great customer service even offering a great price to assemble a tank i didn't buy from them .... they will get my future business

Thank you Brian for your kind hospitality. My husband and I decided to upgrade our saltwater aquarium from a 13.5 to a 47 gallon tank. Brian worked out a great deal that we couldn't refuse and on top of that he helped us out by delivering it to our house. We can't wait to set up the tank and transfer everything over. Thank you Brian! read more

Ocean Aquatics - 47 gallon tank and stand - Local Fish Stores Near Me - Redlands, California

Brian is amazing he goes above and beyond for his customers! Thank you Brian !! I love my tank

Dealing with ocean aquatics has been a pleasure. I've never actually been in their store but as a west coast distributor for planet aquariums, they've gone above and beyond in setting up a semi-custom tank order, keeping me informed, negotiating deals on other necessary equipment and just generally being accessible. A great experience. read more

I've been very hesitant in writing a review because Brian and Kenny were nice but I feel I really have to do this, because I really wish I would've known, I regret having them do my Fish Tank, I could list so many things that they did wrong but the list is very long now and every time something is wrong it's thrown in my face what a mistake I did by having then do my tank thank you God for helping me find someone that can fix it He basically told me that they just did the job took my money and knew that that's all they had to do , they would not have to maintain it Please be careful and educate yourself on all the plumbing and everything that you want because they really just don't know read more

If you're looking for one of the top quality places to get anything saltwater related in the inland empire Ocean aquatics is the place to go! I have made it a small side hobby for myself exploring all the different fish stores throughout Southern California and not many have came close to the quality of ocean aquatics. This is the only place I go to for all my corals and saltwater fish. There's nothing like peace of mind knowing that you're getting the best stuff from one place. Every time I come in, I'm always greeted by Nick and he always goes above and beyond to try to educate me and help me with exactly what I'm looking for! read more

Both owners are super helpful. I've been coming here for my salt and rodi and occasional fish or cuc purchases. As a reef chick it's hard to find a place that doesn't undermine females or ignore us just for being female. Super friendly and respectful. I always look forward to coming in and seeing what's new. read more

After exiting the hobby 4 years ago, I caught the bug to get back into owning another reef tank. After doing some research I purchased a tank and wanted to stock it with healthy livestock. I found Ocean Aquatics to fit this need. They had plenty of healthy livestock and I was in luck as I wanted a pair of designer clowns. I picked up two of them and they are healthy and happy in their new tank. The owners Ken and Brian are friendly and very knowledgeable about their livestock and the hobby as a whole. I've e purchased numerous coral frags from them at reasonable prices and they also helped me with stocking my new tank. I enjoy visiting them and their business every chance I get! Check them out if you're ever in the area! read more

On 11/24/23 I went to the store. Ken sold me a package setup, which I was informed would have everything I needed to get started. I would think everything I needed to get started would be: tank, stand, pump, sump, and lights. Told him I wouldn't need a light so he could remove that from the package. Told him I would also need water and was told they could bring it out when they delivered. I agreed to the price without any hesitation or negotiation. Put down deposit of $800 and left the store thinking I would be getting: tank, stand, pump, sump, and water. On 11/30/23 I had 2 more charges. One for $1513.72 and one for $536.25 (I ended up buying the lights). On 12/14/23 I was asked what return pump I would be using. I was confused because I thought it was included. Didn't make a big deal out of it. I agreed on the Varios 4 for $339.99. Bryant said he would give me a 10% discount. On 12/19/23 I was charged $364.64 for the Varios 4. Doesn't look like I got the 10%, but oh well. Finally took delivery 12/20/23 after numerous delays and poor communication. I noticed there wasn't any water in the back of their trucks so I asked if they brought the water. Bryant told me they didn't and he didn't think any water was included. Bryant did the setup and installation quickly. When he left he told me he had a guy heading in this direction and he would bring me out some water. Ken texted me after Bryant had left and told me the water wasn't included and said sorry buddy. I responded back with my displeasure. I should have got everything in a written breakdown. They were all nice and smiles upon purchase and taking my money. Ken immediately called me after I texted him and basically right off the bat started ranting and asking what I expected. The way he talked and questioned my expectations was in an insulting manner. It almost sounded like he muttered if I was delusional. I told him I paid for everything without any hesitation or question. They provided no receipt of the breakdown of what was bought. He said he would get the receipt and go over it with me and hung up. After he hung up, I texted him and told forget it and this would be the first and last purchase I make with them. Basically, to sum everything up, make sure you get a written breakdown of what you're buying from them. read more

These guys are the best both for knowledge and customer service! I drive from riverside to get water, supplies and corals.

Not happy at all with this business they always change the hours of operation. Plus I had my fish for two years and I sent my husband to get a filter. They recommended one and the next morning my fish were dead they also did not care and keep trying to blame us for it when we did exactly what they told us. Do not shop here! read more

Killed my fish did everything they told me to do and now my fish are dead had these fish for 2 years

Place has great prices and merchandise. But they need to change there operations hrs. 9-3???? What working man can make it here to buy anything? Change your hrs. Back to normal or stay open later so working folks can come spend there money! read more

Bad customer service sold me the wrong food they recommended me for my salt water fish and they died the same week and told my it wasn't from their food. Upon doing research and talking to other "experts" I was told they gave me the wrong food my fish cost me about 500$ just to die the following week read more
