when we walked in. We finally go up since our timer says 'almost done'. And she hands us the drink that has been sitting there for 10 minutes while other names have been called. Why have a screen with a timer if it's not accurate or the employees aren't using it? She turns to remake my daughter's drink - I would have been happy with an apology, but no one offered it. I was shocked when she remade it, it took 30 seconds! Then why the long wait times? I tried a few drinks from Odd One Out at Eeeeeatscon, and the Golden Buddha with winter melon jelly was my absolute favorite. The jelly is really special and pairs perfectly with the great milk tea base. My second favorite was the coconut jelly drink with coconut tea.
