Happy Daughter

Yes,this is pricey ,but Service and food delicious Ask for Enver...every restaurant should have a waiter and staff like him!Rest of the staff was on the spot perfect for my daughters birthday I Ambiance was lovely and not noisy.

My friends and I ate brunch here, and the food and service were fantastic! They're strict about the opening time though, so they will not let you inside if you're there even 2 minutes early. We had to wait outside in the cold until they officially opened. The steak was definitely my favorite - perfectly cooked (medium rare) and delicious! We also had a truffle mac and cheese and a creamy spinach dish for sides. We shared desserts too and they tasted fresh and sweet. The packaging for leftovers was also thoughtful.

I love everything about this restaurant. It was beautifully decorated and the service was excellent. Our waiter John and staff were very attentive. We had the bread which came out hot. We shared the Cesar salad. The lettuce was crispy and dressing was really good. We had the TERIYAKI SALMON, ORA KING SALMON and Chilean sea bass special. All were cooked to perfection. For dessert the crème brûlée and carrot cake.

Vegetable Roll and Sonoma Goat Cheese Ravioli

Ocean Prime is an upscale steakhouse-style chain restaurant. As a vegetarian, these steak/seafood spots usually leave me disappointed - not the case here! To drink, you must start with the Berries and Bubbles, which is as delicious as it is beautiful. To eat, there are plenty of options for everyone. My favorite item was surprisingly the Veggie Roll - unexpected, because I don't usually like asparagus. The Brussels Sprouts, Truffle Mac, and Smoked Gouda Tater Tots are must-order sides. I also tried the Goat Cheese Ravioli (appetizer) and this was the only item that was a tad underwhelming. Don't skip dessert: the Carrot Cake, Butter Cake, and Peanut Butter Pie are delish. Honestly on the of best carrot cakes I've had!

Carrot cake to die for

I was in NY for business and we had a group of 8 for dinner and I had walked by the restaurant on my way back to the hotel. We had people who wanted, pasta and we had a vegetarian in the group also. We made a reservation - we're seated immediately and had excellent service from start to finish!!! Ocean prime maybe a chain, but honestly each location treats you like a stand alone specialty steakhouse !!! Please please don't ever leave without trying the 10 layer carrot cake

I came here with my friends after their gift card promotion. Food review first. The crab cake was mushy and subpar I would skip it. Steak was perfectly cooked. I wish they have a porterhouse or larger cut for groups who want to share. Our creamy spinach side was amazing. The Mac and cheese truffle was a bit too savory. The desserts especially the butter cake was good. Pass on the carrot cake it is too sweet and dense. Service was okay considering we did a very early dinner and they were not busy.

Lobster Bisque

The warm butter cake is one of the best desserts I have had. The cake is warm and flavorful. The lobster bisque was creamy and it had a lot of lobster. The bar service was great. The restaurant was well decorated and warmly decorated. The bartender was awesome.

Melt in your mouth steak, I must say. I'm always impressed by the food. And a classic Negroni from here. I celebrated my birthday and got a complementary dessert, which was nice. Ambiance is average noise level, usually a good vide, great for groups. Spacious areas dining and love the lay out of the bar upon entry. Service is usually attentive, timely and courteous. No complaints. I'll keep going.

Expensive for sure. Customer service was excellent. The place is decorated beautifully. I ordered the following. Ocean 55: 8/10 Point Judith calamari: 10/10 - spicy sauce. The vegetables and sauce compliments so well. Teriyaki salmon: 8.5/10 - pretty good and cooked well. Sautéed mushrooms: 6/10 - not bad at all. Mac & cheese: 6/10 - my little one didn't like it at all. It was decent to me.

Maryland Crab Melt

I truly had no idea what to expect walking in here. It could easily have been a snootier lunch place people take their business clients in the area to. And it may very well be. But the service and overall meal does not reflect that as an experience at all. The food was surprisingly good. Pricey but not really for the area and for what you're getting. The west coast oysters were plump, the sauce could have been a skosh more interesting but the presentation was delightful. We also grabbed one of the sushi rolls, which came with one of the more interesting soy sauce serving dishes I've experienced. For mains I grabbed the crabcake melt, which was divine. A ton of crab meat, lovely dressing. The salad was surprisingly flavorful and well-balanced and could have eaten that as a whole meal. The service was so attentive and the place itself is really elevated. Overall, while it's not my normal fare for lunch in that it's a bit ritzier, it totally understands its clientele, vibe, and mission.

I genuinely can not believe that I have been missing out on this restaurant. All of my friends recommended this years ago and I always put it off. Let's start with the service - let's get Gordon a raise! He is truly amazing. I told him that this was my first time here and he really made sure I had the best experience. Steak, mashed potatoes and mac & cheese were truly amazing. Butter cake - to die for. Truly will be back to try some seafood!!

This place never disappoints. Even at a last minute quick dinner up in NYC, we enjoyed every minute of it. Their food, atmosphere and service is always exceptional. I love their cocktail shrimp and rib eye steak!!! Steak will melt in your mouth!!

