Disappointing and under staffed. Online menu pricing 5 dollars more on current menu yesterday. Ordered 2 whiteclaws and got a menu. Looked around at 4 tables of folks sitting without drinks or food. I asked the server if we ordered burgers would we get them in less than an hour and he didnt respond. So I indicated if you dont think we can get food bring me the bill and he handed me my bill. This is on a wednesday at 7pm.Only 2 servers guy running around tables and girl stationary talking to the guy behind us. I have to say that reviews got me there but the outside almost turned me away. I can now say it was a nice play. Nice, fun and cozy inside. Service from both ladies was superb. Food was more like homemade food, pleasant. Kids ' meals came on a frisbee; fun!! lol My meal; the Trophy was good tho Caribbean rice is more like sticky dirty rice with pineapple. The two disappointments; the red something drink on happy hour (aka rum punch) was super sweet. I tried a sip and asked the lady to take it back. I was not offered to have it exchanged or even take off the bill...which has been the case anywhere else. The absolute thumbs down was that prices on the menu are cash prices. If you pay with a credit card then prices are higher but nowhere did I see that on the menu. read more

The menu had something for everyone in our party of ten, prices were very reasonable, and there were plenty of fresh seafood options. While there were great drink offerings on the menu, the server suggested and off-menu drink that was delicious. THE FOOD!!! Every. Single. Dish. Ordered in our table of 10 was absolutely fantastic! Great place to eat and drink in Daytona Beach. We ate there one night and then, because we liked it so much, had to go back the next night. Loud music and party atmosphere downstairs outside. Great place for live music! A bartender we met at Oyster Pub recommended we check this place out. Ended up coming here 3 out of our 6 night stay! The bands that were there all were reggaetón but played all genre's. Masks were not required here, so heads up to those who are uncomfortable with this. I wore one while going to the bathroom moving around but most people did not. It is pretty spacious in there and most people were seated with the exception of a few couples who got up to dance. The servers and bartenders were all really nice and friendly! Drinks were very reasonably priced! Would 100% recommend. read more

Pretty cool spot on the beach with great strong drinks and friendly bartenders. The only issue was they were packing this place in like sardines which made us uncomfortable and opted to leave after one drink. There was no social distancing going on whatsoever and you could smell cigarette smoke coming in from the patio outside. I do love the fact that the drinks were poured strong and would return if it wasn't so packed. read more

Really happy I stumbled upon this place while traveling to Daytona. Stopped here for lunch and enjoyed the crispy tuna appetizer and a mahi mahi sandwich (which they are famous for). The food was delicious and hit the spot after a long drive. The service was great and the drinks were flowing. By the sounds of it they have live music nearly every night and there is also a huge outdoor deck and dining area downstairs. I didn't see it until I left but the indoor seating was cool too with a great view of the Atlantic Ocean and the iconic Dayton Beach. read more

By far my favorite place to eat on the beach while i stay in Daytona. It is a casual, 2 level oceanfront restaurant. It has chairs along the long bar upstairs, always occupied as the drinks are a decent price. I usually get the crab cakes as there is minimal filler and 90%crab in them, comes with 2 sides for $28? . Have had many of the other selections and enjoyed them all. Know that the upstairs is regular dining while the downstairs provides live music and its sand level. The door going out to the back porch brings you to about 6 picnic tables and are just 36" or so from the sand. I really enjoy this restaurant and always make it my first nite restaurant. Be aware get there early or the wait can be quite long. Only 5 or so car spots directly on the property but the car valet will park your car across the street on their lot. read more

We're visiting from Miami and had dinner at this restaurant. The food was pretty good, my mom enjoyed the hell out of her lobster, for a reasonable price. The drinks were great and the service was even better. My only complaint was that the servers weren't wearing masks, like at all. And she had to get pretty close to us to hear us when taking our orders. Also, while sitting outside, someone just walked up to me and asked for some of my food. That's not the restaurants fault and I don't blame them, I just didn't care for that. I love that we were able to experience local nightlife and I would definitely go back there if I'm in Daytona Beach. read more

If you are near Daytona boardwalk or staying in condo / hotel on Ocean Ave walk your hungry butt to Ocean Deck ! We we're staying next door at Comfort Inn Suites for Rockville last May but due to constant inclement weather we walked around area close by or on our balcony enjoying the ocean view !! It was perfect right next door I wish we would have went there from day one ! We made the mistake of going to Joe's after a horrific experience we left & walked back to our hotel & decided to go in Ocean Deck !! The menu is great , food delicious, large portions, great service & drink menu :WOW . We went 3 more times !! Don't go on the main strip if you're staying nearby & even if you are just walking the beach jump on in & have a bite or a drink; it's right on the beach !! Bring some Rasta sauce we both 2 bottles ; we use it on everything but recently we made eggs Benedict with it YUM !! Friends from college go to the races at Daytona ( not our thing) thanks to us they spent 3 of their 5 nights dining at Ocean Deck just as we did ! If we are able to attend Rockville next month again we will definitely go back to Ocean Deck !! I believe it got really busy due to the weather & they seemed to have a great handle on it moving tables etc without disturbing others !! Key Lime pie yes everyone has it but seriously try theirs !! Honestly we'd be happy eating there every day bc after the Joe's incident & waiting 45 minutes at another restaurant btw 11 different people from the festival who had the same complaints of other businesses decided to call me out on my boasting & tried Ocean Deck & were not disappointed!! read more

Just had the very best time at the ocean deck. We were there last year and returned today after watching the Rolex 24. Had a great time with Nadeen, Tanya and her hubby Evan at the upstairs bar. We had clam strips, shrimp quesadilla, and of course, their famous mahi sandwich and it was all excellent plus great drinks and really good times. Everybody there is like family and they work Super hard to get a lot of really good food out to a lot of really hungry people in a very short period of time. Love this place. On a positive note, it was A great view right on the ocean, and the inside is appropriately themed. My kids had burgers and they were pretty good. My wife and I got seafood and it left a lot to be desired. The lobster was way overdone and chewy, and the steamed seafood combo featured shrimp that was very tasteless and chewy, a few decent crab legs, oysters that were not very good, and some clams. It seems like at a place like this the seafood would be fresh, but I've honestly had much better at a red lobster. Also, if you have any covid concerns, this is not the place to be. Both the lower bar and upstairs restaurant were packed, with tables as close as possible, and no masks work by anyone. This could definitely be a fun place to hang out and have a few drinks, but wouldn't recommend it for a family dinner. read more

I love Ocean Deck. It has been around since I was kid vacationing with family in Daytona. Its alb.ways a good time at Ocean Deck for drinks at lunch, happy hour, or at night. They always have something going on like live music or trivia or karaoke. After a few drinks you can run out and take dip on the Atlantic or play some volleyball. Bartenders are generally friendly, some are just ok. Food is really decent for bar food. read more

Been bringing my elderly grandpa who has had a house here since the 1920s to ocean deck for a while now came down to find a very rude valet in front today. When we asked about handicap parking was very short with us and made it so me and my grandfather ended up just driving away Surprised they let their employees treat people like that. read more
