How have I not written a review for the BEST AESTHETICIAN IN SCOTTSDALE!!…read more haha.. but for real, short and sweet: you won't regret going to Courtenay! She is nice, professional and the best at what she does. I've been going on and off (now only her) for over 10 years I believe and she's been doing it for 10 before that! Details: Stumbled upon her when she was in old town because this salon was featured in a Yelp Podcast/Highlight and I love supporting local businesses. The price is decent.. but I feel like most of us can relate, when we see a Groupon or deal for somewhere else, we check it out right? Well.... I've checked out a TON of places and realized quality is important when it comes down to womanscaping your lady parts! I've tried hard wax, soft wax, sugaring (most painful although great results), different types of wax.. you name it! Deals that apparently for my long legs doesn't always get honored! After exploring, I finally realized I couldn't go anywhere else to get the waxing I deeming the best! Whether you want your upper lip done, half leg, whole leg waxing or a Brazilian, she ca do it all. She can even do a design.. she offers but I decline! I'm simple. Its located inside Sachi Studios and she is always waiting outside. I thought this was extra nice since my first time there are TONS of boutique shops and salons in there. The actual place is a little small, but as long as my 5'11 frame can fit on that table and she can do her work, I don't mind :) For the cost, the pain level, the results and the company you just can't beat this place or the price! Hope you lucky ladies or gents get a chance to check her out and let her work speak for herself. Thank you again!!

A few hours before my appointment, I received multiple calls asking me to reschedule to a different time and told it was a different therapist. The cancellation period was already in effect so I had no ability to change anything on my end. I adjusted my work schedule to make it happen, only to then be told Dino decided he would still take my appointment after all at the new time. I confirmed the new time and showed up on time for my now 5:30 appointment. When I arrived, the receptionist told me Dino "went on lunch and never came back," and I was reassigned to another therapist with no notice or explanation. They also told me that the therapist would not be getting to me until after her current client, but assured me not to worry because I would still receive my full time. Before the massage even began, I clearly explained that my upper back was the focus area due to significant knots, and I specifically asked for my neck to be avoided because I recently had a CT scan done on a lump that's bothering me. Despite making this very clear multiple times, about two minutes into the massage the therapist worked aggressively around my neck until I asked her to please stop. The massage didn't start until 5:45pm itself and felt rushed and unintentional, the room and/or therapist smelled strongly like cigarettes, and to top it off, my "90-minute" massage ended at 6:57pm. That comes out to about 72 minutes of actual massage time instead of the full 90 minutes I paid for. I told the receptionist this as she was asking for gratuity and she told me that was 90 minutes, however, the 90 minute mark would've been 15 minutes later than her telling me I was incorrect. A full 90 minute massage that started on time would've ended at 7, however, a late massage starting at 5:45 would've ended at 7:15. Overall, this experience felt incredibly unprofessional, disorganized, and dismissive of both my time and my concerns. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was honestly unacceptable and I hope to bring awareness to those who are expecting a different experience like I was.

I am an Indian, and got my Brazilian only when I visited India, was very skeptical about getting it done in the USA. But then I was pregnant and wanted it to be clean down there during my pelvic exams. I googled a lot and finally decided to visit Lindsey salon when I found a groupon coupon! I think this is the best groupon coupon I ever used. She was extremely good with her job, in addition made me very comfortable. I was heavily pregnant in my last visit and she was extremely gentle, almost a painless hair removal! I would love to go back for future Brazilian! If she can make a pregnant woman comfortable she can do a great job on any one, I am sure. I highly recommend this place, very clean and hygienic handled by an experienced person. read more

Lindsey was amazing at my wedding! She's so easy going and professional and she exceeded all our expectations! Parking is also easy and ample since it's in a shared plaza with other businesses and a grocery store, which makes coming here convenient. However, the biggest challenge with this location is the efficiency of the check-in and check-out process. There is no dedicated front-desk person, which means the sugaring and waxing specialists are doing everything, performing services, answering phones, checking in clients, checking out clients, and managing walk-ins. Because of this, the wait times before and after the appointment are consistently extended, even when the staff is doing their best. The specialists themselves are great, but it's almost impossible for them to give a fully hands-on, focused experience when they're simultaneously trying to run the entire front-of-house. I understand wanting to cut costs, but the administrative side of the experience is too important to overlook. Even a part-time receptionist or intern would make a huge difference in the flow and overall customer experience. I genuinely like this location, but whether I return will depend on whether they improve this operational inefficiency. If you're in a rush or need a quick, smooth in-and-out appointment, this may not be the ideal location for you at the moment. I hope they consider adjusting their staffing model, because the specialists themselves are wonderful. I had Kenzie before and she was amazing but no longer here as of last month.