High end for the BEST!! Elegant fine dinning. Lavish. Our meal was top notch. The presentation and the quality of food was breath taking. Heaven on Earth Our drinks where serve with a presentation and it was stunning!! I had a rewarding time. You have to treat yourself not cheap yourself!! Service was high end immaculate. Highly recommend

Just went to the Denver location and the happy hour was amazing; do they have one at this location?

Do they still have happy hour in the lounge? What times please?

Are the steaks marinated? Someone in my family is unable to consume onion or garlic, so most marinades are a no go.

They are but you can make requests. They are good with accommodations.

Is the restaurant too noisy to have a conversation?

Not if you get the right table. The bar can be busy.

The lobster gratin topping for the steaks is a must have. It is by far, the best steak topping I've ever had at any steakhouse. It is absolutely delicious.

I was warmly greeted by the gentleman at the door (5 service there), which set a great first impression. However, as soon as I walked downstairs, it felt like the space had lost its speakeasy vibe. I was seated right near the stairs and could feel cold air from outside every time the door opened, which made the experience uncomfortable. I was also surprised to see how much the cocktail menu had been reduced. When I asked about it, the response was that "the place changed a lot." That's fair -- places evolve -- but instead of highlighting the improvements or new strengths, the explanation focused negatively on what the bar used to be. As someone who really enjoyed the former version, that wasn't reassuring. Unfortunately, the drinks themselves didn't make up for it. One of the two cocktails was simply not good. No one came back to check on the drinks, and when I asked for the check after about 20 minutes, there was no acknowledgment that I had barely touched mine or any inquiry about my experience. Overall, a place I once enjoyed and recommended now feels more like a standard dive bar where " Mixologist " were replaced by bartender and were fun cool looking and tasty drinks were replaced by " less complex cocktail ", lacking the warmth and attention to detail that once made it special.

Easy to find if you know what you're looking for, if you arrive right at 5pm on a cold weeknight in the winter, you'll easily find a table or seat at the bar. Very cute space, cozy like everyone says, but nothing mind blowing. Music is moderately loud. The menu in early February still included their winter holiday cocktails. I was more interested in the apple sage house-made fermented soda, and it was pretty good-large glass, flavorful and not too sweet. My friend enjoyed her pomegranate version. The space started to fill up at around 5:30. Service was polite when you could get it, but generally very inattentive, even before it got busy. It honestly didn't feel too different from anu other very nice NYC bar, in terms of menu selection, prices, ambiance and service. Maybe that's standard for NYC speakeasies, but the places I frequented in other cities were more fun and felt more worth the price. I'll still give another NYC spot a try, but not coming back to Thyme.

They're experimental, whimsical, delicious, and worth every penny. My absolute favorite is Child of Light, and my BF's was High Frequency Device. The interior was dimly lit, with a couple of candles per table or counter. It's a perfect place for a date night. And while there may be a wait on busier nights, it's always worth the wait. We were sat at the bar once and were very well taken care of by our bartender, Nikola. It was a Sunday night, so it wasn't terribly busy. We chatted up a storm and he was able to create some drinks off the menu just for fun (on request). He also made my BF and me a couple of drinks to celebrate our anniversary too. It was dark when we entered the coffee shop but an ajar door gave way to the bar. The decor is a homage to the works of Nikola Tesla, which can be seen in the subtle electric theme throughout the space and the naming of the cocktails. The space isn't too large - the bar and stools take up most of the space but they also have some booths/tables. The place looks great. The cocktail menu is very creative - I got one of their seasonal mixes that was actually two drinks in one. The main cocktail was meant to be sipped first and they provided a small glass of beer to be sipped after. The name escapes me but it was very good. Since we had cocktails at dinner, we only stayed for one round. Service was good, and overall I enjoyed my time at Patent Pending. I would definitely return to explore more of their menu.

It somehow manages to feel both refined and relaxed at the same time. The kind of place where you half expect to spot Hemingway in the corner pretending not to eavesdrop. We started with half a dozen oysters, which were fresh, briny, and exactly what you want with serious cocktails. Crisp, clean, gone in about three minutes. For drinks, we ordered the Smoke Show and the King Tusk. The Smoke Show was beautifully balanced. The Grey Goose vodka and Dolin Dry gave it that classic martini backbone, but the fino sherry and brine added depth. The smoked olive oil and blue cheese olive brought just enough savory drama without overpowering the glass. It was complex but not fussy. The King Tusk leaned more aromatic and layered. The vermouths gave it richness, while the Buddha's Hand and osmanthus flower added subtle citrus and floral notes that lingered in a really elegant way. It felt like a cocktail designed to be savored slowly. The music fit the mood perfectly, not too loud, just enough to give the room energy without killing conversation. Overall, it's a great spot if you want elevated drinks in a space that feels transportive without being pretentious. Definitely a place I'd come back to when I'm in the mood for a refined, slightly cinematic night out in Flatiron.
