I own no fish, other that what I have (cover your ears) in my freezer... for eating. I have no aquarium. What I do have is a 2 year old granddaughter who has a fascination for pretty fish in fancy aquariums. This is not a strip mall pet store. We took her just to look. Didn't buy anything. We were simply amazed at the volume of related merchandise and vast displays of beautiful tropical fish and anemones, live aquatic plants, to name a few. You will find some very exotic specimens in many sizes and colors, with prices to match. We felt welcome and free to roam, looking at all their displays. This place is definitely a great resource for collectors. read more

Me and my friend went in today just to get a look at what they have and some ideas for a tank that I started cycling. I had went in when they first opened shop and it had only saltwater on the left, now they have expanded the right side of the store to freshwater and I am pretty excited about that. As someone who only works with freshwater, it's really exciting to have a local store instead of supporting big chains like petco and petsmart. I'm really looking forward to the day I get to stop by and choose my betta for my new set up! I also wanted to include that they have a few nano tank setups on display with some cute shrimp and some guppies! They have just about the same inventory as a chain store that you would buy from, if anything, more than that! The bettas were listed as $20 but I'm not sure if that applies to all of them on display. I was a bit sad when I saw them because their tails weren't in the best condition however, this might just be the way they were shipped. Whatever it is, it can be fixed with a bit of love and care! read more

Reef Lounge Norco - Blue tang - Local Fish Stores Near Me - Norco, California

Jimmy the owner is a long time and trusted man in the fish aquarium industry. He knows his stuff. Huge shop. Biggest fish store I've been in and I've been in a lot of them. The selection of fish is amazing, everything from tanks, coral, saltwater to freshwater and more. I highly recommend this business. read more

Reef Lounge Norco - Beautiful dog face puffer bought here. - Local Fish Stores Near Me - Norco, California

This store is a hidden gem. If you need fish and other creatures. This is not busy like the big box stores where you have to hunt someone down to assist with the fish section. The guy there is very smart on how to care for them and gave pointers on using different kinds of water. What can survive in tap water, purified water etc. This is the best small business and fish store by far. read more

This place is great! All the fish look healthy and the store is spotless. I only own a beta fish so my options here were limited, but there's a ton of coral, salt water or freshwater fish. Even saw some cool eels! Overall a great store. Next time I need something I'll be here! read more

Nice store. They were light on fish when we went (shipping issues apparently). Staff is helpful but also doesn't hover. Good selection of corals. They have a smaller store in Anaheim as well. I recommend that you visit if you're looking for any new fish or corals (maybe call first to see if they have what you might be looking for as well). The owner is awesome and is always willing to try and get you whatever you are looking for. read more

Was looking to get koi fish but unfortunately they do not sell them just yet. Will definitely try to get other things the next time we stop by. Owner is nice and friendly, staffs are courteous. Ample parking space. The store is located next to the Nikki PetSpa. read more

Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Healthy fish! I recommend small businesses like this one over large chain stores.

The owner has one side dedicated to salt water and the other side for freshwater. His freshwater section is still slowly being developed but his saltwater side is up and thriving. I can't wait to see what freshwater species are to come as I am patiently waiting for some freshwater shrimp. They sell both RO and Salt water. read more

Reef Lounge Norco - Live Corals - Local Fish Stores Near Me - Norco, California

Talk about long term disappointment. The first year or so we used this store we were so Impressed with the selection and the pricing. We even had them come out to do our regular service. Over time though, things gradually went downhill. Of the stock we purchased, both fish and coral, about 50% were dead within a week or so of being put in the tank. In the 2+ years we used them, we spent thousands on livestock and more than half only lasted a few weeks. When I asked about this, the owner told me "everything has an expiration date". The last time I texted him to express my frustration was 2.5 months ago, and he never responded. He hasn't tried to get in touch since. I'm a small business owner and if a customer who regularly dropped that kind of money on me just disappeared, I'd be wanting to know why. But that's just me. The last straw. We found a new tank servicing company who is fantastic. Since they took over, they installed a refugium and the amount of algae in the tank has plummeted, so less cleaning for us to do. He has his own little network of clients and does livestock exchanges among them and since he's servicing all the tanks he knows the stock is clean and healthy. So if we have fish we no longer want, he finds a new home for them with another client. We tell him what kinds of fish and coral we like and he's been very successful finding them for us at a fraction of the cost of Reef Lounge. Of everything they've put in our tank in the last two months, nothing has died and everything is doing great! He found problems with the RO system Reef Lounge installed and corrected that. We went from wanting to just get rid of the whole setup to being very happy with our tank. And Reef Lounge lost a loyal customer who had sunk a boatload of money into their tank. Maybe he tried to expand too fast and couldn't keep up anymore, I don't know. But I'm pleased I don't have to drive all the way to Reef Lounge anymore. read more

