Amazing crew, incredible service, gorgeous refinished floors! I just purchased a home in Somerville and went back-and-forth on whether to get the oak floors refinished. We had just gotten a condo that wasn't in the best shape and was in dire need of de-carpeting and we couldn't have asked a better team to take on the task. In less than a week, they got through removing 30+ year old carpeting throughout the 1,300 sq ft space and replaced them with striking wood tile and even rebuilt the aging staircases in the unit, all for a reasonable and cost-effective price. My wife and I purchased a condo in the Seaport District with pre-existing engineered maple hardwood flooring that was in rough shape. Called Jay who answered the call and with a couple of days he was at our place to look at the job. He was exceedingly friendly and professional in his approach. I am woodworking hobbyist and know that maple is notoriously difficult to stain and Jay explained all of the potential pitfalls up front. Had Jay work in my home and install 4 rooms of vinyl plank flooring. He was FAST, EFFICIENT, CLEAN, and VERY PRECISE. He wasted no time while here, and was ON TIME every day (2). He cleaned up after himself both days. And when he was finished all the furniture was replaced in it's original places so all I had to do was move them a few inches to complete the room. We recently had Qualite install and refinish hardwood floors in our home. The job required removal and disposal of our old carpeting in one room, removal and disposal of the tile in our kitchen and hallway, and refinishing the hardwood in our dining room to match the newly installed hardwood floors. The men began work on Monday and the final 3rd coat of urethane was completed on Saturday. They were fast and neat. The floors came out beautifully. Jay was very helpful consulting on the type of stain to use for my house. He made time to come see the floor and always can be reached by phone. when I started this project called few other companies and it was difficult to communicate with them. The first company I hired ruined my floor and did lousy job staining the floor. Jay was able to redo the job and very happy with his work. His price is reasonable and worth every penny. I was trying to get my tiny 440sqft condo floors refinished, and Jay actually managed to fit me in the next day, which was amazing. He was up front with me at the beginning that he wasn't sure whether sanding would help with the water damaged areas, but they ended up looking good as new. He (and his crew) were very throrough. Jay was very responsive with prompt communication. He was able to schedule the vinyl floor installation for 500 square feet soon after the materials were delivered.
