Firstly, Max is awesome. Communicative, pleasant, polite, prompt, professional. We loved working with him. His team were also very helpful and very nice. Everyone worked hard - from the time they walked in until the time they left. The quote was great and inside the budget we'd allowed and we got a ton more than we expected - broken boards replaced, boards that had been replaced with the wrong wood were removed and redone with the correct, matching wood, a couple of boards that didn't lay completely flat were repaired, and so on. But the finished floors were the star of the show! The floors look new. Not repaired, not improved - NEW. We have a long house, and you can see a huge expanse of wooden flooring from one end to the other, and the effect is now gorgeous. We are entirely happy and we got exactly what we'd hoped for. We recommend Max and Luxe Flooring 100% and would use them without hesitation on any further refinishing projects. read more

Max and his team were extremely helpful and informative. I was able to get an in-home estimate quickly to refinish the floors and I could tell he was invested in his work by the way he took his time analyzing the floors. He ended up saving me a significant amount of money compared to other estimates by offering maintanance options since my floors were already in good condition. He took the time to teach me how to keep the floors in good shape with specific cleaning products which was very helpful as a first time homeowner. He and his team finished the project in a day and he even came back the next day to walk through the house with me in case I had any questions or concerns. Ultimately a very pleasant experience! Would recommend. read more

I'm thrilled with how my floors came out! I had a great experience from start to finish! Their quote was right in line with others I had received. We had a terrific experience with Max and his crew refinishing our red oak floors. The communication has been clear and reliable, the estimate was very reasonable. the floors were done during the discussed time frame and came out beautiful. Everything was covered, and I was amazed how clean the house was when it was done. I wasn't sure what to expect in terms of dust, but they took great care of our home. We highly recommend Luxe Flooring based on the experience we had. They were so professional and respectful of our home and our time. read more

Luxe Flooring - Flooring Near Me

Lux Flooring is the best, most professional team of contractors we have ever worked with. Pleasant, polite, prompt, skilled and striving for perfection in every project. They worked on several projects in our house - hardwood floor refinishing, repair, new floor installation, and stairs rebuilding. They went above and beyond every time. Work areas was always clean, and dust carefully contained. If a job took more than one day, at the end of each day work area was cleaned, tools and supply neatly arranged. Before each project Max meticulously inspects subfloors for any hidden damage that need repair. In addition to the excellent service and meticulous craftsmanship, Max is a great communicator. He always explains what needs to be done, different options and solutions. Never goes over quoted cost and the price is very reasonable. We recommended Max and his team to friends and family and everyone was very happy with their work. read more

TL:DR We hired Max and his team to put new wood floors on our second floors and staircase. He and his team did a fantastic job from the initial quote to completion. I highly recommend Luxe Flooring - they are very knowledgeable and skilled craftsman, excellent communication with Max, and very reasonable cost. I'll go into a bit more detail here: My wife and I wanted to put new bamboo wood floor on our second floor to match the downstairs bamboo we already have. The project included a curved staircase that doubles back to a landing, two bedrooms, and a bathroom. Luxe was the second flooring company we got a quote with. After reaching out to the highest rated Yelp flooring company in our area we wanted to get a second opinion. Max was better in every way. During the initial estimate Max took much more time to go into detail about all the work he would be taking care of and asked us questions to help him come up with an appropriate and detailed quote of all the labor and materials required. The other company didn't ask many questions and once we spoke with Max from Luxe, we felt so much more relaxed feeling that we were going to be in good hands. To top things off, Max's estimate was a bit lower than the other and his quote really broke down the cost so we could see it all and it made sense. It was a no brainer for us to choose Luxe and we were able to get started just a week and a half later. Max was very responsive in the lead up to the project and we kept in touch via text/call to go over all the details as he ordered the materials. He made excellent recommendations for the vinyl flooring in the bathroom which is much better quality than the one that was originally in the bathroom. And the bamboo flooring was a very close match to the floors we already have downstairs. Max's team was incredibly hardworking. They showed up right on time every morning, took a short break for lunch, and cleaned up before they left each day. Our project took six days to complete which was seemed very reasonable for the difficulty of our house. We live in a very old house and none of the walls are squared off so it took many complicated cuts to get everything aligned perfectly. And it all was. The stairs were even trickier since they wrapped around back to the top landing and the stairs seemed to take the longest. They look fantastic. If Luxe Flooring is available to work with you, I absolutely recommend hiring them for your flooring job. You will not be disappointed. read more

