Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - fairly typical Chinese buffet that was actually better than we expected! They had sushi rolls that actually contained sliced fish rather than just cream cheese, California rolls, or spicy tuna mix. For such a small place, they had a great selection of food with some decent ribs, amazing salt and pepper shrimp, okay clams, and a hot and sour soup with a nice kick. Service: 4/5 - friendly cashier but the waitresses cleaning tables were quite inconsistent. At one point there was 5 or 6 plates stacked before they cleared our table. Ambiance: 4/5 - the buffet set-up of the restaurant was a bit odd as there was fairly little space between the food lines and the sushi area was completely off in a different area. They sat us in the back room with the families and children so we had to listen to screaming kids for the entire meal... Value for price: 5/5 - at $14.99 for lunch, it was a great price for surprisingly good food.

One of the Best Chinese buffets I've been to the real surprise were the crab legs they were nice size and the meat was firm and sweet. The place was clean and the buffet was always kept full. 5 Stars plus the price was reasonable and the oysters looked really good. Clean bathrooms was a bonus plus a minute off of the highway

Group of 7. Pre charged fee on bill. When questioning discovered it was for 10%... Not one of us would have paid 23.99 ever for this food. Service/ staff pleasant . But at $25 for a Saturday lunch please upgrade your Manila pricing signage. SMH (4/20/24!)

    Pile on the seafood!

YUM!! BEST CHINESE BUFFET IN SOUTHERN UTAH!!! Go on a Friday or Saturday when they have crab legs. Cost is higher but worth it for the extra sea food. Fresh, raw, Oysters, snow crab, at least 4 different shrimp dishes.. the black pepper chicken is amazing! I wish the clams had a sauce or gravy but I guess you can always spoon on the sauce you want.. the dessert is pretty decent for a Chinese buffet. Usually it's just ice cream and some lame cookies, etc.. but this place has good lemon meringue pie! The banana cream dessert is good to top other desserts with! Don't forget about the sushi bar! I always fill up before I get there, but it's a good sushi selection. Mouth is watering already.. can't wait to go back!

Sushi, egg drop soup, little bit of this and that.

Honestly, I love ocean buffet. I usually go during lunch because the price is a little better and the sushi/food is constantly fresh. I love this restaurant and have never gotten sick. It's been a great experience for both taste, and customer service. The workers are all very kind and I'm happy to give them my business. Prices have raised a lot in the last couple of years, but so has everything else/food. So it's not a surprise, and they still do a great job.

    The ribs oh yeah!

A little disappointed, we decided to give it a try since the lunch items had just been put out fresh. Unfortunately, the hot food was a letdown. Most of the dishes were under-seasoned and surprisingly not very hot, even though they had just been brought out. The mac and cheese was watery, the fried fish was lukewarm, and the country gravy was basically flavorless. Thankfully, the salad bar and fresh fruit did not disappoint and were definitely the highlights of the meal. Overall, we were disappointed with the quality of the hot items and expected more from a buffet. Hopefully, this was just an off day.

I didn't dislike mine, but it was not as good as many I've had, less spices. I don't like hot, and it wasn't, but I mean spices for flavor. The mango lassi was ok, but lacked that tang we enjoy usually with one. Ordering was interesting, they have you order as you come in like a fast food type place, then they seat you and treat it like a dine in experience with great service. However, they ask for the tip like when you order and pay like fast food. It was unusual, so we opted to leave a cash tip afterwards since we didn't know what kind of service we'd receive. The dining room seemed clean, nothing special. We did not use the restrooms. Not sure if we would return. It wasn't bad, but for the price, we weren't wowed

This cafe is located inside the Sanctuary down a long dirt road. It's a relatively small building but given how popular it is for the lunch, the place gets extremely crowded and chaotic. When we walked in, basically the entire place was full and there were volunteers and employees giving powerpoint presentations about the animals being cared for at the Sanctuary. It honestly felt kind of like a timeshare presentation, but without the pushiness. Luckily there were still seats available outside on the patio, which has some gorgeous views down into Kanab Canyon. In terms of food, everything is vegan. The first table includes a salad bar with plenty of various toppings and six vegan dressing choices. It's all super fresh and healthy. The second table has the main entrees, which on the day we visited was green beans and jambalaya. The green beans are simply boiled until slightly mushy. The jambalaya is mostly soft and tender, approaching mushy, and has kidney beans, onion, tomato, and sausage-substitute (perhaps seitan?) mixed in. The faux-sausage is actually pretty good, being spiced like sausage and having a surprisingly similar texture. The third table has desserts - slices of vegan chocolate cake which taste and feel the same as boxed cake mix, moist and not too sweet. The last table has premixed salads. There's a potato salad that includes plenty of tender potatoes in a creamy mustard/mayo sauce. There's orzo salad that uses a really strong and pungent vegan cheese in place of feta. Finally, there's a spinach and fruit salad, fresh and tangy. All the food is restocked regularly, so while we were there nothing ever completely ran out. Angel Village Cafe serves fresh and healthy food for only $5. It's a no-brainer to visit for lunch while visiting the Animal Sanctuary.
