A few hours before my appointment, I received multiple calls asking me to reschedule to a different time and told it was a different therapist. The cancellation period was already in effect so I had no ability to change anything on my end. I adjusted my work schedule to make it happen, only to then be told Dino decided he would still take my appointment after all at the new time. I confirmed the new time and showed up on time for my now 5:30 appointment. When I arrived, the receptionist told me Dino "went on lunch and never came back," and I was reassigned to another therapist with no notice or explanation. They also told me that the therapist would not be getting to me until after her current client, but assured me not to worry because I would still receive my full time. Before the massage even began, I clearly explained that my upper back was the focus area due to significant knots, and I specifically asked for my neck to be avoided because I recently had a CT scan done on a lump that's bothering me. Despite making this very clear multiple times, about two minutes into the massage the therapist worked aggressively around my neck until I asked her to please stop. The massage didn't start until 5:45pm itself and felt rushed and unintentional, the room and/or therapist smelled strongly like cigarettes, and to top it off, my "90-minute" massage ended at 6:57pm. That comes out to about 72 minutes of actual massage time instead of the full 90 minutes I paid for. I told the receptionist this as she was asking for gratuity and she told me that was 90 minutes, however, the 90 minute mark would've been 15 minutes later than her telling me I was incorrect. A full 90 minute massage that started on time would've ended at 7, however, a late massage starting at 5:45 would've ended at 7:15. Overall, this experience felt incredibly unprofessional, disorganized, and dismissive of both my time and my concerns. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was honestly unacceptable and I hope to bring awareness to those who are expecting a different experience like I was.

Not gonna lie the nails are not bad but every time I walk in, I feel like it's an issue when I need to get my nails redone. Not sure if it's because I'm a single mom and I don't have a ton of money to tip. I understand they work in Scottsdale for a reason because people have money to blow unfortunately, that's not the case for everybody. I actually live in surprise I would travel an hour to get my nails done by them because I liked the outcome however, I'd rather take my business elsewhere to people who appreciate my business. Every time I would walk in the owner, Peter would not greet me or say hello, but he would greet the other customers who probably tip $50 each time right in front of my face despite not greeting me walking in a minute before the next person came in, EVERY TIME. Very disrespectful and rude. At first when I started going there, I was greeted, but as time went on and Peter realized I tip lightly, I would request him and NEVER got him even if I made an appointment with him. When I was paying, he would ask for how much tip I'm going to give the lady which is very weird to ask. Tip is 100% optional regardless. Also, he would always make jokes because I am attractive and I am single. He would always say, that I need to get a boyfriend to pay for my nails I'm assuming to give a bigger tip?? Just a weird way to put it "get a boyfriend so he can pay for your nails". I feel very uncomfortable going there. And when I go to get my nails done, I want to feel at ease and feel appreciated and pampered as every other nail place does for me but I do not feel that here at all. The woman owner also was always very rude, she was a white woman with red hair. I'm used to woman being jealous or mean to me for no reason, but when it comes to owning a business, you need to be a professional. Also, every time I would go in, they would charge me to take off my gel X nails, even though I get them done there and I am redoing them that same day. They should not charge to take off the nails that they had done previously. I am a big influence as women are always asking about where I buy my stuff at or where I get my nails done at. I will not recommend to friends or family to go to classy nails. As a matter of fact, I found a place in surprise that does them just as beautiful, and the owners are polite and respectful towards everyone. My daughter and I have been loyal customers here for many years and have been very pleased with the services from John, Kathy & Mia. Unfortunately, this most recent visit and a few others were extremely disappointing. My daughter scheduled an appointment for both of us, yet I was left waiting for over 35 minutes without any acknowledgment. Peter Ho, the owner and manager, did not come over to apologize or explain the delay, demonstrating a clear lack of concern. After I paid, I was deeply hurt by his lack of action and dismissive attitude. When I inquired about speaking with him at the end of my service, he simply responded with a "sorry" accompanied by a smirk, which felt disrespectful, indifferent, and unprofessional. In multiple previous visits, I have waited over 15 minutes despite having a scheduled appointment, but this time was significantly more protracted. After years of loyalty, these experiences made me feel like a mere number, and that customer satisfaction is not a priority. These experiences were unacceptable and did not align with the standards outlined in the business's customer satisfaction guarantee. Regrettably, my perception of the Classy Nails Salon has been adversely affected by these experiences. read more

This is the second time I went to this nail spa to get a gel mani and polish change on my toes. I was very upset with the way my nails turned out. First of all the color I choose from the color swatch was not the color they ended up putting on my nails and for what reason they did a different color i do not know. I wanted the polish on my nails to match the polish on my toes but since it was gel on my fingernails and regular polish on my toes may have been the reason why they went with a different color because they didn't have regular polish to exact match the gel polish. However once my toes were painted I realized that the polish on my finger nails did not match the polish on my toes!!!! I was very upset as to the fact that the color they used was not the color I wanted and on top of that my finger nails and toe nails didn't match!!! To make matters worse my toe nails are already chipping as well as my finger nails (gel usually lasts for about 14) days and I only got them done 5 days ago!!!!! Fabulous service. Great color selection. Got a sparkly pink-purple color for my nails for a VIP event Saturday with Chelsea Handler. I live in Central Phoenix and couldn't get in to get nails done for four days after my event after calling four nail salons. I made a wrong turn on my trip home from Mayo Clinic, saw the neon sign for Classy Nails and couldn't believe my luck had finally changed because they got me in right away, Kathy listened so well to this horrible experience I had at a Phoenix hospital and before I realized it my nails were done perfectly just how I wanted them because unlike the medical staff at the hospital Kathy is a good listener and she was exceedingly efficient. I was out of there in like 45 minutes. And I am an older improv comedian, so Chelsea Handler is my idol. Now if I meet her in my VIP seat in the second row from the stage she will no doubt say, "Wow. This is the BEST nail salon in Scottsdale! I go every two weeks for acrylic fills, every month for a mani/pedi. This salon is immaculately clean. The employees are top notch and friendly. They want you to walk out the door so happy with your nails. I have referred many friends here. Sometimes someone I don't know will stop me (Fry's, Barnes & Noble, hair salon. etc) and compliment my nails so I send them to Classy Nails! MALE'S NAILS: Nails were uneven, messy, awkward etc. Upon clean up, there was a misunderstanding with the technician (frequently a language barrier at a nail salon, unless you speak Vietnamese..lol), in terms of how I wanted them finished polished, etc. Peter (the man, there, always in charge...lol..) Classy nails is a great place to get your nails done. I have had a variety of technicians and they always do a reliable and consistent job. I had Kristie today for a French manicure with acrylic tips and she is my favorite by far. She did a fantastic job and was very receptive to feedback to make sure I got exactly what I asked for. I love their work. It is costly but you get what you pay for. I have gotten my nails done twice and have been treated with kindness. I live in Tempe and drive all the way there just to get them done. The only thing I feel could use improvement is consistency on price. My first visit I got a mani pedi. My blue nails and white tips on my toes. That was around $75. The very next morning, I woke up in excruciating pain. Since then, this has turned into a nightmare that I am still dealing with in March. I have had three doctor visits, three separate rounds of antibiotics, and prescription ointments to treat a persistent infection. After finally having one good week without symptoms, the infection has now returned. Their tools are contaminated. There is no other explanation for developing such a severe infection immediately after a routine pedicure. This has been physically painful, emotionally draining, and extremely frustrating. Please be extremely cautious. No one should have to go through months of infection because of unsanitary instruments at a nail salon.
