She happily showed us around their shop and also shared some cool shrimps and how they feed. Jeremy was also very helpful with showing me the different selection of corals I was curious about and answered all my questions I had. Absolutely loved this saltwater fish and coral store! They were incredibly friendly and kind from the moment I walked in. They were happy to answer questions and never made me feel rushed or pressured. The prices were very fair honestly some of the best I've seen and the selection of corals was stunning. Everything looked healthy, vibrant, and well cared for. The shop is owned by an amazing owner and his wife, and you can really feel the passion and care they put into the store and the animals. What an amazing reef store Jeremy and his wife own. I was able to speak with Jeremy over the phone and he confirmed having a tube anemone (pink tentacle w/green mouth). As soon as I entered The Mystic Reef, I was greeted with a warm, "Hello." It felt nice being greeted and welcomed. If you are looking for leather corals, they have so many huge mother colony's to see how your frag will look like. I was able to purchase the tube anemone and 2 maxi/mini carpet anemone's. In one of their aquariums, there is a BEAUTIFUL Queen Angelfish. I might take her home one day. She's got the beautiful iridescent blue's that makes your mouth drop to the floor. The store has a wide selection of quarantined fish, amazing Tyree elegance corals and so many other corals to choose from. If you're lucky, you'll get to eat an amazing story of their pink Gonipora that almost died and through hard work and a little bit of luck, grew the tiny frag back to multiple mother colony's. read more

I don't recommend this place. I had purchased RO & salt water for my marine fish tank several times. But this last time it looks like he gave me used salt water. Other times the water is clean. This last time the water was brownish dirty looking. I noticed when I had poured most of the water was dirty brown. It had sediment at the bottom on the container. Last time I'm purchasing anything from that store. People if you go to purchase water. Make sure it's clean new water. read more

We have come here a couple times and the younger brother always charged more than the older one. We cleared the air and went back after a while and when we asked him a question about one of this fish he said he didn't know. Not sure how you can run a fish store and not know about the fish you are selling. We went back today and we were going to purchase some salt water fish & coral but we decided to leave because we heard him being rude to another customer. We then left and went and had lunch and as we were walking by again he came out and was video taping us and accused us of stealing. This seems to be a common thing he does , on a reply to a bad review from someone else he also accused them of stealing. We didn't touch anything while in there. Don't go here! The energetic/coked-out guy that works here will say he's giving you "an amazing deal" and it's all BS. He overprices simple fish and tries to make you buy more stuff at a "discounted price". You are better off taking the 10 minute ride down Limonite to Petco or Petsmart. This store has a horrible and cheating business model. Don't let them play the "small business" card on you, if you want to support a small business then go to Global Aquatics. Ughh this place has horrible service and worker or owner is very rude and disrespectful!!!!! Ill definitely wont recommend this place at all! I went there with my husband and kids. My son walked inside the store first and the guy from the store told my son in a mean way to not touch anything when he barely walked inside. That's not a very nice way to greet customers honestly. So I was looking at the fishes to see which ones to get because we wanted like 7 to 10 fishes and other things and all of the sudden the guy just said I'm actually closed!
