Latte
Austin S.

Had to snag a quick latte from odd fox. On a pretty quiet street the bright exterior and funky name intrigued me. The interior was nice. The perfect place to study! As far as community goes, this place is it! Inclusive, accommodating, and supportive of all who enter, and they're dang proud of that, too! I love it. The latte was great also, can't forget that! Kept it simple: almond milk latte on ice. Can't beat perfection, but you can match it and they did!

This cafe became part of our rotation. Lattes are superb, fast service and presentable cafe space, lots of workers. The only thing we would recommend is providing some cinnamon at the sugar station. The line can get unorganized as the space to order and wait is unclear. But that's the beauty of Odd Fox.

Honey and cozy

Odd Fox Coffee has an incredibly homey atmosphere. It's spacious for guests to wander in and find a spot to meet an old face or new, as encouraged by their signage. The downside I would unfortunately say is the latte. The drink that I received was maybe 7/8ths milk and ice. The flavor was okay. I ultimately think you're paying for a place to reserve a spot in this quiet nook.

Came here for tea a few times, and once to study. There's a lot of seating lining the wall where the ordering counter is and a small room in the back with some tables and outlets. There's also a bathroom. Great place for the neigborhood to be able to post up and get some work done. Really like the vibe of this place. Service was nice. The tea was pretty good, too, although not something that you can mess up (it's all tea bags). Will come back for their coffee, of course, but until then take this good review to represent the functionality they serve for the neighborhood. They also have some pastries and a pretty extensive tea menu as well as a non-caffeinated menu so it really is solving all your cafe needs, which is hard to find nowadays.

Chai and Matcha. Not good lol

Possibly the worst chai I've ever had, the matcha is mid. Forcing ourselves to finish it cause it was money spent but really just tastes like water with an echo of spice. Wasn't too expensive.

Best office in the world.

Stumbled upon this gem while looking for an open, welcoming, and LGBTQ-owned space and it delivered on all fronts. The staff couldn't be more accommodating, and the coffee? Easily the best in Williamsburg

Odd fox coffee was a cute little coffee shop I got to kill sometime in, located in Brooklyn you walk in, order at the counter and grab a seat. Lots of coffee options, and organic soda. I decided to get an iced coffee since it was so damn hot! I loved my drink, the flavor was bold and not burnt. I always have to cut my coffee with cream because I like having a smoother flavor. What is noteworthy about this location is the actual space, it's typical because it's a coffee shop, but what is posted on this walls is that it's a shared location and to not set your bags on the chair across from you, but to foster the true shared work space and that a stranger may sit by you. They also have several empty frames hanging out on the walls, with random pictures every few frames. All around a cool place!

Cute Gothic Vibes, but Disappointing Service and Cold Food…read more While visiting Brooklyn with friends from out of state, we decided to stop at Ange Noir Cafe for brunch. I'll start with the positives: the café is undeniably cute. The gothic-inspired decor gives it a trendy, spooky atmosphere, and I can definitely see why people are drawn to it. Unfortunately, the experience didn't quite live up to the aesthetic. The café was pretty busy, and I understand that they appeared to be working with limited front-of-house staff. However, the service was disorganized and inattentive. Since we weren't familiar with how things worked, we didn't realize our drinks were supposed to be picked up at the counter. They sat there until the barista eventually noticed us and mentioned that they had been ready. My friends had ordered iced beverages, so it wasn't a huge issue for them, but my hot chocolate was barely warm. Then came the food. We waited approximately 35-45 minutes for our brunch. At one point, there appeared to be confusion about whether our food was supposed to be packaged to go or served for dine-in. By the time we received everything, my breakfast platter was cold. Here's the disappointing part: I genuinely believe my breakfast platter could have been a 10/10 had it been served hot. The food itself had potential, but temperature makes a huge difference, especially when ordering a hot breakfast. To be fair, my friends enjoyed their sandwiches, which were meant to be served cold or at room temperature. Unfortunately, I couldn't say the same about my meal. I really wanted to enjoy this place because the atmosphere is charming and unique. However, good aesthetics can only take a café so far. Service, communication, and food quality matter just as much. Based on this experience, I wouldn't return. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd rather try a neighborhood bagel shop or another café.

Shucks I wanted to give this place five stars but it didn't start so well. The first barista who…read moretook my order was really great. I first ordered a chai latte and he said I could do two different syrups so I got the pumpkin and salted maple, though I was worried about it being too sugary so he suggested I could just do half a pump of each. He asked me what the name of the order would be and I said "Aida" (the phonetic spelling is ah-EE-dah). And then I heard the other barista say something along the lines of, "oh Aida, how about 'Aida' rather not be here", pretty rude if you ask me. And then I ordered the spicy nook sandwich. And when another server called my named to grab it she didn't even knowledge me when I tried to thank her and instead she talked to her coworker while I was right in front of her. The sandwich was really good, so was my chai tea. I really like the pumpkin and salt and maple syrups too. I did like all the options for seating although it was pretty packed. I'd say if you have a big party get there early. By 7pm the whole place was filled. There was a huge majong club that came in and took the whole back area, it was so crammed there were lines for the bathroom. Over all I had a good time. I really like the music too just know it gets very busy in there. The employees I would say were hit or miss. The ones that were great though I really liked. Just seem like the ones who didn't really give attention to customers or were kind of rude seemed like they didn't wanna be there.
