#6 - chicken tamal and chile relleno plate with salad, rice and beans
Geri S.

Tasty food with friendly service. I always enjoy my lunch at Ochoa's. Today we had a chorizo tostada and No. 6 - the chicken tamal with a chile relleno, with salad-rice-beans. Fresh ingredients prepared quickly and with care. Generous portions. Nicely crispy tortilla chips with 2 delicious spicy salsas, red and green. The jamaica is my favorite aqua fresca.

My go-to spot for a cali burrito when passing through Sebastopol! Quick efficient service, love the verde salsa and fresh chips. Quaint and simple dining with covered outdoor seating available.

Cute little spot for a quick lunch break or dinner to grab on your way home. Great service and overall a great menu!!

Authentic Mexican como hecho en casa (like home made). Restaurant is newly renovated pastel paint and furniture. Jamaica was authentic made from scratch. Flan very delicious. Non-traditional is the shredded cheese on the tacos-make sure to ask what is included on the taco. Tortilla on taco was not fully cooked so fell apart, but was tasty. Overall savory!

Metal piece in burrito.
K M.

Food is good but here is the problem: 1) I had metal in my burrito. See picture. 2) they pull little scams on you when you are there...like when you ask for a reg burrito and a super burrito in the same order, all burritos will be super and charged accordingly or how they make it hard not to tip when using a cc...you have to push multiple buttons to not leave a tip (for take-out come on). When you ask for sour cream and guacamole on the side...more times than not it will be in (sometimes it's in the burrito and they charge extra for them on the side when you only wanted it on the side). Language is not a barrier I speak both English and Spanish fluently. Personally, it feels like they don't like or appreciate their customers.

Fish tacos, filets the size of my hand
Raquel R.

New in town and came here on a whim to check out another local Mexican restaurant, and boy was a glad I did! I ordered the fish tacos and saw that there were 2 per order for $10 and I thought OK, well let's give them a try, thinking I would get two tiny street-style tacos but instead I got 2 enormous tacos with delicious and perfectly cooked fish fillets the size of my hand topped with fresh crunchy veggies and an incredible sauce. My husband got the carnitas burrito which was excellent. There was an extraordinary spice combination/flavor profile to the pork which I had not had before and really enjoyed, plus it was absolutely enormous and I got to have his left overs the next day - winning! Nice little restaurant, clean, with a few outdoor tables and a good drink selection including Mexican beers. Loved it all and looking forward to going back.

Vegetarian chimi without the cheese, guac in a separate cup.

Wonderful food! I'm from Southern California so authenticity matters. I love it. The shredded Chicken is my favorite.

Got the marinated chicken burrito (GF in which was verbally stated to the cooks) and let me tell you- the flavor was popping that I scarfed the burrito down. Unfortunately, due to the wetness of the meat, beans, and salsa, the tortilla ended up ripping apart half way through and then got pretty messy... finger licking good if you know what I mean. As I was waiting for my food I overheard another patron order the coconut horchata (what?!!!) the lovely owner (who is very accommodating and sweet) gave me a sample; oh, it was phenomenal. I cannot tell you how excited I am to already return to try more items from their menu. Ps: in the evenings they serve Persian food. Indoor and outdoor patio dinning avalible, easy located off Hwy116 outside downtown Seb, with decent parking spots in front.

We sat in the back patio, and my wife ordered a Sangria, and I just had water. The Sangria was tasty and just a hint of sweetness that I liked, but my wife wasn't as big a fan. She likes sour more than sweet. She ordered the Chili Relleno, and I ordered their special Relleno De Picadillo with Mild Poblano pepper stuffed with ground chuck, ground pork, sweet peas, carrots, potatoes, almonds, cranberries, a touch of chipotle and red wine, covered with our creamy ranchera sauce and Jack cheese. We have always liked their standard Chili Relleno, and today was no exception. It tasted fresh with lots of gooey cheese. My Relleno De Picadillo was sweeter than I thought. Then I re-read the ingredients and duh, sweet peas, carrot and cranberries. I liked it, but would have to be in the mood for a sweet Chili Relleno. It tastes similar to our stuffed bell peppers, which we sometimes do at home. It was large and tasty, but you have to be in the mindset of a little sweeter and not savoury. The salad, beans and rice were good. I love the back patio, fresh air and decorations.

Both the enchilada and taco were generously stuffed full of meat. Tender tortillas, and the beans were perfectly creamy. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, like it was made with real care and pride. There were a lot of to-go orders flying out the door, which tells you something right away--but we dined in and received absolutely impeccable service. The owner cracked open a bottle of their homemade hot sauce for us to try... very yummy!!! sweet with a little heat - it was so good we added a bottle to our order to take home. Please support this long-standing local business. Great people, amazing food, and the kind of place you want to keep coming back to. Location is in a strip mall, but don't let that fool you. They said that any dish you leave the meat out of is vegetarian, and they also have the McDougal section and vegan sections on the menu. We were given complimentary chips and salsa. The salsas were quite good and flavorful: one mild and two spicy. We ordered the chilaquiles omelet and the heuvos divorciado. After the tasty salsas, we were surprised at how bland the meals were. The rice was very good, and the beans were good, but the omelet, the guacamole, the eggs, red and green sauces were all incredibly bland. I'm guessing most of the rave reviews are not for vegetarian dishes? The outdoor seating is only a few tables out front, but it was still a nice option on a beautiful day and there was plenty of shade.
