They sent DEAD shrimps to my home on May 18, 2023. I ordered what was supposed to be 10 live shrimp from Amazon Tropical Fish And Feed. "10 Mixed neocaridina Shrimp Skittles Live Freshwater Aquarium Shrimp breeding Age Young Adults 1/2 -1 inch Long Live Arrival Guarantee." I received these shrimp hardly moving. The box was half open with water leaking out and the shrimps were stuck to the plastic. I put them in my fish tank hoping that they would survive but they did not. I contacted Amazon who sent Tropical Fish & Feed my concerns, asking for a replacement or refund and Tropical Fish & Feed sent me a very nasty message. The company did not try to resolve this matter whatsoever. I paid these people a total of $33.47 TOTAL $33.47 ORDER PLACED May 18, 2023 ORDER NUMBER 111-7141947-3395427 EXPECTED BY May 26, 2023 - May 27, 2023 They guaranteed live shrimps and they were not. This company is very rude and unprofessional towards their customers and only want to take my money and run. This is a fraudulent attemp to scam me out of my money and I will not stand for it. I will take them to small claims court which will resolve this matter. I will also reqquest from the judge that the company pays all of my attorney fees as well. I have reached out to Tropical Fish & Feed with no avail! read more

I am a regular always come in to get my fish feed decorations heaters etc, these guys they are super nice when it comes to asking questions they are knowledgeable in aquarium and fish care! I don't know of any other fish store around. They've got a nice selection of animal's and products. I have no complaints, and on top of it, the owner and the staff are friendly and helpful. They've got everything from small fish, to fish that will get around 4ft in length. That's pretty big! I saw one in there that they feed cucumbers. read more

I just found this place and I'm glad I did. This store has a little bit of everything. Very reasonably priced. The fish food alone is half the price of any store around. The fish tanks were all clean and the fish seemed happy, Sergio has a good selection of freshwater fish and a few that are not easily found in a place like Petco/Petsmart. Worst customer service! We purchased several fish from this shop and had 3 die hours after purchase. The owner would not exchange the dead fish trying to say it was our tank water, I asked if that was the case all the fish would have died right??? Our tank water tested fine. This is the worst shop! Won't give receipts on cash purchases and won't stand behind their product. Won't be going back and won't be referring anyone either. Wish I could choose ZERO stars. read more

I would not recommend this place. After my fish died two days later after I've bought it, they (the worker and not owner Sergio) would not even exchange for the same type of fish. He pretended to call the owner for permission and came back to tell me that I should have provided a water sample (even though my tanks have cycled and all of my other are doing fine). Sergio, the owner, has done the exchange for me in the past with no problems. Luckily I didn't bring my daughter along because she would've been very sad for it was the fish that she picked out and paid for with her own money. I'm not bitter over a $7 fish, it's the principle that "a happy customer will keep coming back" to support a small business like this. I've bought many fish from this place in the past and had high hope that it would be my "go-to" place for all my African cichlids fish. I'm disappointed and hope Sergio retrain his employee so he doesn't lose more businesses. Needless to say, I'm NOT coming back and they've loss a loyal customer for life. read more
