I have been going to Ocean nails for the past 15 years. They are an excellent nail salon. I can honestly say that I have never had a bad experience. I've been going to Ocean Spa Nails for over 6 years now. Their customer service is exceptional. Their employees are highly skilled and always friendly. I typically get in for a mani pedi the same day as long as I call ahead to check availability. I've checked other salons nearby and Ocean Spa's prices and the value for their services are the best I've seen. Additionally, their salon is clean and organized. I used to live very close to this location and I used to get my pedicures done only here. We moved to Glendale and I have tried a few different nail places closer to home and I have found that Oceans is just better than the others. Other places take longer, charge more, and tend to hurt my feet. Oceans does it right every time and I will continue to drive out of my way to get pedicures here. (I will add their prices have gone up significantly since I moved 3 years ago!) read more

Jessica took over Ocean Spa and Nails in January of 2016 and has been improving it ever since. There located has been rebranded and remodeled, featuring brand new spa chairs! Do NOT come here for lashes!! Chloe does a decent job (although she lacks personality) and the service is competitively priced, but over the course of a over year, I've had to wait 15-30 minutes every time I had an appointment for lashes, because she was always doing someone's nails or running the front desk. This is simply poor management, especially since it was difficult to get an appointment with Chloe for a lash fill to begin with! I finally left a review on Yelp after another frustrating 20 minute wait, hoping management would step up and find a solution to a problem they may not be aware of. About 2 weeks later, I received a call from Jessica (manager) to tell me they saw my review, and Chloe would not be doing my lashes anymore, however she did let me keep my upcoming appointment. Rather than trying to fix the time management problem, it was easier to drop me as a client. At my next appointment, Jessica would not acknowledge me, and was rude and unprofessional. I approached her and told her I changed my review to 5 stars (however, reluctant) and commended Chloe for her work, hoping she would keep me as a client, because as I said, she did a decent job and she wasn't the problem, it was the excessive wait times. Jessica claimed changing my review didn't matter and I should have understood they are a very busy place; I asked to speak to the owner who apparently was too "busy" to talk to me, but Jessica said they would call me. I never received that call...never. So, I called back repeatedly over the next 2 weeks, never could speak to the owner. I called Jan 26 to see if I could get an appointment and was told Chloe wasn't available until February 7, so I booked. Received a call from Chloe on Monday February 4th to say she cancelled my appointment and refuses to do my lashes anymore, and said Jessica already told me this, so "why did you make an appointment?" She was rude, mean, and unprofessional. Once again, I asked to speak to Jessica the manager, she was out. Asked to speak to the owner... not available. She said it wouldn't change anything if I spoke to them because she worked "for" them and it was her decision not to do my lashes again, claiming I should have understood that she is very busy (doesn't justify a 20-30 minute wait). She continued to argue with me about it and told me there were plenty of other salons that do lashes. I asked for some recommendations and she said she would call me back with some...once again, never received that call. VERY POOR customer service! When you bring a problem to the attention of any business, the professional thing to do is make it right, not refuse service. APPALLED! read more

This salon is under new management, and the owner, Jessica is the absolute best! She was my regular manicurist at my old salon, and her nail art is incredible! Far from a boring one-color nail polish, if you want any special, on-trend designs, Jessica is the nail technician for you! I don't even live in Scottsdale anymore and I still go back to see her every time I'm in town! I followed her from her previous salon when she bought Ocean and I'm so impressed by the cleanliness, the polish selection, the decor--we never have to wait for long when we make an appointment, and I like to go during the week (Mon-Thu) since they are always busy on the weekends, and Jessica is busy managing so if I want a manicure from her--especially if I want a design--I think it's better to come on a weekday. The staff is always super sweet and friendly, they will chat and joke with you, but if you just want to relax and keep to your own thoughts they are respectful of that too. The BEST pedicurist is a gentleman named "T"--if he's not too busy (if you go on a Monday-Thursday), he'll give you a super-long, REALLY good foot massage! I was in heaven! Plus he's really meticulous and takes his time to make sure your pedicure is perfect. So to sum it up: 1. It's super clean 2. Friendly staff 3. Huge selection of polishes 4. Great service. Technicians pay attention to detail. Visited for the first time Friday with my mom, Aunt and cousin for some girl time when we come to the city to see aunt Betty. Definitely the best manicure I've ever had! Everyone there is great. Each person takes their time in making sure your nails are just how you want them and that the polish is perfect. Also, if you are unsure of a color, they will help you find the exact color you are looking for and if they don't have it, they will mix colors for the exact color you want. I LOVED the sterilized packets their tools come in. Very clean. My only recommendation is to make an appointment because they can get busy. read more

After getting an awful manicure and gel polish at another salon nearby I decided I had to get it fixed. I called and scheduled an appointment after work and I was referred to T. He checked out my nails when I walked in and confirmed that it was a easy job. He was fabulous and did an outstanding job fixing my cuticles and re-polishing my nails. Their color selection for gel polishes is crazy big and they even give you a cup of water when you sit down. I will definitely be back and would highly recommend T as well. read more

I have been a client for close to 20yrs. This is a Full Service Salon, with up to date decor, as well as wonderful massage chairs while being pampered during a pedicure! additionally I get my nails done there, they can do whatever you would like. Eddie does my pedi & never disappoints! Tasha does my nails..she as well never disappoints! I am always 100% satisfied! The owners are always there and take great pride in their salon. Hadn't been here before, and understand there are new owners. Jessica is awesome. Went with my daughter and niece last Saturday for gel mani and pedi. They pay attention to details, listen to your ideas and make sure your nails are exactly what you want. I highly recommend the shop. Best acrylic-fill/manicures and pedi! I have enjoyed wonderful pedicures and manicures from a number of the staff members. Consistent good service, pleasant atmosphere, comfortable massage chairs for the pedicure. I have been going to Ocean Spa since they opened, it is close to my home, so it's very convenient for me. The workers here are so sweet and social. They made me and my friend feel so comfortable and welcome. They take their time on every single nail just to make sure it meets your expectations. Ask for Nicole or T. Both are super great at what they do. I also love how if you chip your nail or if the color fades you can come back within a week to get it fixed with no charge!! Ocean Spa and Nails is my favorite place to get my nails done! The staff are always so friendly and kind. The nail polish section is huge and they have so many colors to choose from. Also has very nice relaxing massage chairs. They don't just do nails, they do much more for instance, eyebrow waxing. The shop is under new management! I've been there twice already and I'm very impressed with the service and the cleanliness.
