My new spot!! They are so polite and talented. Had a bad experience with one a couple blocks away so I got on maps and found this one. They sat me down right away while asking me what I wanted and prepping me for the next girl who was going to start on my nails. JUST OKAY. The shaping of my acrylics are to my liking, and the marbling is quite nice. Not exactly the light green I wanted, but still came out very nice. Nicole did a wonderful job on my nails. NOW TO THE PEDICURE. I WOULD NOT DO IT AGAIN. My feet was not cared for properly so when I left, there was still dead skin/callous that needed to be removed. Something a standard pedicure should be able to do. And the lady who did my pedicure cut the nail too deep on my one big toe, which started to bleed. Stopped by Ocean Nails for a last-minute gel mani, and it was a good experience. I called 10 minutes prior to arriving (less than an hour before closing) and they were willing to take walk-in appointments. Customer service was good overall, although the nail salon itself is pretty standard and they were pushing my mom to upgrade her pedicure. Parking can be a bit challenging on weekends, so it's best to try the residential streets and to walk over. The mani seemed a bit rushed, but it's likely since it was getting late. I think the prices are fair and the staff are friendly. Possibly worth visiting if you're looking for a pretty good nail salon. read more

I stopped into this spot while walking to another nail shop. I decided to give this place a try, since i didn't want to wait. There was only two guests inside so i know it wouldn't be a long wait for me. Wait time: 10/10 Paint job: 8/10 Cut/file: 5/10 Massage chair: 3/10 Foot massage: 2/10 I decided to give ratings based on my experience, but it can definitely be a better experience for anyone else! I love getting pedicures because i can't do them myself, and the foot/leg massage is the icing on the cake for me. But unfortunately, it didn't really feel like much and also was cut too short.. the total for my pedicure was $28, with a $6 tip split between two people. Requested gel for the first time and less than 24 had to go back in as I noticed the nail polish was already peeling on my thumb from the bottom corner . I went back in to get it repaired and they let me know that one of their new girls did my nails. I would have expected that they would train their staff fully before allowing them to service customers especially as I paid $50 for this mani and also had to spend an extra two hours of my quality time to get it fixed before heading out of town on a week's vacation. Time I didn't have. I also went to the same girl the week before for a pedi and she scrubbed the back of my heel so hard that it started to bleed and left an open wound. AND I was parked right in front and they told me to move as they were saving the spot for their manager. I ended up parking two blocks away. I would think they would be more thoughtful towards their customers . I still went in after that to get my gel mani to give them the benefit of the doubt but now I don't think I will be returning at all. Really poor service and poor quality of work. My technician was quite thorough. I could tell she cares about her quality of work. My only issue is my pedicure took over 2 hours. I did get a callous remover, but 2 hours plus is kind of ridiculous. I will give them another shot. They do do seem to provide high quality work though. read more

Told me she had a 5:00 pm appt. but it's 4:00 pm NOW. Asked me if someone else could do my Mani + Pedi. I didn't request that service. I show up at 4:30 pm. No one in the shop but one chick finishing a fill. I say HELLO to Katie and she says nothing. Huh??? I'm paying for attitude today? Really? Why????? I waited patiently while she finished the customer and said nothing. When she got to me at 5:05 pm, I got further attitude from her mean azz and I began to pray that I contain MY attitude cuz I'm well known to clown (without embarrassment) in the public. When she finished, she said, $5.00 - WTF???!!! How is that possible when it was $3.00 and then $4.00 for the last YEAR?? I would guess that the additional $1.00 was for ME making her display such a poor attitude. There are way too many nail shops in the Bay for me to tolerate nasty attitudes + pay for it. I'm cool and will not return. Today was my first time going to Ocean nails and I love the vibe in here it's a small place but not too small they have plastic plexiglass in front of the chairs while you get your pedicure to protect from Covid everyone is wearing a mask it's very clean in there. I made an appointment and they were super accommodating they had the available time that we wanted my sister got a fill and they did exactly what she wanted they were so sweet I got a pedicure and a gel manicure and they even helped me pick out a color to match my pedicure because I wasn't getting gel on my feet they have amazing selection of colors and products the price points are great not too expensive when they're doing the gel manicure I've never had anyone else do this but they put gloves on you to prevent your hands from burning in the UV light and I thought that was a really nice touch The pedicure was great sometimes my feet hurt because I run a lot and I get ingrown toenails and she took all of them out without even me having to ask she's scrub my feet and massage my legs and it was amazing I felt super pampered I almost fell asleep.five stars I would definitely come back again read more

I used to go here for my gel manicure and they were fine but recently I went for a fill just before Christmas and they cut my acrylics to the same length as my actual nails and then proceeded to paint the gel so badly that it didn't set properly. Less than two days later the polish had smudged so I went to a place in the town I was visiting to get at least the polish fixed and as they were sanding it off they realized the polish was still wet! I was really disappointed because I used to like coming here but now my acrylics are a mess and there was just no attention to detail with the polish. read more
