Been meaning to check this place out for the longest time. Husband and I needed something quick and close to home so tonight was the night! The place is small and unassuming but super clean. The menu is very concise with just a handful of options which I kind of liked. You order at the counter and can either sit at one of the few tables they have or get it to you. We ordered their tacos al pastor and a carne asada torta and seated ourselves. Service was really friendly. Food came piping hot and was delicious. My husband's favorite is pastor so he's kind of a snob about it- this one definitely got his stamp of approval. Their salsas were really flavorful as well. The bread on my torta was amazing! Good char on the beef, lots of yumminess all around. A tiny bit on the pricey side but food is fresh and great quality. We'll be back for sure! read more

I've heard good things about the food here. It did not disappoint! I got the tacos al pastor. Delicious!!! They are street taco size so four was a nice meal for me. The place is small inside but it was super clean and the staff was friendly. Service was prompt. Be aware they do not have a public restroom. The service is quick, friendly and the street tacos are good.

Everything about this place was great! I ordered an el Pastor torta and it was phenomenal and packed with flavor! I moved from Petaluma to Santa Rosa about a year and a half ago. First thing I did was scout out the foodie spots near me. I found this place. I remember asking if they had breakfast burritos (luv em), but the lady taking my order said they didn't. I was bummed and about to leave (fixed in my breakfast burrito ways), but she pressed me to try their torpedo burritos. The service was super friendly that I decided to give it ago, and glad I did! That Al Pastor burrito has been my order for a long while since then, and I've tried their pollo/chicken one as well. Tacos are great too, but the burrito you get the bang for your buck. Super delicious and mouth watering . I get their spicy salsa too! It's very smooth (not a chunky salsa), and it packs a punch!! Being a hot sauce kinda guy, theirs is hot! But very delicious! I order it every time. It's a small place, but cozy and relaxing. The ladies there are super friendly and professional, service is amazing every time. We stopped here after my daughters gymnastics competition and after a long day of competing, everyone was thrilled to have tacos. Honestly I hadn't ever heard of this place and just came across it by accident and I'm glad I did. The service was great, I was greeted by a very friendly employee who welcome me in and offered me some recommendations. I ended up ordering the carnitas super burrito which was delicious. The meat was very flavorful and there was a great ratio of all the other ingredients such as rice, beans, cheese, guac and sour cream. Great place for authentic Mexican food. My favorite item here is their Mexican-Salad. It's a must try. Staff is typically friendly and the location is always clean. Ventured out and decided to try Freaking Taco (after seeing multiple reviews on social media). The employee that took the order and served the food, was warm and friendly. She answered all questions that were asked. Simple menu, pretty self explanatory. Ordered carne asada, al pastor, and carnitas tacos. Also, ordered a chicken quesadilla and a side of guacamole. Everything was tasty and I was able to taste the difference of each meat (which at some places, all the different meats end up tasting the same). My favorite meat was definitely the carnitas (I'm always on the hunt for a good carnitas anything). The guacamole was delicious. The ratio of ingredients was spot on. Really good flavor - just a bit spicy, but I am wimpy. I forgot to ask for no onions, but the chunks were big enough to get out. The rice was fluffy. My hubby had a chicken burrito and a bbq pork taco for fun. He said everything was good. It is definitely no frills - no bathroom and just a few tables - so take it home or to a park. So, I read good reviews and was excited to try this place. Don't get me wrong, the food was good. I had 2 tiny tacos for $3 each. I mean tiny. I didn't know they made tortillas that small. The pastor was really good and so was the Carne azada. I got chips and guacamole on the side. My hubby said his Carne azada torta was good. Service was nice and fast. But we paid way too much for the amount of food we got. And I know the price of meat is high but still, those were one bite tacos. read more

Came on a weekday just before noon. Friendly greeting and great service all around from the woman who served me. Menu is limited but has all of the usual options of most Mexican restaurants/burrito places. The carne asada on my tacos was very good, flavorful and a generous portion. The tacos are the kind that are on the tiny 3" tortillas, so don't expect a standard sized taco. I also got a carnitas burrito. It was long and thin, with a lot of rice and some beans and meat. Wasn't outstanding, but perfectly fine. I usually ask for no rice but since this was the first time wanted to see what they did as a standard. So for me this is perfectly fine for good tasting meats if you know that you aren't getting huge portions. The prices are low which makes it affordable and the portion sizes match the prices.