Kids and I stopped by to check out their freshwater selection, and we didn't expect much but were so surprised at how large the store was. The owner was very friendly and we came home with several African cichlids. The coral side of the store was also so impressive, it's making us ponder if we want to try our hands at saltwater one day! read more

Been working with Jimmy since I started the salt water hobby back in 2017/18. He has been my go to for all aquarium needs. This store literally has everything. Tanks, equipment, exotic fish and corals. Things can get pricey, but jimmy is always willing to work a deal. read more

I went in to look around as I love fish! I checked out saltwater first and when I was checking out the freshwater fish I noticed a tank of them had ick. I wasn't sure if the owner had noticed so I went ahead and told him the tank had ick and that I wasn't trying to step on any toes. He then asked "what do you want me to do about it?" And I said you gotta treat them with the blue stuff (can't remember the name). And he like laughed and said he did that already and asked me if I wanted to throw them away so I don't see them. And I said no. And he said oh well I've only been doing this 40 years. So I left and don't plan to go back. He was just all around rude when my intention was to help not to insult! read more

Finally, a saltwater reef shop in the Corona/Norco area! The owner is very friendly and helpful. He also owns the famous Reef lounge in Anaheim, so this store will get a lot more tanks running soon. Great selection of amazing corals at good prices. A lot of hardware is available. I picked up over 8 corals in the past two weeks, and they are doing amazing! I highly recommend this place as its brand new and has tons to offer. Once the tanks mature, it'll get better. read more

They're friendly, knowledgeable and have a wide variety of salt water and freshwater fish.

Love this place. He has ALOT of beautiful and amazing salt water fish. Absolutely gorgeous!! Unfortunately not as many fresh water just yet.

This seems to be an up and coming great LFS, great variety of selections still a bit of a disarray as they seem to still be setting up the other half of the store, noticed there's a lot of mislabeled tanks with wrong fish names, tanks seem clean since they're new, prices might be slightly higher than Petco/ Petsmart but that's to be expected with higher quality fish (anywhere is an upgrade to Petco sick fishes) place is super spacious, if you're in to Corals snd Marine fishes this is a great place to be shopping, I'll drop by another time to check it out again maybe I can update to 5 star if Freshwater side gets better stocked read more

Jimmy always the best ! Hands down ! Has great selection of fish and corals . Need your fix stop by and see his place.. read more

I am not by any means an expert in fish husbandry or saltwater tanks but the owner Jimmy definitely is! I left this place with confidence that the power head, coral, and fish I bought were well taken care of and will thrive in my display tank. His prices are really good and he matches any price online! This is my go to place now for stock and knowledge! read more

A lot of fish stores will sell you whatever you want and don't care about what happens to the animals after they leave the store. The owner here will give you advice and let you know when you are going to run into trouble...Even if that makes him lose a sale. He always has new shipments and his prices can't be beat. This is the only place I will buy fish from. read more

I have a 10 gallon fresh water tank. I stop in Reef Lounge every so often, but their fresh water stock for plants, equipment, fish and shrimp etc isn't really bolstered enough yet. Great place! Jimmy is super friendly and knowledgeable! He took the time to answer all my "beginner reefer" questions. Store is clean, tanks are clean, and fish seem very healthy. Lots of stock fish, coral, and supplies. Great place to hang out too! There are lounges for people to enjoy the big tanks and just relax. Thanks Jimmy! read more

Jimmy (the owner) is awesome. He's extremely friendly, helpful, especially to noobs, and unlike SO many LFS's in Riverside/Orange County, his tanks actually look well maintained. After having purchased and dipped many coral from Jimmy's stores, I can confirm the number of pests that drop off the corals in the dips is always minimal to none, which goes to show how much knowledge he has about how to properly take care of his tanks and livestock. I don't go anywhere else. read more
