What a great find! We are new to fresh water fish. Set up our first tank and trying to get our water right so we can add more fish. We wanted to check out a new store and met Rick who spent a significant amount of time with us giving advice on how to get our tank properly cycled and the water safe to add more fish. He's made some great suggestions, offered to test our water, so we went back 2 days in a row and bought more stuff for our tank based off his recommendation. After adding plants and a water change our fish are already more active and more curious around the tank! We look forward to going back next week to retest our water and hopefully get a new fish for our tank! read more

FOR SALTWATER PEOPLE, don't waste youre time. They're instant ocean saltwater tested at 6.2 alk, .12 phosphate (thats INSANE!) and 4.2 nitrates. RO/DI water at 22 ppm! That resin filter is EXTREMELY EXHAUSTED. With a whole bunch of sediment sitting at the bottom of my jug now. This place has 0 good saltwater fish, I mean 0, literal just fire fish and some damsels, w/ a laughable "coral/softy" tank with a LITERAL blue light strip from Amazon... JUST STAY AWAY YALL.. I WILL NEVER BE BACK read more

Well stocked with everything you need to start your journey from basic fishkeeping, nature aquariums, ponds, salt water reef setups you name it!. Clean, friendly environment with helpful staff. l'd like to note some of these negative reviews seems to be more of the individuals personal attitude rather then the service this establishment provides (Never had an issue getting help I've always preferred to walk around undisturbed checking out the fish) 10/10 would recommend! I'm a first time shrimp owner so I came in with very little knowledge and was given this bag of food for them. After a couple of days I noticed the shrimp weren't interested at all in the food they sold me so upon further inspection of the bag I noticed I was sold an expired bag of shrimp food. The sign "all sales are final" should have been my 1st red flag. Photos show what I was sold and how I found out I was scammed. By Pulling the tape back it exposes the true expiration date which coincides with the assumed year this shop was opened. Owner hasn't replenished old products and thrown out the expired? Wow read more

I'm so upset. I purchase one small ranchu last week. I went there two weeks ago and picked him out. He had the ich apparently. The store owner gave him methylene blue and and I came back other time. I picked him up a week later. One week ago I put him in a new 60 gal tank with my XXL oranda which I've had for months. Today my fish died from Ich and fin rot he got from this fish. I'm so sad. I can't stop crying. I lost my son. I am so heart broken and mad. I'm not coming here again. I did not know this would be the result. Be careful of buying fish from here, it they have the ich and cause fin rot. I bought everything here because I wanted to support a local store, not anymore. read more
