My husband and I had an incredible dining experience here during our stay at Hotel Wailea. He made…read morea reservation for dinner, and we opted for the course menu, which was beautifully paced and delicious. The dessert was easily the best part! I enjoyed both of the dessert options we tried. They were the perfect end to the meal. What really touched me was the staff's attention to detail. They remembered it was our babymoon and took the time to congratulate us, which made the evening feel even more personal and special! We had a stunning view of the water, and watching the sunset from our table was gorgeous! It is easily one of the best spots on the island for a romantic evening! We enjoyed the atmosphere so much that we returned the next morningfor breakfast. The omelette was prepared perfectly. It was served with a tropical frit mix that I enjoyed a lot! I had the best papaya I have ever tried! From start to finish, the service was top notch! The entire time made sure we were well taken care of!

4.5/5 stars We came…read morehere to celebrate our anniversary, and it was such a pleasant experience. This restaurant is located inside the Hotel Wailea. There is free guest parking, so that was nice. We ate outside, so the ambiance and lighting was nice and romantic. Service was attentive. For our anniversary, they gave us a complimentary bite that included caviar, and they decorated our dessert with the words "Happy Anniversary," so these were nice touches that made us feel special. The meal was a $150 per person for a 3 course dinner. For my starter, I got the hamachi crudo, which was perfection! The fish pieces were so large, fresh, and soft, and the mango relish inside added a great flavor. The star fruit on top made the dish so pretty, and it was so tasty! I tried my fiancé's scallop, which was cooked perfectly. Bread was included in the meal, and it was warm and soft and came with this lavender butter, which was tasty, although the salt was too concentrated in the butter in some sections For the entrees, I got the poached lobster, and my fiancé got the grilled kanpachi. The lobster was tender, and it also came with mussels, shrimp, and veggies. The dish was flavorful, but small. I tried my fiancé's kanpachi, which was solid but was too salty and not as tender as I prefer. For dessert, I tried the poni cheesecake. This dessert was just average in my opinion because the cheesecake lacked flavor (didn't taste like cheesecake or ube). The crust also had a coconut taste, which I didn't prefer. The texture of the cheesecake was light and satisfying. Overall, would give this place 4/5 stars, but increased to 4.5 due to the special touches for our anniversary.

Lane made our entire experience unforgettable. From the moment we sat down, she was warm,…read moreattentive, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was perfect. They knew the menu inside and out, gave great recommendations, and checked in at just the right times without ever being overbearing. What really stood out was her attitude! super friendly, upbeat, and professional. You can tell Lane takes pride in what she does, and it shows in every detail. Our food and drinks came out quickly, everything was spot-on, and the whole night just felt easy and enjoyable because of them. If you get Lane as your server, you're in for a great time. We'll definitely be coming back and asking for her again!

I'd start my morning with the slice fresh fruit platter and FYI the papaya was fresh & delicious. Also I enjoyed coconut prawns which were flavorful and was accompanied by 2 tasty sauces. However the cheeseburger & fries were simply a winner. Fresh Maui beef slaughtered & grill to my enjoyment. OMG the bun wasn't one of those Costco buns it was a Brioche bun and yes it enhanced the flavors beyond what a burger should taste like. It's a FRANK B THUMBS Up award for outstanding burgers. Let's face it a burger & view of Pacific Ocean would make anyone happy but I loved it. Thanks KAPA Bar & Grill for the enhancement of my vacation.

A great restaurant option if you want to celebrate a special occasion when you're in Maui. I made…read morereservation a month in advance with a special request and got front seating with the best view of the sunset. It was sunny at first so I had to wear shades while eating and it was a really hot since it's outdoor seating but then everything got better once the sun is setting down. The food was really good, and the size was decent. I ordered the Thai curry, the pork chop, the bao bun (by accident since the server misheard what I wanted), the chocolate soufflé and a couple cocktails drink. The foods took some time to make but I'm not complaining since you get to enjoy the beautiful view. The server was pretty nice and friendly. All the foods were on the pricier range but you're there for the experience, the view and the atmosphere. The valet parking was free, which is nice since it is a high end restaurant. I would totally recommend this restaurant if you want to celebrate a special occasion!

Had the poke cones, which were great but didn't finish them all since the entree and side dish portions looked large and filled us up. Had the steamed Hawaiian fish Opakapaka (pink snapper) Hong Kong style and the Thai curry mahi mahi - both were excellent. Added braised pork rib bao buns, which were also delicious and filling. True five-star service and a surprise visit by non other than Wolfgang Puck himself. He is the godfather of celebrity chefs, well before the young turks. Suffice to say, we were impressed. Jokingly told him the answer was "I guess so".

Pro tip: they don't take reservations, but definitely call ahead if you're bringing a big crew. The vibe is great with both indoor and outdoor seating and cute, casual decor. It's a perfect spot for local bites and a solid drink. Speaking of drinks--the beer selection is top-notch, and the cocktails were delicious and surprisingly affordable. It feels like drink prices are finally leveling out even while food prices keep climbing! Food-wise, we sampled every flavor of the sliders. They were all very tasty, though a bit heavy on the salt for my personal palate. We also tried the wings, which come in a great variety of flavors. My only real gripe was that the fries were a bit overcooked, but the service was so fast and attentive that it made up for it. Overall, a great neighborhood spot for a casual hang. I'll definitely be back for the cocktails.
