I met a friend at the bar and the service was excellent! They have a beautiful atmosphere. Did not have the food but the customer service was through the roof. I left my credit card in the binder when I paid the bill and the General Manager, Rick, located the card and mailed it to me immediately. I was so happy! Absolutely amazing place. Came here with a group of 6. Everything was great. Had the teriyaki salmon which was excellent. Absolutely love the pretzel bread they give you at the table. Everyone in my group enjoyed their meals. Drinks are a little bland but some of the drinks have a very nice presentation. They make them bubble with dry ice. Even the shrimp cocktail came out smoking from the dry ice. The love dry ice here haha. Great place overall will definitely without a doubt be back next time in Naples. read more

I would give Ocean Prime a 3.5-star rating. A large group of us dined at Ocean Prime last night. The atmosphere is a little stuffy, but the decor is nice. The bartender made a good old fashioned, but he was a little more concerned with flirting with young women drinking at the bar than making drinks. Our waiter was a little awkward, but he was very accommodating. I started with a Caesar salad. It was good. I ordered the grouper as my entrée. It was good too, but not worth $43. I would rather dine somewhere with a little more breathing room and not as pretentious. read more

We recently had dinner at Ocean Prime and were very excited about this new place. The interior is very nicely done and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The only thing I personally don't like is that the bar seems to be the center point of the Restaurant. Being a non-drinker I don't like the emphasis of a bar in a dining restaurant (but that's just me). My wife's food was fantastic (tuna tartar), my steak however was really nothing special. It was good but I would have expected more. Since the Restaurant just opened I am sure there will be improvements and therefore we will go back in a couple of months to check it out again. read more

The food and service were fabulous. The wine list was very extensive, and I ordered a chardonnay based on our servers recommendation. I enjoyed it very much. The lobster bisque was very tasty. We ordered the filet and the ribeye. Both were done to perfection. I ordered the ribeye medium -well, and the server asks if I wanted it butterflied. I had no idea what she meant by this, though. I wish I knew what seafood in addition to lobster went into the bisque. I am allergic to scallops, as the bisque made me quite sick later in the evening. This is a great place for a large group, or a dinner for two. I will be back for the steaks! read more

Ocean Prime is one of our favorites. The whole experience is wonderful from the moment you walk through the door. The atmosphere is comfortable and highlighted by the display of many wine bottles in the back wall. Be sure to try a signature cocktail. The goat cheese ravioli is our favorite appetizer. We haven't settled in a favorite entree, yet. The chocolate cake is the choice for dessert. The entire wait staff is attentive without being invasive. Bridget is our favorite server. Went here on Christmas. It was nice that it was open, but the service was lackluster and so I was the food. However, the cocktails were amazing!!! Most of our table had the lobster bisque to start, not very flavorful. For the entree, it seemed like the waiter pushed the more expensive items. The lower priced menu items were actually more tasty than the higher priced ones! Grouper was excellent, the king Salmon, not so much. Our entrees came out slowly and staggered. It was awkward having to wait for others to get their food. As for cocktails, the Manhattan & the Orchid vodka cocktail were fabulous!! Would I go here again? Probably not to eat, but I'd definitely go to the bar for a drink or two. read more

This place tries too hard. A glitzy atmosphere that is overbearing. The music blasting throughout is the equivalent of a top 40 radio station. Large TV screens over the bar were showing The Discovery channels "Naked and Afraid." Our server, who was lovely, was so scripted, he might as well been a robot. If he said "Welcome aboard!", one more time, I was going to pelt him with the pretzel stick bread roll. It's yet another mediocre, overly priced Naples restaurant. We went to Ocean Prime for Thanksgiving Dinner. It was beyond expectations.My Husband had a great Lobster Bisque. The Kansas City strip steak was cooked to perfection, juicy and so tender that it was the best piece of meat he has had in a restaurant in a long time. Myself, I asked for the Tuna Tartar, that was demonstrated at the food and wine week, just wonderful. To follow I ordered the French Onion Soup, which also was delicious. The server, Sergio was very attentive and helpful and made our dinner very special. Hoping to go back very soon! read more

Zero complaints about this place. The food was excellent as was the service. We had oysters, the goat cheese ravioli and the surf &turf for appetizers, AMAZING. The blueberries and bubbles drink was not only cool for pictures and such because of the dry ice but was very delicious and refreshing. Entrees did not disappoint as well, got the lobster tails and prime roll. And as if we weren't having the best time ever they also so kindly gave us a complimentary birthday dessert (that was also delicioussssss)! Thank you Ocean Prime! We will be back. read more

I went recently to celebrate my mom's birthday. We shared a cowboy steak and we wanted it cooked differently. It came divided and I had a lil issue with how my portion was cooked. Bummed that I had to send it back and could not eat with everyone but they were extremely pleasant, helpful and willing to ensure we were all pleased. The manager came over to apologize and agreed to pay for a round of drinks and our birthday dessert. We had so many things off the menu but my favorite was the surf and turf appetizer. That was amazing. The scallops were perfectly cooked and the short rib was super tender. I just wish I had more of it. It definitely should be an entree. To top everything off, the manager called my mom the next morning to apologize again and to say he hopes we enjoyed our visit and that our issue was resolved properly. Nothing like customer service. Oh and good food and drinks. We also had lemon drop martinis that were perfect. The waiter was pleasant, patient and fun. Despite our one issue, it was a great time and can't wait to go back. read more

