Great iced latte, spacious seating options indoors, sidewalk seats available, nice bathroom, and beautiful decor. They also serve pastries but we did not partake. We really enjoyed the vibe and spent an afternoon reading and working here. It was never super busy but that may be because it was Fourth of July weekend. I would knock them for the persistent burnt pastry smell, which almost dissuaded me from sitting inside to enjoy our coffee, but I couldn't say no to AC during this heat wave so thank you for providing us with some reprieve!! read more

My first visit to a cafe as a greenpoint resident, exciting times. They have a happy hour special from 3-5pm Monday-Friday: $3 cold brew, $5 affogato, $7 mimosa. The cafe features local art for sale as well. Lots of different seating options and nice afternoon sunlight streams through the windows. read more

The decor of Eleva Coffee GPL is elegant, brilliant and perfect for a relaxing moment. The staff was super nice and friendly. We extremely enjoyed our time there on a Sunday morning. We had 2 cups of Latte, Breakfast Empanada, Chocolate Croissant and a box of Milk Chocolate Alfajores. The coffee was refreshing with a gentle smell and the food was overall decent. Gorgeous coffeeshop located on the tip of north Greenpoint. Eleva Coffee takes you away from the hustle and bustle of Greenpoint/Williamsburg since it's located inside one of the newly developed highrises. The space is beautifully decorated with a generous amount of tables, which are especially great for groups. I've been here several times in the early afternoon and experienced quieter settings with customers working on laptops. Personally for me, I enjoyed my times there working and drinking a nice cup of coffee or specialty drink, as they have several concoctions of their own such as a blueberry latte. The prices are reasonable and comparable to neighboring shops. What makes this coffeeshop stand out is the interior, location and the customer service. The drinks I've had were always delicious and I've tried some of their pastries; their dank matcha loaf is my favorite. Eleva also has a spacious unisex bathroom available. Accepts cash, card and Applepay. Bathroom available. Open decently late. Great for working with wifi and outlets. Indoor/outdoor and takeout available. Drink up! read more

Was in the AM when they opened and people were already waiting outside, which is a good sign. They were baking pasties so couldn't order them when we were there, so fyi when you get there when they open, they may not have pastries . read more

This is one of those places that thinks it's good, and it could be if it wasn't for the horrible customer service. It all begins with the owner, or the person in charge - a middle aged woman with black hair who saunters around the place of unwarranted arrogance. Then there's the staff who follow suit and remind themselves of how great they are and what a blessing it is for them to serve you ( reminder here, your job is to serve food, not attitude ). Their coffees are ok, and the pastries are too, but over priced. Do yourself a favor, walk down a few feet to riverside market where you'll get way better , for way less and without the entitled attitude that comes with the unhappy Brooklyn types. read more

I had a wonderful time grabbing an iced tea here after a great walk through Greenpoint. The cashier was very adept in handling my party's 3 requests for the same tea with various levels of sugar. One thing I appreciated was how this coffee shop has a clear connection with the specific village that sources their coffee. They have helped to build a school in that particular community. I think a lot of businesses in New York City. Like to talk about how they are helpful, but this place actually walks the walk. I would highly suggest it to anyone in Greenpoint. read more

My boyfriend and I came here on a brutally hot afternoon mostly because we needed an air conditioned place to kill a little bit of time. We each got a cold drink and just hung out, but after a while we noticed that we just so happened to be there for one of the only three hours of the week (Thursday-Saturday 6-7 pm) when they have a $7 espresso martini happy hour. I didn't really want alcohol, but for $7 I couldn't turn it down so we each got one. They were great! And what a good deal. The women working were super friendly, and we chatted a little with each of them about fun places closer to where we live to check out and current events. The atmosphere was really relaxed; good music, and not a lot of people inside. I would stop in again when I'm this far north in Greenpoint. read more

Coffee was mediocre. They didn't have a lot of things from the menu even though they were not near closing. The owners or workers are a little rude. There are obviously people doing work or reading and they are blasting video and audio from their phones simultaneously with the music in the overhead. I have been very disappointed in the quality of the coffee. I come in multiple times and order a Large iced cappuccino. They give me a Large cup but the portion is of a small cappuccino. I'm paying extra for nothing. This is the worst one in the neighborhood. Im fed up after multiple tries. 12/18/23 8:34 AM is when i went. Whoever was at the helm SUCKS!. After 20 years in NYC, this place servd me the first inedible disgusting egg sando I've ever had. Totally disgusting. The food is consistently overpriced and bad. And somehow slow. The coffee is fine. The $18 sake cocktails are a joke at night. Go here if you want to spend $40 for two coffees and two really terrible egg sandwiches (rock hard roll that doesn't bite off too!). Eleva has the best coffee in Greenpoint. I've lived here for 20 years, and nothing compares to the coffee here. I'm not sure if it's the beans, or roasting, but so smooth and good!!