From start to finish, Max at Luxe Flooring provided five-star service. He was prompt to return my request for an appointment via email, kept in contact via email and text throughout the bidding process in which he answered several questions, and his bid was very reasonable for the flooring installation. Max was able to schedule installation for hardwood in four bedrooms and a hallway while I was traveling, accessing my house via a temporary code on my electronic lock. The job took exactly as long as Max had indicated. In addition, Max went above-and-beyond and repaired the closet door track and hangers that were slightly bent during removal and reinstallation. I would gladly recommend Max for any hardwood installation. read more

Max and his team were amazing! I had prefinished solid hardwood bamboo floors installed in three rooms and stairs. Max communicated regularly. Some planks in the box were darker than what I chosen as a sample. Max and his team went through the boxes and only used the lighter pieces that I preferred. they did an excellent job color matching. Max searched all the flooring stores to make sure he found the planks, thresholds and bull noses that matched what I wanted. His team showed up on time, went right to work and checked in regularly with me to make sure the layout looked good to me. They helped move furniture out of one of my rooms when they were ready to move to that room. Max was the guy from the beginning. He asked all the right questions about the job, shared what he would do, how long it would take and promised to make me happy. I am very happy with my new floor! once I declutter my second floor, I will be reaching out to Max to install the same flooring! you will not be disappointed with Max and his work. read more

Max at Luxe Flooring is a true professional! We hired him and his team to replace old hardwood flooring with new in late February, 2024. From the first meeting when he came by to look at the room and discuss the project, Max seemed like a partner and helpful advisor. This factor (combined with his high rating, fair pricing, and nice website portfolio) is what made us decide to hire Max over other vendors that visited and provided estimates. His communication was always timely and thorough which matters A LOT on home improvement projects. During the removal of the old flooring, Max and his team ended up uncovering some asbestos tiles and water damage from an adjacent bathroom under our existing flooring and gave us some pointers on what we'd need to do to get it back to a condition that was suitable to install our investment of brand new hardwood flooring upon! We stayed in contact with Max while we had that stuff taken care of through the appropriate vendors. He didn't leave us high and dry and worked to fit us in his schedule when the removal and repairs were done, returning to install the new flooring (in just 2 days for 268 sq. ft.) in early April 2024. It looks beautiful and we are so happy with the install. We have some other floors that need refinishing in the future and Max will be the first person I call. read more

Max and his crew are wonderful to work with: responsive, always on time, courteous, and professional. Max gave us an estimate for removing wall-to-wall carpeting in our daughter's condo and replacing it with luxury vinyl flooring. When his crew discovered that the subfloor couldn't be used with vinyl, Max immediately consulted with us, ordered and purchased hardwood flooring instead, and rescheduled the installation. Then we all came down with COVID-19! Max didn't bat an eye. As soon as we all tested negative, he rescheduled the installation. The results are beautiful. I highly recommend this company! read more

Outstanding service and quality of work! Max is very responsive and is an absolute pleasure to do business with. My situation was tricky as I needed a patch in the engineered hardwood floor that was 17 years old, or I had to replace the floor in the entire unit to make it look good. Max provided several options and discussed pros and cons for each. He also made himself readily available to answer my follow up questions. I decided to go with the patch option and was stunned with the quality of the results. Max was able to find the pieces that nicely match the existing floor and perfectly align them with the existing floor despite the difference in thickness of the new and old flooring. Great communicator, very creative, thinking outside of the box, striving to preserve the existing floor while maintaining high quality through mastery and hard work. Highly recommend! read more