First time to visit Ocean Prime since taking its spot on 5th Avenue after the last failure in this location. The change in decor was most welcome and is lovely. Four of us for a Saturday night dinner in our hometown. I will forgo reviewing all the menu items we chose, as at best they were mediocre. The prime rib was far from prime and none of our dinners were visually enticing. A fifty dollar entree requires at least one side for $12.00. There is not a wine under $110.00. We have never minded spending for a great meal, but this place truly ups the ante.The music is so loud that trying to have a conversation is almost an impossibility. Fantastic experience on their opening night! We typically avoid such a night- but chose to venture out since we were already in the area. The tuna tartare was spectacular- crunchy yet spicy. The shrimp cocktail was just as we like it - firm and flavorful. The scallops with short ribs were tender and seasoned perfectly. This is normally our favorite restaurant. The food is awesome and bar service is normally fantastic. Tonight was the worst service we've ever had. We sat at the bar for dinner, as we usually do, but the bartenders/servers, were completely inattentive. We practically had to wave them down to be able to order anything. We would have been fine if we'd both been seemingly unattached males- they were being attended-to extremely well. Will not tAke away from the food we were served because it was amazing, as usual, but the attitude of the all-female bar staff was at best aloof. Like they were doing us a favor to serve. We ordered nearly one of everything on the Small Plates menu--- each dish was delicious, but we particularly loved the Lamb Lollipops (the seasoning!) and the Prime Sliders (the blue cheese)! All of the guests at our table ordered the Berries & Bubbles cocktail and it was AMAZING! When you order it, have your camera ready--- it's a picture-worthy drink, trust me. I been looking for a restaurant gift card for my relative in Florida. Never been to Ocean Prime and read the reviews. Reviews look great. I ordered gift card through their website and to be mail to my relative. I paid extra to be trackable. Been a week. I only received a notice that the gift card being shipped but no tracking number or gift being arrived at the address. I'm starting become a nervous wreck without knowing what is going on. I emailed them with my concerns and need a tracking number but they have not reply back and it's been 3 days. So I felt rip off for paying extra and not receive any tracking information. So far my relative have not received a gift card in the mail. So I'm never ordering gift card from them. Poor customer online service. read more

My wife and I tried this place during restaurant week. It was a great choice. Nice atmosphere and the food was great. Fillets cooked to perfection and the sides offered were perfect. The lobster bisque soup was also great. Smooth, tasty with large chunks of lobster. The place is s little noisy but not to the point of being intrusive. The special for the week was 36 per person but the prices beyond the special can be pricey. If you go ask for Kevin as your server. He is terrific. read more

My husband and I dined at Ocean Prime last night during Naples Restaurant week and had a wonderful dinner. It is a beautiful restaurant decorated with lots of wood and glass, very upscale looking without being stuffy. We had early dinner reservations as Naples is very crowded in season and we were seated right away in the front of the restaurant, adjacent to the Sugden Theatre which was beautifully decorated for the season with clear lights. Our server was very attentive and helpful. I have many food sensitivities and allergies, some of which can be life-threatening, which puts a damper on what and where we can dine. I had asked our server check with the chef that there was no msg in the salmon teryacki marinade, which there was not. The salmon was perfectly cooked and served on top of sticky rice. The sauce was light and flavorful and nothing short of heaven. My husband ordered the filet mignon, very rare, and it came to the table perfectly cooked atop mashed potatoes and haricots verts (slim string beans). I had the carrot cake for dessert which was very moist and delicious and of substantial size. It was plated with a small dollop of freshly whipped cream which was not too sweet and pineapple sauce. My husband had the peanut butter pie. The dessert consisted of very lightly whipped peanut butter filling atop chocolate crumbs enrobed in chocolate. Very decadent indeed. I unfortunately could not sample this delicious thing as I have a peanut allergy. Sigh.... Our server brought us cappuccino for my husband a Darjeeling tea for me. I love the flavor of Darjeeling tea, but rarely see it in restaurants. Very lovely meal. Our server was wonderful. Excellent dining experience. We came here while on a mini vacation. It was recommended by a local shop owner. The restaurant was beautiful and the hostess was pleasant. We didn't have to wait at all for our table and it wasn't crowded. Unfortunately once we were seated the server was terribly inadequate. I asked for water with lemon and ordered a cocktail. The water came and then the cocktail but no lemon. We also noticed other tables with bread. I caught the server walking by and asked again for lemon and also bread. We watched him serve other tables and again asked for lemon and bread and ordered 2 appetizers and a soup. I finally got lemon and bread at the same time as the appetizers. We ate the entire appetizer without seeing the waiter once. He never asked to take our dinner order at all. Finally after we finished every bit of food on the table (which was actually delicious!) we asked the busboy to retrieve our waiter. We decided not to even order a meal as we had already been there over an hour. It really is a shame that a restaurant with food as fantastic as this had such terrible service. I might consider ordering to go for the lobster bisque and goat cheese ravioli though! read more
