Due to COVID-19 the ONLY option for Chinese was No 1 Chinese and I figured I would give it a try. I always figured the competition was better because they were always so busy and it wasn't just a hole-in-the-wall like No 1 Chinese. I was so wrong! Not only is the price so much better, but the food is some of the best Chinese I have had in years (and I am not just saying that because COVID made me forget). The owners are working so incredibly hard to get food out to people and are following proper safety protocol to keep things sanitary. I will say that people need to show a little more respect. Follow their signs and don't waste their time or the time of every other customer by thinking you are so special you don't have to follow the rules. Oh, and don't try calling in your order because they are not answering phones. Simply go to their website and make it easy for everyone and order online. If you wait to go in to place your order you will be given a menu to circle what you want and then you will be waiting a very long time. Lastly, be kind and give a tip when ordering online or in the restaurant. This family is killing it for their customers and you should pay it forward.

Also, what happened to the Pork & Shrimp Stuffed Peppers? All I tasted was soy based ground pork and no shrimp whatsoever. Lastly, the Duck Egg Yolk Custard Bun has gone really downhill. Skip! With that said, I still absolutely love their Pork & Shrimp in Dried Bean Sheet Roll. One of the best I've had anywhere. Chicken Feet in Black Bean Sauce and Fatty Pork Ribs, and Sole Filet in a Fried Thin Rice Wrap are still excellent. There are many other standard items that are done well, but not necessarily better than most places. Every time I come to Mohegan Sun or Foxwoods Casino, this has been a must stop. Though I feel the quality has downgraded a bit, I would still consider this restaurant one of the best places to eat in the area. Apparently they do a ton of takeout. Service was slow because it was just one person serving and handling the phone / online orders. But one of the managers or owners came out several times to check on us and make sure we had what we needed. The dining room has a decent amount of tables and the decor is really cute. Parking out front. Everything we ordered was so good. Lots of unique dishes as well. I got the pineapple entree with roast duck and swapped the jasmine rice for rice noodles. So yummy. Satay chicken and fresh spring rolls were great too. Everyone seemed to love what they got. Will definitely be back!

I was skeptical when I pulled in and saw no one in side but thought maybe they did a lot of takeout business plus it was 7pm on a Wednesday. I was greeted warmly and the food all came out hot and beautifully plated. And it tasted even better than it looked. I also ordered a cup of hot Thai tea which came in a big mug, which I love!
