His crew took longer than originally anticipated but we weren't occupying the house at that time, and the pace yielded fine workmanship. Pricing was as-promised with the exception of a plumbing fix required to meet Narragansett code. Craig was happy to work the with materials we chose and the result is a beautiful, fully functioning bathroom that wows every visitor. We had to search out to find someone that we felt comfortable with and did outstanding work Our son had finished off a mudroom at his house in Duxbury and the team from Cranland Carpentry, Inc did the work. The quality workmanship was outstanding, and they built a custom seat with shelves underneath. I wasn't sure if they would finish off a basement in Plymouth, but I asked them if they would be interested, and if so provide a quote. The quote was very competitive with the three other companies that I asked to quote. I hired Cranland Carpentry Inc. to handle the finish carpentry for my basement remodel. They helped with all the design work and did all the building permits. They made my life a lot easier, and the results are honestly transformative. Bringing a vision for a basement to life requires a specific eye for detail, and the craftsmanship delivered here was top-tier. The trim work, doors, closet and molding are outstanding. We had a few awkward structural columns and they designed custom casings and built-in shelves in another area. * Professionalism: Beyond the woodworking skills, the job site was kept remarkably clean. For a project of this scale, I appreciated the clear communication regarding timelines and material choices. If you want quality work, excellent communication, and ease of mind, hire Build Pros. We originally wanted to have our microwave vented out (rather than circulating air and grease in the kitchen) and add a second banister to the stairs to the basement to make them more safe for our growing toddler. We were also considering having our spare basement bathroom remodeled. The bathroom really wasn't very functional because it was built in pieces (so the gross tiny stall shower wasn't even in the bathroom). That was a big job, and we wanted to get a quote for all three pieces. The first two jobs were too small on their own, so we hired Build Pros for all three. They were amazing to work with, and the work they did was the highest of quality. The team was extremely communicative, and we always knew when they were coming, what they were doing next, and what to expect. Their spreadsheet system made it really easy for everyone to keep track of what we had selected, costs, etc. They helped us a ton with design decisions, made recommendations when appropriate, and made sure we were happy with absolutely everything before moving forward. Our house stayed unbelievably clean, given the level of work they were doing, throughout the process. Mike and Rouben were fantastic at reimagining the layout of our bathroom, taking all of our priorities into consideration. John, their carpenter, is a master. We went way over budget, but a lot of that was my fault. I wanted a bathroom that was functional, but the more we talked and designed, the more I realized we actually could get a really *nice* bathroom that wasn't just functional, but high end. They did a bunch of other random things in the area too. We just were so happy with their work, and they were already there, so we asked them to fit in a few small things and they were awesome in getting those done too (adding a couple outlets in the adjacent home gym, replacing our outdoor water spigots, etc.). We are extremely happy with the final products. We even had a water problem shortly after they finished. They fixed it swiftly with no charge. It might have been a part issue or a labor issue, and so in the beginning it was unclear whether we were going to have to pay for repairs right away. I would have been very disappointed if they had charged us, and have all the more confidence in them since they fixed it and stood by the work and warranty. The only real negative was that sometimes when we had to make a decision, and the team gave us a quick "off the cuff" estimate about how much a few different options would cost, the estimate was really a fair amount lower than estimated. That contributed to some of our cost increase, but in the end I think we would have made the same decisions regardless. We're extremely happy with the final products. We even hired them again and they're starting work at my mother-in-laws house this week! I'm already dreaming of putting an addition on our house in the future, and we will hire them absolutely if/when we do this.

As a carrier for Postal Service, I have literally seen thousands of houses over the years with vinyl siding. Pete's work meets and exceeds the best, and neatest jobs I've among these houses. The way he covered the windows casings in metal was especially unique and beautiful; so much so, that my wife and I decided not to put shutters on the house as they didn't seem necessary and would take attention away from the look of the windows. Pete and his two workers were polite and professional at all times. No profanity was every spoken even when they talked amongst themselves. This may or may not be important to you, but I think it reflects good character which spills over into the workmanship. When you care about how you present yourself, you care about the impression your work leaves on a customer. And I can tell you that Peter REALLY cares. If for any reason he senses you're hot satisfied with something, he will speak up first. This happened a couple times when Pete thought I was unhappy with something because of what he overheard my wife and I talking about. His concerns were groundless as he merely misunderstood the conversation, but it underscores my point about how his primary objection is to make sure the work is done to YOUR satisfaction, not his. There were a few issues I did bring to his attention, 2 were minor. One issue was one I wondered about before the job even started and knew it was going to be a problem. My garage door openings are curved on top. I thought this was going to have to be squared off to cover in metal. I really wanted to keep the look, but thought it would be impossible. Pete, without knowing this, proceeded and tried to keep the curved look. The result wasn't bad by probably most people's standard, but I told him what I didn't like and he brainstormed on a solution. To make a long story short, he came through for me and the doors look great. Not once did Peter ever display any arrogance or indignation to any questions or concerns. He only showed concern and a commitment to satisfy. The price in the contract stayed the same, despite encountering rot under the back door of my garage that affected the back steps leading out into the yard, the plywood and even the studs under the clapboard shingles. He repaired everything. No extra cost. I asked him to replace the steps with Trex, vinyl railing, and Azek, which I knew were very expensive, and I only paid for the materials. He also had to make modifications for the side rails of my front porch, resulting in extra labor and materials. No extra cost. I asked for a few small favors which I was totally prepared to pay for, but he just did them. No extra cost. Before he started his work, I replaced the floorboards of my front porch with Trex. I had 136' of boards piled up in a mulch bed in my yard. I asked Pete If I could throw them in his dump truck, which he uses as a dumpster, a little at a time. He said it was no problem. I came home from work one day and the boards were all gone. A few days into the job, I sprung a new request on Pete. I asked for a 10 X 10' deck off the back of our sunroom. I wanted it all done in Trex, Azek and vinyl railing. This was no problem for Peter. He gave me what I consider to be a damn good price. I recently hired another contractor to replace my parents 11 X 13' deck, and the price was the same, but it was all constructed in pressure treated wood. Staining the deck next year will be an added cost, and one that will continue into the future. Our house looks FANTASTIC. Every time I turn the corner into our cul-de-sac, I love what I see. Peter Ialongo is a one of a kind contractor. He will be the only one I call in the future. I highly recommend him and you owe it to yourself to get a quote from him. One thing will be certain if you hire him. You will be totally happy. And Peter will be the one to make sure of it!
