    Passionfruit guava green tea
    Lucy S.

For Bellingham, this place isn't bad. There's a lot of fruit tea options on the menu and while most drinks don't seem to have any real fruit chunks in it, my passion fruit guava drink seemed to have a hint of the real fruit taste in it. I like how you're able to adjust the sweetness level. This place definitely doesn't compare to the spots in Seattle and the price is a bit high, but it could have been much worse.

Huge chunks of ice in drink

I ordered a Oreo blended Milk tea. The description says it has crushed Oreo cookies & Oreo cookie crumbles on top. When I picked up my order all it had was huge chunks of ice. You can tell the young lady that made it didn't blend the drink at all. I literally almost choked on a huge hunk of ice not even joking thats how badly she "blended" the drink. Also I took the top off to see if there were Oreos and there were none. The Lady clearly didn't care when she made the order either that or she rushed it & did it sloppy. Either way for a $9.00 dollar drink I expect what I order. Or at the very least at least know how to blend the drink right.

Waffle fish with filling - one red bean one chocolate

What a fun surprise! I had never had boba tea or taiyaki! I ordered the Brown Sugar Milk Tea with tapioca pearls. I asked for 25% sweet and it was plenty sweet for me! The tapioca pearls are so interesting - they come up through the big straw and add a very cool texture. I can't even think of how to describe them! If you haven't tried them, be brave! The taiyaki are so cute! Little waffle fishes(?) with tasty filling. I ordered a chocolate and a red bean and actually liked the red bean the best. Kenny at the counter was so very helpful walking me through all the drink varieties and options! So much to choose from and very customizable! The space is very clean and inviting, with cool lighting accent plants, and smooth jazz. I will definitely be back!

We came in just before closing and stayed till they kicked us out. They didn't complain and were quick to get our drinks out to us. We ordered 5 drinks and everyone in the group said they loved what they ordered. I personally ordered the basil seed sparkling lemonade and while it disappeared way too quickly it was just soo delicious. I will probably go back before I end my visit to Bellingham.

I got 2 drinks, a taro with boba and a lemon green tea. The boba was gummy and flavorless and the taro tasted extremely artificial and gross. Won't be going back. Asked about different options like "cheese foam" and different flavor options and he wasn't helpful with explaining it. Spent $17 on two horrible drinks and the size is pretty small for price.

Cute place to get your bobo on. There's so many variations of drinks-- the menu is intense. They range from $7 to $8 a drink. They also have sweet taiyaki. I ordered one filled with chocolate for my daughter. Taiyaki is a Japanese fish-shaped cake, commonly sold as street food. I think it smells like a beligum waffle. I also ordered the "Passion Lemon" green tea for me and a "Strawberry Swirl" for my other teen. The girl who took my order was super sweet, dealing with me changing my mind on the order drinks. The drinks came out quickly, too. There's meter parking right in front. Can't wait to come back and bring my teens here.

The teas here are soooooo sweet I wish there was options for less sweetness. I love that you can get extra boba but both my husband and I felt nauseous after having less than half of these teas.

First off this place is adorable. Such a great vibe. We got the Atari delight with lychee jelly's, it was absolutely delicious. The people working were friendly and very polite. We got our drink super fast. We will definitely be back.

The most extensive menu of bubble teas i have ever seen! Every kind to thrill your taste buds...from several kinds of fruity mixes to nutty and tasty milk and green tea mixes plus many many more! Very large tall cup servings. Their very fresh taichis were made right on the spot. I opted for the chocolate and lychee. Great location right in the heart of downtown Bellingham.

It's so nice to have a place like this in Bellingham! I was excited to try the taiyaki. It did not disappoint. Staff were friendly and the place was cute inside with Kpop playing, definitely a vibe. I'll be back to try something more than just the pineapple passionfruit green tea I ordered for myself.

Decent boba, lots of choices, and they let you choose the sweetness and ice amounts which not all places do.

Great drinks and selection, fun vibes on the TV (either kpop or animal crossing ambient vibes), and yummy snacks.

Why did my taro boba taste like dish soap and the caramel one taste like pure syrup no tea?

Pure Bliss has a WIDE selection of gluten free, and a vegan section. Yes, there is also an overlap with some items that are both. I was super impressed with how vast the selections for both were. The women working were DOLLS! So sweet. I could tell they had the ordering counter down to a science and were super efficient while still being friendly and spending time with each customer. The gluten free carrot cake was decadent and flavorful. The creme brule was lovely. The caramel bar (not gluten free) was reported to be quite good as well. I can't wait to come back!

Oh man was it amazing, got the cardamom coffee to go with a piece of Helva for my little and the Chocolate baklava for me and hubs to split! My little demolished the Helva and hubs and I enjoyed our chocolate baklava at the end of a very fun but busy day! How I heard of this place: On a visit to Bellingham a couple of years ago, my sister and mother…read moretold us about this new Turkish cafe downtown with sweet reminiscences of our visits to Turkey. We simply had to give it a try. And continue coming back. Type of cuisine: Turkish fare - from simit and borek, to cardamom or pistachio infused Turkish coffee, apricot and apple teas, baklava and lokum. We have always loved the foods, mostly imported directly from Turkey. Ambiance: Sweet and cozy, the space is full of beautiful Turkish art/craft - from lighting to seating, from merchandise to the tasty treats served, we love our bay window benches and small, tiled tables that barely hold everything we order. The brother-owners are always wreathed in smiles and humble, grateful service. The music is soft, but always a surprise - sometimes Turkish, sometimes rock, sometimes jazzy, always fun and unobtrusive. We also love the huge barrel "tables" used as outdoor seating under a covered "patio". What I ordered: I was sad to hear that they no longer make/serve their refreshing and lovely apricot tea, so I chose a sweet cardamom coffee. My sister each chose a turkish coffee and pistachio coffee. A hot chocolate for my husband and two apple teas for the children. We ordered one of each selection of baklava available - pistachio, walnut, chocolate pistachio, halva and another walnut treat. Not to mention peach and blackberry lokum. We also ordered a potato & cheese sandwich; they ran out of the bread so substituted potato borek topped with cheese for our savory snack. What I loved: Always the service; quiet, humble, spot on. The coffee is truly magnificent and fully takes you back to Turkey. The baklava is sweet and soaked in honey, just like the cafes in Istanbul, and the beautiful lighting mesmerizes each of us every time. Why I loved it: It's always a little escape entering the doors of Ashuri, and like a mini vacation in a home away from home. Cost: Average
